I have gotten some snide and rude comments on a serious statement I made in a previous post. Usually, I do not feed the trolls like Patt, Marsha or Russ - they have serious issues they need to work through. They do not need further attention other than a prayer. I guess we have to pray for the trolls, too - right??
When we begin to actually read the scriptures, we are told of a situation we will be in here shortly. One where no one owns anything. We simply are stewards over what has been assigned to us. Where we have been given children and we have done a poor job - or chosen not to have them, we have no increase. We have found our end. Where we have chosen to be wise stewards, increase, above and beyond what we need for ourselves, is given to those whose predicament is worse than our own. All are elevated - indeed there are no poor among them and the society rises together, or falls together.
This does not imply sameness. This is NOT communism. What DOES happen, is that those who can handle much, are given much. Those whose inclinations are to much less, will have much less. Sufficient for their needs. No more; no less. Very simple.
If they leave the system, they pull their shares out of it and come out with no less had they not entered into it. Most will not leave it, precisely because this consecrated form of living is the next step in their journey towards celestial laws. Once they have learned the lessons, they can move up and their rewards will be increased proportionately. World without end - all that Father has. Those that pull back from a consecrated life, once they have entered it - they are damned in their progression. Those who will not even abide the law of tithing - well, that is a progressive thing (line upon line, precept on precept, here a little, there a little until they come to a fullness), so they are simply damned in their progress (or forward movement).
As far as the City of Enoch and the New Jerusalem go, only those who would like to live a Consecrated Life will be allowed to enter into it. Only those who are WILLING to live that kind of a life, would be allowed to enter into it. It is in the willingness that we may say that we have sold all that we have. Selling it now - in an entitled time where people expect something for nothing - is utter foolishness. Being good stewards until the need becomes a reality is another thing.
May we begin to qualify ourselves for a Zion life, now! It will not happen over night. We have to want it with all our hearts.
I would like to add additional information about the many Zion-like cities that will surround the many temples that are and that will be soon completed in what is now the Rocky Mountain states.
ReplyDeleteFirst, we are not, repeat NOT, going to abandon our temples in the Rocky Mountain states.
Second, the great earthquake of the sixth seal will destroy most of the invading armies that seek our utter destruction and the survivors of these invading armies will flee and return to their countries of origin. The cleansing of the western hemisphere at that point has been completed.
This great earthquake will level every mountain range in the western hemisphere. For there are not any mountains in the global continent that will be the Millennial earth. The current and soon to be completed Rocky Mountain temples will have Zion-like cities built around each of them after the opening of the seventh seal, which happens at AOA, and be patterned after the City of New Jerusalem; for most of us will never live in NJ. But the requirement of living in any Zion-like city will be the same. Those who dwell in one of these sacred cities must be the pure in heart and these blessed souls must be those who can have the Lord declare, "... then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God." For Jesus will walk the streets of these holy places. We must become holy ourselves to call one of these holy cities our home.
These many temple centered Zion-like cities collectively along with the Capitol City of Zion together constitute "the City of New Jerusalem" mentioned in the scriptures.
At AOA, Christ will be sustained not only as Lord of Lords and King of Kings, but as President of the Church as well. The mortal president of the church will retain his position as the senior mortal Apostle upon the earth and will be sustained as President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Theocracy will be implemented which will combine the US Constitution will divine laws. There will not be any money coined or printed in this new order of things. Therefore there is not the selling of anything. Our stewardship will be by our personal willingness to comply with the law of consecration that we have already made even now to keep.

I've sold all that I have, too, even though I live in a major city and am a participant in the "system" in every usual way. Don't see how we can pull out of the system and become survivalist hermits while carrying out the mandate to carry the Gospel to every clime.

The Lord has given me EVERYTHING from a spirit body to now. It is by the elements respecting and obeying HIS WORD without failure or deviance by so much as one degree that daily life on this planet is sustained.

Can any of us do this? Can you comprehend such power and omnipotence? Would someone explain to me how Lucifer thought he had the "stuff" to ascend above Father in Heaven? Would someone explain to me how ANY of our brothers and sisters would believe he could do it and rebel against Father in Heaven with him also? I cannot wrap my mind around such a scenario or being ESPECIALLY after reading a description of God's glory in the Book of Enoch.
Please pray with me:
Father in Heaven Thou hast given us everything we are and everything we have. At any given moment Thou canst take it all away. It all belongs to Thee anyway except one thing Thou has given that we must freely let go of and return to Thee. Our agency to choose to do what is right. Our agency to give all our hearts, allegiance, and love to Thee. All we are and all we have to build up Thy Kingdom, we give gladly back to Thee to make more out of it than we surely can.
What is it to Thee anyway? Nothing really. Thou art rich beyond comprehension. Thou art a God of Love. Thine eyes search to and fro the earth for one that is meek, pure in heart, poor in spirit, mourning because of Darkness, persecuted for Thy name's sake, one that thirsts and hungers after righteousness, a peacemaker.
Yes, Father in Heaven, King of the Universe, we will along with our brother IRAQ, and the rest of our brothers and sisters sell all that we have to be a part of Thy family forever. Please help all who have desires for this to achieve it through the merits and mercy of Thy Beloved Son, even Jesus the Christ, amen.
