THE JEWISH FEASTS IN A NUTSHELL

I have never seen this info so succinctly put:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=FPpT715y1-s

Also, got this off FB from a smart pal:

"In Psalm 27:5 it is written:

"For in the time of trou
ble He shall HIDE me in His pavilion: in the
secret of His tabernacle shall He hide me: He shall set me upon a
rock"

Pavilion can also be translated Sukka/Tent. This is a reference to the Feast of Tabernacles (In September)/or Feast of Booths when some believe Messiah was born. One good reason to start keeping this Feast day/ It is across an 8 day period. Some Hebrew Roots believe they will be saved while in there tents/sukka's during this time.

I believe with all that we are seeing transpire, this 40 days of Elul (repentance) are very important for us each individually to reflect. Immediately following come The Day of Trumpets (A Trumpet is blown to crown a King), then Day of Judgement (Yom Kippur), Then Sukkot. All very prophetic Biblical times.

If you research, The Messiah fulfilled all the Spring Feast Days at His first coming. When He arrives next He will fulfil/come according to the Fall Feast Days. This is what everyone is waiting for now..."
Remember that the feast of  Tabernacles or booths has to do with a Wedding Feast (think of the Bridegroom returning to come to His bride for the wedding (or reunion and consummation of their relationship)).  My wife pointed out to me that the groom leaves for up to a year to prepare a home/place for his sweetie that he is betrothed to.  She, while he is away, lights a lamp and leaves it in an upper window to let others know that she is betrothed and awaiting the return of her groom-to-be.  Every night, she keeps the lamp trimmed waiting.  That is how we should be, as we await the return of our Savior.  Watching and waiting.  He can come at any time - once that place is prepared and he is ready to receive her to Him.  The parallels are amazing.

  2. Now that I am older and learning more and MORE concerning the LORD'S "appointed Feasts (times)", I am upset that throughout my life I was celebrating PAGAN holidays, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and actually associating two of them with God! AND just "noticing" on a wall calendar, "oh, today there's that funny word Yom Kippur, or Rosh Hashanah" and think nothing more of it leaving it to the Jews.

Now it's becoming QUITE apparent in the Heavens that the Lord meant it when He said His feasts were to be observed FOREVER!

The Christian world has hijacked the Bible to some extent and is guilty of IGNORING the APPOINTED TIMES. They've put Israel in a box of antiquity to some extent and treat them like "you had your chance and you blew it!"

OBSERVE THEM, CELEBRATE THEM, REMEMBER HIM AND HIS SON!!!! SHAME ON US!!!

We had better repent and get on board with God's calendar and Israel which is what I fully intend to do. Time to get out of the Big and Spacious building.

We're in trouble brothers and sisters. Write down somewhere and keep it safe all of the Feast Days for the next 4 years or so as the AC will try to change the appointed times and make us lose track.

Get yourself a copy of the Jewish bible, the Tanakh. You can get one interlinear with Hebrew and English. A good one will be authenticated by rabbi's who have kept it as close to the Hebrew language as possible. And read it!

Acronym Definition; TaNaKh: Torah, Nevi'im, Ketuvim (Hebrew: Law, Prophets, Writings; Jewish Bible)

The books of the bible are separated into categories. So now doesn't it make more sense when Jesus said, "I have not come to destroy the law or the prophets but to fulfill"?

He meant He wasn't coming to nullify ANYTHING that was written/prophesied of HIM!

Study Biblical Hebrew. You won't regret it.
