between 1934 and 1939 Hitler annexes Austria -the Anchluss act and the Sudete region of Czekoslovakia

like in Crimeea an act of annexation is signed with the former empire power of Austria-his country of origin or birth
the annexation of the sudete region is like the Russian occupation of Donetsk and Harkov and eastern Ukrainian lands

ReplyDeleteYou neglect that the Crimea situation was precipitated by the overthrow of Ukraine's democratically elected president through violence, terror and arson. This overthrow was done by western Ukrainians who are anti-Russian and declared the Russian language illegal as soon as they got in power illegally.
ReplyDeleteYou neglect that the U.S. State Department official, Victoria Nuland, bragged that the U.S. spent at least $5 billion on the opposition to Ukraine's government and elected president.
You neglect that many of these Ukrainian protesters are neo-Nazis and celebrate as a hero a murderous WWII Ukrainian Nazi, Bandera (sp?).
You leave out that Crimea was annexed to Ukraine by Kruschev and it was done without the will and approval of the people who lived there. You neglect that Crimea was part of Russia up until Kruschev made that dictatorial move.
You leave out that most of western and southern Ukraine had been Russian land which was annexed to Ukraine by Stalin. Again without the will or approval of the people who live there. And that these people DO feel threatened by the current illegal government and also BUSSED IN THUGS from western Ukraine who are currently committing violence and starting fights in this part of Ukraine. It's said that a 17-year-old sniper was caught in Crimea and he was shooting at both sides - Ukrainians and Crimeans. He is from western Ukraine and said he was paid to do it. This is similar to the shootings in Kiev. A released phone transcript had an Estonian diplomat talking with EU official Ashton about how a Ukrainian doctor said the snipers shooting at both sides: both the protesters and Ukrainian police. The west covered up the news. But fact is the Estonian official did confirm it was him on the call.
Ukraine was originally a small area which meant "borderland" - that's what Ukraine means in the language and there was no such ethnic group called Ukrainians at the time.
So the fact is that what is going on in Crimea is a REACTION to maneuverings by the U.S. and NATO and Crimea was in fact PUSHED back to Russia's arms by those actions.
Russia has a right to defend its interest and it doesn't want NATO missiles right on top of its border which is what NATO is gunning for.
Russia was even promised that NATO wouldn't expand if it was allowed for eastern Germany to reunite with Germany. That was the promise back then. But instead NATO keeps expanding into new countries and building bases in them. They have been building bases in Romania and Bulgaria.
