THIS BLOG ATTEMPTS TO SHOW HOW SCIENCE IS CATCHING UP WITH REVEALED RELIGION

THIS BLOG IS AN ATTEMPT TO PUT ALL THE COOL STUFF THAT I BUMP INTO ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST AND EVENTS THAT LEAD UP TO IT INTO ONE LOCATION.
THE CONTENTS WILL BE FROM AN LDS PERSPECTIVE. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ANYTHING IN HERE, I DO NOT PARTICULARLY CARE TO ARGUE, UNLESS YOU CAN ADD TO THIS BODY OF WORK. I HAVE AN OPEN MIND, THAT IS WHY I READ STUFF FROM ALL DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES AND SEEK LEARNING FROM THE BEST BOOKS. I JUST AM NOT HERE TO ARGUE ABOUT IT - BUT TO PUT IT OUT THERE WHERE OTHERS CAN PERUSE/PURSUE IT. I TAKE PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HONEST SEEKERS OF TRUTH AND BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE IS REVEALED RELIGION'S BEST ALLY. YOU WILL SEE ALOT OF TOPICS IN THIS BLOG THAT SHOW SCIENCE BACKING - AND SLOWLY CATCHING UP WITH - REVEALED RELIGION.
ENJOY!!

THERE ARE ALWAYS GOING TO BE HATERS FOR THOSE WHO PUT THE TRUTH OUT THERE

I love this meme that Heather put together.  Jesus took some serious damage when He put himself out there and called out the entire establishment of the day.  I consider it an honor when I take one for the team in a like manner.  If we do not open our mouths, then we simply are not valiant and will not merit a place in Father's Kingdom (one day).  So, if you feel like you have a message - then keep on keepin' on:

One of the problems with quoting prophets, sharing scriptures, raising awareness, being a missionary in any way, etc, is that sometimes people think that those sharing feel superior, are better than, or feel perfected in what they are sharing. This misconception makes the person sharing seem unreachable, proud, judgemental, and "on a pedestal."

In addition, gospel truths - no matter how they are shared - will offend someone. There will always be someone who is offended no matter how these types of topics are approached. So then people avoid sharing anything at all. Those scared to offend coddle those easily offended and messages of truth are suppressed.

It certainly is much easier to share fluff on social media than it is to share gospel truths. The risk of looking extreme, fanatical, and/or unpopular are just not worth it for far too many members who have conformed to the world's standards in how they use social media...

And for those who do choose to utilize social media to share gospel truths, being Christlike in posts and responses is key. It is a learned process, one of which I am still learning. Inciting hearts to anger is not my goal with my personal profile or my Awaken page. My admins know my motives for the page and being Christlike is at the top of the list. We are, however, all a work in progress, and I will be the first to admit I have much work to do. And for those "worried"about me because I'm posting what I'm posting, don't send people messages... don't ask people about me, bring me cookies and talk to me face to face. You will see I am just fine.

Here are some words of encouragement from Heather (from the FB group, Awaken).  And I could not have said it better, myself:
