Now, with intercontinental missiles, she can be reached. After Damascus, the capital of one of our enemies who is a staunch ally of Russia, is flattened - we get flattened by what I read to be nukes and then most likely invading armies. It all seems pretty clear to me. Maybe I just have an over-active imagination..... :)
Here is the commentary that got me spun up:
Christ said the Last Days would be like the days of Noah. (Matt 24)
In Noah's day there was a great prophecy that would mark the coming of the Great Flood. The sign that preceeded the Great Flood was the death of Methuselah; the oldest man to ever live. Methuselah's name means (his death shall bring). According to Jewish tradition, the rain started just 7 days following Methuselah's death. Maybe this sign helped Noah know when to start loading the animals on the Ark.
Could there be a parallel prophecy in the Last Days with regard to the Great Burning or Abomination of Desolation?
Isaiah 17:1-3 just might be that parallel prophecy:
1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap. ....
3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, (Old Testament, Isaiah, Chapter 17)
The significant thing about Isa 17 saying at some point Damascus would "cease to be a city" is that Damascus is the oldest continuously inhabited city on Earth. Damascus is Genesis Old and was around during the time of Lot, Abraham and Melchizedek. Damascus has been involved in many many wars over its lifetime, But for Isaiah to say "it would cease to be a city" and that it would "become a ruinous heap" is really saying something.
Then there is the other half of the prophecy which says that when we see Damascus destroyed, "the fortress of Ephraim shall fail or cease". Well, whatever that means, it doesnt sound good for Ephraim.
Anyways, I actually love Isa 17, because every day I check the news and see that Damascus is still there, I know its gonna be a good day.
Most likely, in an act of desperation - when it appears that all is lost on one side of this conflict, that nuke that Sarah Menet will get lobbed into Israel and then the missiles start flying and the US is hit.
When Damascus is getting flattened, its time to run for your safe place. I think its a good sign - every bit as cryptic as the sign of Jonah would have been to the people watching the events in Jesus' day unfold as he lay in the belly of the earth.
I am not that much into the Sarah Menet prophecies, preferring to look at things from the authorized oracles of God as my primary source material. It is interesting though the Damascus prophecy in Isaiah and it would line up perfectly with the alleged George Albert Smith prophecy.
