I JUST AM NOT HERE TO ARGUE ABOUT IT - BUT TO PUT IT OUT THERE WHERE OTHERS CAN PERUSE/PURSUE IT. I TAKE PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HONEST SEEKERS OF TRUTH AND BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE IS REVEALED RELIGION'S BEST ALLY. SELAH - O COME, O COME EMMANUEL

I do not like this rendition musically, as much as Sugarland's rendition - but I sure LOVE the videography.  I have found that whomever made this movie (that the music video was clipped from) did excellent research on the practices of the day - and the fact that they nailed a typical Babylonian-style observatory and then got the "Star of Bethlehem" right, as the conjunction of Regulus, Venus and Jupiter all the way back in 2008, before the knowledge was general - is just about of the charts:
