I am listening to this - this gal nails it down! This is the deep-dive on President Benson's talk on Pride. It gets down to the brass tacks and the nitty-gritty.
This nails down why we have a "hook-up" culture today. It is the "sexual (deviancy) revolution" come full circle. I have many family members and extended family members who have bought this tripe. One apparently self-identifies as a lesbian and is a total hook-up queen as a 60 year old. You would think someone would have figured "it" out by that age..... Sheesh......
AND, these same people are openly fighting against the Church - the keeper of God's value set that holds the human family to the line that keeps us from self-annihilation that has happened over and over again thru time (note the number of crumbled cities under tons of earth and rubble).

A group of engineers and I were talking about "creeper" vans (I drive one, apparently). I have an older co-worker who was part of the 70's hook-up culture and had a lowered, shag carpeted, bed in the back, shag van. He said the van helped him get a ton of "nookie" back in the day. Now, he has grown up and finally got married and has turned into a fine adult. The 2010's equivalent of that is tinder. I mentioned that to the group of young hipsters - and that people are like dogs and hook up with other people based on their phones. See each other, sniff butts - go have sex in the bushes. The homosexual culture is just this - and has been for decades. Now, this hook-up culture has gone into the mainstream with the heterosexual crowd.
And people try to call me out for saying we are ripe. Yep - we are ripe. It comes quickly - and much sooner than any of us realize.
