Hmmmmm...... They shut down an Aegis class warship in the Black Sea a few years ago. Now this in the Baltic Sea. I thought it interesting this was an Infowars article, cited by the Drudge Report.
We have two very angry countries - just as scripture asserts we would have as we dive headlong into the mess with Assyria. We have not hardened our military hardware as we should have. Russia knows this - and has focused on this weakness. It may prove our folly. I noticed after the first humiliation, there was a big push by weeny congress-critters to focus on hardening our national grid.
Too little, too late. It takes a national mind-set and decades to get things into a good place, from a place of complacency. They are too busy chasing pages and little boys to think about matters that really impact others. We have made our bed - and now will sleep in it.....:

How silly. A few pilots were told to go buzz a destroyer, doing nothing but providing a little entertainment for a few bored sailors and telling the ship it was close enough for an air strike, and governments do everything they can to spin a couple fly-bys.
ReplyDelete@Brian j ... multiple passes, then a helo, then 13 more passes ... do some homework as the SU passed over the ship look into what type of missile was loaded on both those wings. Sorry to start a flame war here but don't dismiss a potential enemy at <50ft and antiship missles.
