I TAKE PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HONEST SEEKERS OF TRUTH AND BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE IS REVEALED RELIGION'S BEST ALLY. THE ALPHA AND OMEGA OF THE BLOOD MOONS

Interesting that one started basically the start of Israel (in 1948) and also of America (in 1492).

These last couple will herald at least the end of America's nice easy ride.

Sad really - we are watching this (once) great nation implode before our very eyes....

I agree that it is very sad. This Republic is, as President Lincoln said, the last best hope for mankind - as far as a secular system of government is concerned. It is interesting that many prophets and apostles have said that the flag of the United States will be found flying over this people (LDS). If the Elders of Israel are to help salvage this nation (United States) and ensure an environment where free expression and practice of religion can occur then we need to stay in the game and never give up. Exercising our franchise as citizens and speaking up for truth may make us unpopular for a while, but at least we wont willingly become subjects.

Life is still so good though. You can make your own world a millennial heaven. I'm happy everyday in spite of all the sin in the world. Distance yourself from it. Remember Uchtdorfs message of gratitude and your attitude will soften.

There is so much abuse and evil in the world and the ones to suffer the most are the innocent, it would be nice to turn your self off of evil but it wont happen in the world now, not for those who suffer at the hands of others, I hope it comes down soon, Prayer for the children.

But the Latter-day Saints are not in darkness; they are the children of light, although many of us will actually be asleep. We shall have to wake up and trim up our lamps, or we shall not be prepared to enter in; for we shall all slumber and sleep in that day, and some will have gone to sleep from which they will not awake until they awake up in darkness without any oil in their lamps.
