The military has long practiced urban combat and trained in as realistic environments as possible. A little research on M.O.U.T. will expose this for what it really is. Military Operations on Urbanized Terrain. We have long fought battles in cities. The last decade of combat has spent significant time fighting in cities. We have spent a decade in combat in urban environments. Fighting in a city is not the same as in the field. CQC is a style of combat that requires lots of training to be good at and the creation of realistic cities is the only way to enhance the skills of our troops.
