Spencer said that the mark of the beast was more symbolic than not. He brought up a very important point. The A/C and all the gay minions that support his hellish agenda can force their agenda on anyone by threatening your ability to do commerce (buy/sell) if you do not submit to their agenda.
I also believe it will be a literal thing, as well. A physical chip meant to monitor location, tracking your spending, internet usage and much more. It will include your "paperz pleeeez" - ahhh, so reminiscent of the original fascist regime the Germans willfully submitted to. You may not realize it, but you - most of you - have willfully given in to the same regime that Hitler deluded the German citizenry into 75 years ago. They were so deluded that they cheered them on. Within the Church, there was a young boy (Hubner) who used the branch mimeograph machine to produce anti-Hitlerian fliers and who distributed them at the peril of his own life. When the Branch President was made aware of it, he gladly turned the boy over to the authorities - and to his eventual death. The Branch President was sure Hitler was a great guy because he brought prosperity to the people (yeah, right) and because he was against smoking (supported the Word of Wisdom) - and because we are supposed to be subject to rulers, magistrates, etc...... Yep....... Great thinking. Great choices.....
I have already made up my mind as to where I stand and how I will act independent of what others around me tell me I should do. First and foremost, I follow the Spirit. Then I follow the teachings of Christ, to the best of my ability. Then, I follow the counsels of man (even a Prophet), so long as they do not violate the first set of filters. Nephi got thru an extremely difficult decision chain following these logic gates to their conclusion. History bore it out to be the correct thing. Which is why we have scriptures - to help us develop our thinking (and logic patterns) after those of Heavenly Beings. How can we know the mind and will of God, if we do not read them. One of the best ways to understand my wife is to read her inner thoughts - read her diary (with permission). The scriptures are the way to understand God's inner thoughts - as written by men under the influence of a member of the Godhead. Quite simple.
So, at some point, it will be illegal to even have a copy of the scriptures on your person or to meet in public with groups of 8 or more being forbidden in regards to any religious conversation. There will be state infiltrators specifically sent to ensure that nothing is going on in that regard. Those who were once family, bound by values and common good, will have sold out and will be your enemies and trust will be in short supply. Patience will be required - for the tyrannical limitations will be imposed for a time, but this too shall pass as the oppressor is brought low by an outside force - just as in the Book of Mormon. It was written for our day. Many of us will pass through trials, just as written in that book. It is a war-time operations manual to show the way for many, how they will get through what is coming. It also shows the way of salvation that comes to those who are oppressed. Just as it will be for Judah in Jerusalem, so shall it be for Joseph in America. It will be through a massive EQ that will be a trial and a blessing simultaneously.
