OFFICER SHOOTS BLACK MAN IN ST. LOUIS

Oh, boy I can just see Al Sharpton breaking trail to the scene to play the race card on this one......

What a joke America has become. Even though most likely completely justified, watch more rioting erupt over this. I would simply hand in my badge if I were in that area and not black.

Gotta love the media propaganda battles. Unfortunately most people follow what they are told - an officer shot an unarmed black man. Even on the "unbiased" sites do I rarely hear about an officer who, when defending himself from a violent attack, shoots his assailant.
The media storm is building. An earlier comment from another post alluded that this event may play out when the Zimmerman fiasco failed to produce the chaos necessary to declare wide spread martial law; and the "help" of the United Nations to quell the violence.
I would rather see the world repent and allow the second coming to happen through righteousness. When my now 32 yr old daughter was about 6 or 7 yrs old she turned to me while we were driving and stated very matter of factly that "I'm going to be alive when Jesus comes again." Out of the mouths of babes. Her live hasn't been particularly bump free. Church discipline, repentance, and re-baptism. Things that tend to let me know that she is not exactly a self styled stigmatic; and the statement was more than just parroting back what she may have heard at primary.
Things are getting interesting.

But the Latter-day Saints are not in darkness; they are the children of light, although many of us will actually be asleep. We shall have to wake up and trim up our lamps, or we shall not be prepared to enter in; for we shall all slumber and sleep in that day, and some will have gone to sleep from which they will not awake until they awake up in darkness without any oil in their lamps. But, as a general thing, the Saints will understand the signs of the times. Others have their eyes closed upon the prophecies of the ancient Prophets; and not only that, but they are void of the spirit of prophecy themselves. He says then shall they see the Sign of the comeing of the Son of Man in the clouds of Heaven. How are we to see it Ans. As the lighting up of the morning or the dawning of the morning cometh from the east and shineth unto the west—So also is the comeing of the Son of Man. The dawning of the morning makes its appearance in the east and moves along gradualy so also will the comeing of the Son of Man be. it will be small at its first appearance and gradually becomes larger untill every eye shall see it. Shall the Saints understand it Oh yes. Paul says so. Shall the wicked understand Oh no they attribute it to a natural cause. They will probably suppose it is two great comets comeing in contact with each other It will be small at first and will grow larger and larger untill it will be all in a blaze so that every eye shall see it."
