ECONOMIC COLLAPSE, FAMINE, SOCIAL COLLAPSE

Boy, am I ever antsy after seeing how hard of a winter we have been through and watching the farmer down the road finally getting ready to break ground for planting on June 1st instead of the end of the usual April, due to the late and severe weather. Metals prices and food prices sky-rocketing. Things are just running out of control. I think we may be in the middle of it according to the words of Bishop John Koyle. He had the gift - and I will laugh at all the naysayers (I suppose including some in church leadership) that slapped him down all those years ago. He said there would be a harsh winter followed by a wet spring, followed by a harsh dry summer followed by the beginning of the famine. Right before that, the economic collapse would start. Considering that we had a 30-40% contraction in most of our major markets, I still maintain we are in the middle of the beginnings of a depression.....

However, immediately following the mild open winter, there would be a hot, dry summer. The crops would come up in the spring, and there would be considerable moisture, and the crops would be glorious (that is the word Bishop used to use.) He saw the wheat would grow up and head out beautifully, and the irrigated wheat would mature, but the dry land wheat would not have enough moisture to fill out. By harvest time the heads would curl over in a sort of crescent shape. This was shown to him in another dream wherein he saw he went into the wheat fields when they were binding the grain which looked like it would be a splendid crop. He picked up a bundle of wheat by the binding twine, and the head's end of the bundle came up with the butt end of the bundle hanging down because it was heavier. Realizing that the head end should have gone down if there had been good wheat in it, he examined the heads of wheat by crushing them in his hands to bring out the kernels. He found that the wheat was terribly shrunken and not fit for food. He was told by the messenger that this condition would bring about a shortage of food during the first year of harvest.
The second year he was shown would be the same only much less food raised. Still, the irrigated grain would be good. He was told we would need to store up the first and second years grain to supply food for the third and fourth years. The third year the shortage would be so great that there would hardly be anything raised for food. The fourth year they would not be able to raise anything for food.
He was shown in another dream that during the fourth year there would be plenty of money to buy food and he with others went up and down throughout the country seeking to buy food and they could not buy any. Any people who had a little food would not sell it at any price. During this time of famine there would be no rain to do any good. He saw the clouds would come up, and it would look like it was going to rain, but a wind would come up and blow the clouds away; and if there was any rain at all, it was just a few drops which were not sufficient to do any good.

I have seen basic grain prices skyrocket 30% or more in the last year. Get your food stored up and sit back and enjoy the ride. THIS OR THE NEXT FEW YEARS IS PROBABLY IT!!

ANYONE THAT KNOWS ME WELL KNOWS THAT I JUST CONVERTED AROUND $40K OF MY "FOUR OH-OH NONE" OKAY.... INTO SOMETHING THAT CAN BE USED TO GET BY ON.

SHAWNA AND COMPANY WAS QUITE ASTOUNDED AT HOW QUICKLY I COULD BLOW THAT MUCH CASH ON "THE GOOD STUFF" - THE STUFF I ALWAYS WANTED TO GET BUT NEVER HAD THE IMPETUS TO STEP UP AND INVEST IN. LIKE I HAVE ALWAYS SAID, "THE ONLY GOOD THING A GREENBACK WILL BE WORTH ONE DAY IS TO WIPE YOUR POSTERIOR OR AS A FIRE STARTER." I THINK THAT DAY IS EITHER HERE OR FAST APPROACHING.....

SO I CONVERTED GREENBACKS TO USEFUL ASSETS. THIS SURVIVAL SITE PUTS TOGETHER A NICE LIST OF THE USEFUL TANGIBLES. THINGS THAT CAN BE USED TO GROW A GARDEN, HEAT A LIVING SPACE, GET FUEL, STAY WARM, KEEP FROM GETTING SICK, STAY WARM WHEN OUTDOORS IN ADVERSE WEATHER, AND PICK OFF A VARMINT OR TWO (OR 12,000) TO GET SOMETHING FOR THE POT '0 STEW....

MY MORE TREASURED ITEMS INCLUDES A PORTABLE (80LB) CAMP STOVE WITH A 3 GALLON STAINLESS STEEL WATER JACKET, TWO SOLAR OVENS, TWO PORTABLE CAMP OVENS THAT I CAN USE TO BAKE FOUR LOAVES OF BREAD ON THE TOP OF THE PORTABLE CAMP STOVE, TWO GERMAN CROSS-CUT TWO MAN SAWS FOR BUCKING LOGS INTO FIRE WOOD AND ALL OF THE TOOLS USED IN "ALONE IN THE WILDERNESS" TO MAKE A MORE PERMANENT SHELTER. THE GOAL IS TO HAVE APPROXIMATELY ENOUGH FOOD FOR UP TO SEVEN YEARS (STARTING SMALL IF YOU ARE NOT THERE YET MAY BE TOO LATE - BUT PRAY ABOUT IT AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELVES FOR YOUR INDIVIDUAL CIRCUMSTANCES). IT MAY BE TIME TO THINK QUITE BIG AND ACT QUICKLY....

DOES IT SOUND LIKE I HAVE TOTALLY FLIPPED OUT?? I WOULD SAY YES. BUT THEN, I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A VERY CONSERVATIVE GAMBLER (READ - NONE) AND I WILL LEAVE THE RISK TO OTHERS WITH MORE NERVES OR STUPIDITY. JUST TO ILLUSTRATE, I LOST A WHOPPING 1% IN THE LAST 2 YEARS OF "DOWN JONES" NIGHTMARE (MOSTLY ON SOME BOEING STOCK...), WHILE MOST OF MY COMPADRES LOST ON THE ORDER OF 40%. THIS IS PRECISELY WHY I STILL HAD SOMETHING LEFT TO INVEST IN A FEW TANGIBLES....

LIKE I HAVE BEEN ASKING PEOPLE LATELY, "HOW IS YOUR FOOD STORAGE?". I HAVE FINALLY PUT MY MONEY WHERE MY MOUTH IS AND MADE BETTER THAN MY USUAL RESPONSE OF "YEAH, I PROBABLY HAVE AROUND 3 MONTHS WORTH...".

MY GREATEST MOTIVATION IS HAVING SEEN SUFFERING CHILDREN IN BRAZIL. I DO NOT WANT TO PUT MY OWN IN THAT SITUATION DUE TO MY OWN LACK OF CONCERN. I CANNOT THINK OF A GREATER PERSONAL HELL THAN WATCHING MY OWN PROGENY SUFFER - WHEN I COULD HAVE HEEDED THE SIMPLE WHISPERINGS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND JUST GOOD OLD FASHIONED COMMON SENSE.
