THE INSANITY OF RADICAL FEMINISM

Usually, I do not post this kind of stuff, but it rings a bell with me as I see the attitudes of the younger generation that I work with:

The Unexpected Pregnancy





In 2007, Mia Sardella, then an 18-year-old honor student at Drexel University, secretly gave birth and left the infant to die in the trunk of a car. No one – not even her friends or her divorced parents – knew she was pregnant. Sardella, the granddaughter of a prominent financial executive, may seem an evil woman, but I think she was temporarily insane, a victim of profound cultural dissonance.

Young women today are fed the constant message that sex is natural and simple. They inhabit an intensely erotic world. Despite the widespread availability of contraceptives, adolescents are careless and no matter how enlightened sex education is, this carelessness is quite normal in a young virgin. Some of these deceived girls suddenly face the fact that sex is not so simple; it is all too natural. A small percentage enter a state of such strong denial that they do not tell anyone that they are pregnant and even appear to deny the obvious to themselves. They move through life like automatons. They are the living embodiment of cognitive dissonance on a mass level.

In spite of sexual liberation, in spite of the availability of abortion and government benefits, our society is often heartless to the young unmarried woman who becomes unexpectedly pregnant. In many cases (the more you move up the social scale, the greater the shame appears to be), she feels alone and all the abortion clinics in the world won’t remove this isolation.

In any healthy society, pregnancy for a young unmarried woman under the age of 23 should be viewed as the shared crisis of her family and the family of the father. (It’s an outrage that any young girl should live so independently that adults do not even observe pregnancy.) A pregnancy should be seen as a reflection not just of her, but of her parents and the supervision they have offered her. A woman should not be heaped with criticism, but should be lovingly encouraged to marry or to give up her child for adoption to one of the many infertile couples longing for children. She should also be offered support and help through the aftermath of this decision. But these are her two options. There should be no other options, except for the possibility of her parents taking the child and raising him themselves.

Instead, women are left to have abortions and suffer the shame and remorse on their own. Or, they are given government benefits to help raise their children without fathers, a disaster for them and for the well-being of children. We live in an age of sentimentality and brutal heartlessness. No wonder you often read of these strange cases in which a very young woman whom no one even knew was pregnant gives birth secretly in a bathroom and then discards the child. She is a reflection of her culture, which acknowledges sex but denies its consequences.

At her sentencing hearing, Sardella said that every day she lives with remorse. A jail sentence was appropriate and necessary. But I believe her tears were real.

No sane woman would leave her newborn baby to die. That is the action of a terrified woman ~ terrified to the point of trying to protect herself from something that is very threatening. Our society is dreadfully threatening to women! Feminists are absolutely brutal.

It infuriates me how women are basically ordered by feminists and our feminist society to sleep around and have lots of sex without “hangups” or guilt… and yet when something goes “wrong” such as STDs or an unplanned, unwanted pregnancy, these same women are ostracized and cut out of society ~ by the very people that TOLD them to go and have sex!

There really is no “freedom to choose” because from early girlhood we are told to have sex outside of marriage or else we have “problems.” We are told that being promiscuous will make us happy and liberate us from misery. We are never told both sides of the story and we are never given a chance to hear about chastity until marriage. And there really is no such thing as being “pro-choice” because in order to choose, to exercise choice, one must be fully informed. Women and girls are never fully informed. They are brainwashed and indoctrinated and then THEY are the ones that must endure the pain and hardship of reality while the feminists continue to bray their warped party line and spread their poison without one thought about the women they keep destroying.

Feminism must go. It is a dangerous and destructive ideology.

WHAT IS THE SOURCE OF EXTREMISM IN ANY RELIGION?

With the events erupting over in the Middle East (yet another sign of the times), I have been quite concerned with where things are headed. It appears that extremism is the flavor of the day as regimes are toppled.

What is it that root cause of extremism? It is the exact opposite of what one would expect - which would be a group of people deciding to swing the pendulum to strict obedience to a (religious/secular) law. The exact opposite is actually true. Extremism is bred and fostered in an environment where people are living in gross wickedness and treading all over the very (pious) law that they purport to be living. When people are treading over some socially accepted stricture (in private), the tendency is to over-compensate the public personna to account for the private lack of good principle.

For the modern honor killings (for example), that is an extreme form of punishment likely administered by those who are guilty of the same thing or far worse. In Christ's time, it was likely this very thing that caused Him to begin to delineate the misdeeds of those who were stoning the woman taken in adultery. In Brigham's time, it was likely the mistresses that the powerful in Washington DC were keeping on the side that caused them to lash out against the "immoral" sins of the "backward" people in Utah who were engaging in plural marriage. Of course, this generated one of my favorite quotes by Brigham Young - something to the effect that at least the people in Utah were relatively open about it and their other wive(s) sanctioned the union. Another extreme view taken by some religious circles is the belief that by not having physical union between a man and a woman which was ordained by God in the Garden of Eden, one was somehow more pious in their religious observance. Of course, this decrepit and extreme view has led to widespread buggery in the ranks and caused immense embarrassment for those groups. In the case of the extreme view of the Shakers, their extreme practice led to their very extinction as a group. I am sure the list could go on and on if I continued to take a survey of messed up weirdness in various societies.

I am sure this is why Christ told people to focus on the inner workings of the Spirit and let the outer things be an natural outgrowth of the inner transformation. Truly the letter killeth (and leads to extremism) and the spirit of the law giveth life. The devil's plan is a forced, false and manufactured piety - a thin veneer that dulls and crumbles in its art deco glamour. God's plan should produce a simple, self-inflicted happiness that is contagious and causes others to seek it out for its own merits.

May we all find wisdom to do the right thing for the right reasons and let the light shining from us be a natural thing and not a false and manufactured thing of Babylon.

May moderation with eyes fixed firmly on the goal of a Zion society of love and mutual interest be attained by those who love the truth so that we do not have to endure institutional hypocrisy that is the devil's legacy.

CHASTITY BEFORE MARRIAGE MAKES FOR A BETTER RELATIONSHIP - NO DUH!

I have a work friend who is divorced and has found another woman he is really compatible with (who is currently divorcing her husband).

He is afraid of marriage because of the heck he went through the last time around. I mentioned that if he wanted this marriage to go the distance, he would have to wait until he was married to engage in relations with his new-found sweetie. I thought he would laugh me out of the room - but he is a good man (one of the best fathers I have seen) and took me half way seriously. I pointed out that the respect between two people that love each other is magnified when they work together in a joint manner toward the goal of becoming one flesh on the wedding night - and not sooner. Trust is built and the very basic concept of having to work together towards a goal that is difficult (especially once you have been married and have already "opened Pandora's box") helps the couple develop unselfishness and that crucial sense of team work necessary for a happy marriage. Most people scoff at this concept - but I know it to be real and effective.

THE CREATIVE AND PROCREATIVE POWERS OF HEAVEN

I have been preoccupied in the extreme with other pursuits (that will put me a leg up if things get dicey this November), but have started to get back into my normal groove of blogging again, now that my preparations are in order.

This is a letter from a father to a son who was serving a mission. I really thought it was a great encapsulation of the doctrine of how this earth and we as humans came to be (including that controversial Adam-God doctrine - its spelled out in there, look for it).

THE LAW OF CHASTITY - ABORTION AND MENTAL HEALTH EFFECTS

For as passionate as I am about this topic, it is surprising that I have not had an entry up until now as part of my "Chastity Makes Sense" series of topics. I do plan on doing one on the ABCs of abortion - or the Abortion to Breast Cancer link at some point in the future. This one, however, deals with the extreme mental and emotional effects that abortions have on the women who get involved with them.

I AM GETTING SICK OF THE POLITICALLY/SOCIALLY ALLOWABLE SLAMS AGAINST THE HUMBLE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST WHO DO NOT NATURALLY REVILE AND FIGHT BACK, BUT WHO WILL TAKE THIS KIND OF GARBAGE BECAUSE WE ARE ASKED TO TURN THE OTHER CHEEK WHEN ATTACKED. Planned Parenthood's "gift" certificates

Planned Parenthood, which in past years has promoted a "Choice on Earth" abortion campaigns during the Christmas season, has a new outreach, offering Christmas gift certificates to be used for abortions.

"It is difficult to think of a more tasteless, ghoulish thing to give anyone. I refuse to refer to these financial instruments as gifts as they are nothing more than a legal way to put a hit out on someone," said a participant in a forum at the online Lone Star Times, where the plan was reported.

"Planned Parenthood, this generation's King Herod, you know, the guy who ordered the mass slaughter of babies when Jesus was born," added WND columnist Jill Stanek, who also documented the plan on her blog.

According to the Lone Star Times, the nation's leading player in the abortion industry is "celebrating the most important crisis pregnancy of all time by selling gift certificates, perfect for the woman who has everything but moral fiber … And it's so much easier than finding the perfect 'Baby's First Christmas' ornament."

According to WISH-TV in Indianapolis, the controversial plan has people talking.

"People are making really tough decisions about putting gas in their car and food on their table, so we know that many women especially put healthcare at the bottom of their list to do," Chrystal Struben-Hall, an official for the abortion business, told the station.

The report said the certificates come in $25 increments and can be used for everything from birth control to $58 examinations that include breast exams and pap tests.

"They can be seen for sexually transmitted disease screenings, HIV tests and general prostate exams and those kinds of things," said Struben-Hall.

But can they be used for abortions?

Of course, Struben-Hall said. "We decided not to put restrictions on."

Stanek has campaigned to alert the American public of President-elect Barack Obama's extreme pro-abortion position. In fact, Obama considered partial birth abortion a "legitimate medical procedure" and opposed a requirement that abortionists provide life-preserving care for infants who survive abortion attempts, because of the burden it would impose on the abortionist.

On the Lone Star Times forums page, the reactions ranged from horror, to, well, horror:

"Redeem this at Planned Parenthood. No other redemption possible. Ever."


"I cannot think of a more evil organization."


"What a marvelous way for the donor as well as the recipient-user to have blood on their hands."


"No matter what you believe about abortions this has GOT to disgust people that you would 'give' that kind of thing as a gift to someone!?? I mean WHO would you give it to??? 'Here best friend in case you ever need an abortion.'"


"I met a woman once who CELEBRATED her abortion because she was 'happy that no MAN could tell her what to do with her body.' It was all I could do to walk away silently without puking in her face. She's the kind of person that would give all the women she knew one of these gift death certificates.
WND has reported Planned Parenthood's various "Choice on Earth" campaigns at Christmas.

One promotion included a "holiday" card that said, "'Tis the season to share with family, friends, colleagues and loved ones the message of 'choice on earth.'"

At that time Jim Sedlak, executive director of American Life League's STOPP International, slammed Planned Parenthood.

"In its continual attempt to 'normalize' abortion, Planned Parenthood has once again chosen to offend the Christian community by releasing the latest edition of its 'Choice on Earth' holiday cards," said Sedlak in a statement. "Contrary to the open-minded image the abortion organization aims to present for itself, Planned Parenthood has zero tolerance for anyone – or any religious group – that recognizes abortion as an evil act that kills a pre-born baby."

The controversial theme is derived from a passage in the Gospel of Luke, where an angel announces to shepherds the birth of their savior in Bethlehem.

The King James version of the Bible states: "And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.'"

"By replacing 'peace' with 'choice,' or more accurately, 'killing the innocent on earth,' Planned Parenthood is essentially saying 'abortion on earth,'" Sedlak said. "This blatant mockery of Christian values – and of Christ Himself – truly demonstrates the bigoted, anti-religion, anti-God nature of Planned Parenthood."

WND reported during the 2008 presidential election campaign when Obama's team struck out at an abortion survivor.

It happened when an Obama advertisement implied the abortion survivor was part of a "sleazy" campaign for promoting a "despicable lie" about the senator's voting record.

Abortion survivor Gianna Jessen's responded, "I've dealt with worse; I survived an abortion."

As WND reported, the 31-year-old Jessen, who was born alive following her mother's botched abortion, made a television advertisement highlighting Obama's votes against born-alive infant protection bills while he was serving as a state senator in Illinois.

The Obama campaign responded with an advertisement of its own labeling Sen. John McCain's campaign ads as "sleazy" and "truly vile," while showing clips from Jessen's ad in the background, including a photo of Jessen.

Jessen then created another commercial in response, opening with clips of the Obama campaign's ad, which she says amounted to a personal attack.

"Seen this ad? In it, Senator Obama personally attacks me," Jessen says in the commercial. "I've dealt with worse; I survived an abortion."

LINK OF MANY CANCERS TO STD VIRUSES

As a committed germ freak and believer in committed monogamous relationships and the law of chastity, this is one of my babies.

THIS IS A TOPIC THAT I HAVE BEEN RUMINATING ON FOR DECADES NOW. WHEN I WAS PREPARING FOR MY MISSION, I WAS READING THE BOOK "TEACHINGS OF THE PROPHET JOSEPH SMITH" (TOPJS), AND I CAME ACROSS THE STORY THAT HE HAD WHILE PREACHING IN PHILADELPHIA, QUOTED HERE:

SO, EVEN THE QUEEN OF SHEBA WILL RISE UP IN CONDEMNATION AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF THAT DAY BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT RECOGNIZE THE GREATEST PERSON (EVEN A GOD) EVER TO WALK THE FACE OF THE EARTH. TRUTH IS MAGNETICALLY ATTRACTED TO TRUTH AND TRUTH REPELS ERROR. APPARENTLY, THERE IS A POLARIZING EFFECT TO SEXUAL SIN THAT CAUSES THE ERRANT PERSON TO BECOME BLIND AND CATEGORICALLY REJECT OBVIOUS TRUTH. THE SON OF GOD POINTED THAT OUT - AND IT IS A PRINCIPLE. JOSEPH SMITH DROVE THE POINT HOME IN HIS DISCOURSES AND I WENT ON MY MISSION EXPECTING TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE SIMILAR IN NATURE.

MY EXPERIENCE;
BRAZIL 1988:

I was a newly-made Zone Leader in Joao Pessoa and was working with Elder Christianson (an excellent artist and servant of God). We were teaching a young family (seven children) about the Joseph Smith story and the Spirit was there in spades. I then turned to the man of the house (cannot remember his name) and asked if he could believe the truth of our statements. He said he could not believe that God could talk to man. I then explained the workings of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22) and that what he was feeling was the Holy Spirit confirming truth to his soul. I knew that he was experiencing that as another scripture came to mind and bore witness to me:

Verily I say unto you, he that is ordained of me and sent forth to preach the word of truth by the Comforter, in the Spirit of truth, doth he preach it by the Spirit of truth or some other way?
18 And if it be by some other way it is not of God.
19 And again, he that receiveth the word of truth, doth he receive it by the Spirit of truth or some other way?
20 If it be some other way it is not of God.
21 Therefore, why is it that ye cannot understand and know, that he that receiveth the word by the Spirit of truth receiveth it as it is preached by the Spirit of truth?
22 Wherefore, he that preacheth and he that receiveth, understand one another, and both are edified and rejoice together.
23 And that which doth not edify is not of God, and is darkness.
24 That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day.

Knowing that they knew the truth, but that the mysterious repelling of truth was at work - just as with the man in Philadelphia, I, to the utter confusion and horror of my companion blurted out "What do you know about the law of chastisty?".

They seemed a little confused, so I asked them to open their scriptures to Matthew 12:39 and to read it (while my companion was kicking away at my leg). They read it and then I explained that they must be in violation of that law - otherwise they would know it and declare that Jesus is the Son of God and that he did indeed appear to Joseph Smith in the spring of 1820, as we were teaching it - and as the Holy Ghost was bearing firm witness. I boldly asked them if they had something they would like to share with us.

They both looked nervously at each other and then asked the kids to leave. I was thinking in my head "Now I've done it". The kids left and they quietly told us that they had been 'living in sin' and had all seven children without ever getting married. I was floored - but then proceeded to let them know that before they could receive a deep and abiding witness of the truths that we were teaching, they would have to get married and then we could proceed. We politely bid them a good evening and left with my companion letting me know his agitation over this.

I on the other hand, was more than satisfied in the principle and was able to use it later in another even more poignant occasion while on my mission.
