It sure does have the potential to do some harm to our little blue orb. My wife feels that many of these kinds of things can happen (for the bad), based on the actions of God's children. In other words, a little nudge here, a little nudge there (in a cosmic sense) spells the difference between disaster or physical salvation. She feels that this may have been the case with Elenin breaking up as it rounded the sun. I can't discount that thinking.....

BLOOD RED MOONS AND JEWISH HIGH HOLY DAYS
I have always put my money (if I were forced to make a guess) on the period of time between 2028/2029 and 2036 as the time that the good stuff will go down. So, knowing that, I thought this was worth posting and it may well tie into the previous post on the comet Apophis coming on Passover in 2036, 21 years after 2015 (BTW, 21 years of earth time is 1/2 hour by way of the reckoning on Kolob where 1000 earth years = 1 day). And lets not forget that Apophis will take a spin around our orb approx seven years before 2036 (see my previous blog piece on Mary Shipton). A BLOOD RED MOON is defined by NASA (click on previous text for link).

Mark Biltz, pastor of El Shaddai Ministries, in Bonner Lake, Washington. Mark Blitz, discovered a pattern of blood red moons and solar eclipses on very significant dates in the Jewish calendar in the coming years, particularly between 2012-2015.
These findings collaborated with the same type of sequences which have taken place on the Jewish calendar in the past which were important events in the history of Israel and the Jewish people.
Moreover, he found that these phenomena have not occurred in previous centuries in the frequency and on the important Jewish feast and Fast days as they have since Israel became a nation and most importantly, in the sequence in which we are going to occur in the next few years and which don't happen again in the whole of this century.
THE PAST PATTERN
The pattern which Mark Blitz saw was four blood-red moons on each of the Jewish feast days one after another in the same year. Looking back, this occurred the last time in 1997-98 and was 2,000 years since the birth of Yeshua the Messiah and 3,000 years anniversary of Jerusalem being established as the city of our King.
* First Day of Passover, April 3, 1996
* First Day of Tabernacles, September 26 1996
* Feast of Purim, March 22-23 1997
* During "Teshuva" (Repentance), on September 16, 1997
In 1967-68 it was tied to the war which was staged against Israel by Egypt and Jordan in which Jerusalem came back into Israel's jurisdiction once again.
The Six-Day War — 1967
* First Day of Passover, April 24, 1967
* First Day of Sukkot, Oct. 18, 1967
* First Day of Passover. April 13, 1968
* First Day of Sukkoth, Oct. 6, 1968
The previous time to that was in 1948-1950 which was the period of time after Israel became a nation when the Arab States waged warfare against her and tried to destroy the newly born nation.
The War of Independence — 1948

* Sukkoth, Oct. 7, 1949
* Passover, April 2, 1950
* Sukkoth, Sept. 26, 1950
Before that there were no astronomical back-to-back blood-red moon events in the 1800s, the 1700s or the 1600s. In the 1500s, there were six, but none of those fell on Passover and Sukkot.
The next set of blood-red moons going back in time were at the time of the Spanish Inquisition in its final year 1492, when the Alhambra Decree ordered all remaining Jews who would not convert to Christianity to leave Spain, where there were three of these occurrences.
Altogether, this occurrence of back-to-back blood-red moons has occurred seven times since 1 A.D. on some of the most significant days in Jewish history. In all of these examples, the eclipses have fallen on the first day of the feasts of Passover and Sukkot.
Note that total eclipses of a blood-red moon are rare and for them to fall on Jewish Feast days makes them even more significant.
THE COMING LINE UP OF BLOOD-RED MOONS
In this coming line-up Mark Blitz noted a rare phenomena of four consecutive total lunar eclipses, known as a "tetrad" (i.e. a group of four). He says during this century, tetrads occur at least six times, but what’s interesting is that the only string of four consecutive blood moons that coincide with God’s holy days of Passover in the spring and the autumn’s Feast of Tabernacles (also called Sukkot) occurs between 2014 and 2015 on today’s Gregorian calendar. This had also been the case in 1948-50 and 1967-68 and 1997-8.
Other interesting facts
* Passover is the first annual feast
* Sukkoth is the seventh and final annual feast
* The next seven year cycle in the Biblical calendar begins on Rosh Hashanah (1st Tishri) on Sept. 30, 2008, and ends on Rosh Hashanah on Sept. 13-14, 2015.
The Biblical calendar is set up in a seven year cycle wherein the seventh year is a sabbath year.
* The sabbatical year (the seventh year) in the seven-year cycle begins on Rosh Hashanah on Sept. 25, 2014, and ends on Rosh Hashanah on September 13-14, 2015 — the day of a partial solar eclipse.
So the Sabbatical year itself is earmarked with four blood-red moons, being concluded with the fourth on Rosh Hashanah and a solar eclipse on the same day - September 13-14, 2015.
This is the what will occur in 2014–2015

And then on the Feasts in 2015 itself:
* Blood-red moon on Rosh Hashanah or The Feast of Trumpets, September 13-14
* Solar eclipse on Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles), September 13-14
* Blood-red moon on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), September 23
* Blood-red moon on Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles), September 28
Note. that this includes two solar eclipses, one on the first day of the Hebrew year in 2015 and the next on the high holy day of Rosh Hashanah/Feast of Trumpets 2015, the first day of the seventh Hebrew month.
Both of these take place in the 2014-2015 year.
The two Solar eclipses connected with the Holy Days in 2014-2015 are:
Adar 29/Nisan 1(new year) March 20, 2015
Feast of Trumpets September 13, 2015
Mark Biltz says, “You have the religious year beginning with the total solar eclipse, two weeks later a total lunar eclipse on Passover, and then the civil year beginning with the solar eclipse followed two weeks later by another total blood red moon on the Feast of Sukkot all in 2015.”
“The fact that it doesn’t happen again in this century I think is very significant,” Biltz explains.
Writing about the amazing discovery in the May 2008 issue of Prophecy in the News, J. R. Church declares, “This is most unusual. It is a rare occurrence for four lunar cycles on successive Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) observances. It will not happen again for hundreds of years.”
With this amazing sequence, we need to keep in mind Joel's prophecy, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come." Joel 2:31
The ancient Jewish calendar only went to the year 5775, counting from creation.
It has been reckoned that the Rabbis reconciled the calendar after Yeshua's death to conceal the fulfillment of Daniel's 70 year prophecy as pertianing to Him as the Messiah.
In doing this their calendar is said to be 240 years out.
On this basis, adding 240 years would bring their calculations to 6015 which parallels our dating system for the year 2015.
Considering the fact that the Rabbis understood that there would be a 1,000 year milleniun to follow this age totalling 7,000 years for mankind on this earth, the end of their calendar does not indicate the end of the world as some might think as the Mayan calendar seems to indicate.
When the Mayan calendar is adjusted to the Jewish calendar, the end date comes to 2015 and not 2012. The Mayans, Aztecs and the Chinese calendars all finish on the same time.
However, they lack the illumination of the revealed will of Almighty God as given in the scriptures upon which the Jewish calculations are made.
We have seven "days" of 1,000 years before this earth is dissolved to create a new heaven and a new earth. Praise His Name! (Baruch HaShem).

COMET APOPHIS AND THE RETURN OF CHRIST - COINCIDENCE OF A JEWISH HIGH HOLY DAY AND A METEORIC NEAR MISS
VIEW OF THE SERPENT APOPHIS - EGYPTIAN GOD OF CHAOS THAT BRINGS DARKNESS TO THE WORLD
This is a work in progress, but I have been reading alot of material of how major earth events have always correlated to the High Holy Days from the likes of Larson and COHEN.
If you look at this CHART [click on link], the nearest miss the earth has ever had with an object is going to happen in 2029 plus or minus a few years, the date I have predicted for decades now that will coincide with the "big one" that Mary Shipton and others have referenced. When reading the link on Mary Shipton, please note how she says that it will fly by and cause some bad juju and then come back for a bigger helping of seconds on (of all days), Friday 13th, 2036. I can't help but think the two asteroid visits are related to the same meteor/comet. Here are the words themselves from the Mary Shipton link on this blog:

It appears that this may be similar to Wormwood talked about in Revelations. Wormwood will poison 1/3 of the waters and generally kill 1/3 of beast and man - and this thing is spewing out tons of cyanide gas. Sounds like this may be bad juju!! I have a feeling there may be a connection..... You be the judge with the Spirit as your guide.
We have been so interested in this NEO that we just recently got a close up pic by a spacecraft that we sent up to check it out and to find out that it is spewing millions of tons of cyanide gas into space as it cruises by (sounds more like a comet than a traditional meteor (space rock). Without sounding too conspiracy-minded, it should be obvious to anyone that the powers that be do not tell us 'unintelligent' people everything. I don't think we have been told why we had enough interest in something to blow fractional billions of dollars on just taking a peek of it. Apparently the Russians are talking about using an impact to knock it off its current course - which may actually do more harm than good.
Anyway, I have alot more to post when I get a chance to dig it all up and plug it in.
When it does happen, the Lord has prepared high places where the honest in heart will be gathered together to weather the geological storm. Those will be interesting times - I expect to witness them.

MOTHER MARY SHIPTON'S WORDS TO COME ABOUT?
If you dig through this blog, there is alot of stuff about what is/may be going on in our heavens as we are told to watch for signs in the heavens and in the earth of our Lord's coming. Mother Mary Shipton, an English prophetess from times past had alot to say about a fascinating celestial event that will occur repeatedly. I have been watching this particular celestial development for several years now since they first discovered it (which subsequently spawned a bunch of Hollywood disaster movies).
It appears that life may be imitating art - and oh how it bugs me that Hollywood is taking the lead on anything that is remotely correct - other than proof positive that old scratch exists and is building his wretched kingdom here in defiance of truth and righteousness.

MOSCOW – Russia's space chief said Wednesday his agency will consider sending a spacecraft to a large asteroid to knock it off its path and prevent a possible collision with Earth.
Anatoly Perminov said the space agency will hold a meeting soon to assess a mission to Apophis, telling Golos Rossii radio that it would invite NASA, the European Space Agency, the Chinese space agency and others to join the project once it is finalized.
When the 270-meter (885-foot) asteroid was first discovered in 2004, astronomers estimated the chances of it smashing into Earth in its first flyby in 2029 were as high as 1-in-37.
Further studies ruled out the possibility of an impact in 2029, when the asteroid is expected to come no closer than 18,300 miles (29,450 kilometers) above Earth's surface, but they indicated a small possibility of a hit on subsequent encounters.
In October, NASA lowered the odds that Apophis could hit Earth in 2036 from a 1-in-45,000 as earlier thought to a 1-in-250,000 chance after researchers recalculated the asteroid's path. It said another close encounter in 2068 will involve a 1-in-330,000 chance of impact.
Scientists have long theorized about asteroid deflection strategies. Some have proposed sending a probe to circle around a dangerous asteroid to gradually change its trajectory. Others suggested sending a spacecraft to collide with the asteroid and alter its momentum, or using nuclear weapons to hit it.
Without mentioning NASA findings, Perminov said that he heard from a scientist that Apophis is getting closer and may hit the planet. "I don't remember exactly, but it seems to me it could hit the Earth by 2032," Perminov said.
He wouldn't disclose any details of the project, saying they still need to be worked out. But he said the mission wouldn't require any nuclear explosions.
Hollywood action films "Deep Impact" and "Armageddon," have featured space missions scrambling to avoid catastrophic collisions. In both movies space crews use nuclear bombs in an attempt to prevent collisions.
"Calculations show that it's possible to create a special purpose spacecraft within the time we have, which would help avoid the collision without destroying it (the asteroid) and without detonating any nuclear charges," Perminov said. "The threat of collision can be averted."
"People's lives are at stake. We should pay several hundred million dollars and build a system that would allow to prevent a collision, rather than sit and wait for it to happen and kill hundreds of thousands of people," he added.
Boris Shustov, the director of the Institute of Astronomy under the Russian Academy of Sciences, hailed Perminov's statement as a signal that officials had come to recognize the danger posed by asteroids.
"Apophis is just a symbolic example, there are many other dangerous objects we know little about," he said, according to RIA Novosti news agency.

HERE IS THE BACKGROUND ON MOTHER SHIPTON, FOR REFERENCE:
Ursula Sontheil reputedly was born in 1488 in Norfolk, England. From an early age she exhibited stunning psychic gifts of foresight and prophecy. She was a contemporary of Nostradamus, but, being a woman, was not allowed his level of education and lacked his medical and astrological training and the forbearance of royal friends at court to nurture and protect her. At the ripe old age of 24 she entered a difficult marriage to Toby Shipton.
She correctly predicted the dissolution of the Catholic Church under Henry VIII, the fall of Cardinal Wolsey, the untimely death of Henry’s son Edward VI, the horrific reign of “Bloody” Mary I, and the ascent of Queen Elizabeth to the throne of England. Many of her visions came true with shocking and specific clarity within her own lifetime and then in subsequent centuries as she peered down the corridors of Time to view the fate of Earth and all mankind. She became the feared and revered prophet of Tudor England. Her name was spoken in low, hushed whispers, as if the very mention of her name would bring the disasters she spoke of down upon the head of he that spoke them. She eventually became known to serf and lord alike as Mother Shipton.
Like Nostradamus, to capture the public imagination and most likely to also avoid persecution for the crime of witchcraft, she published her prophecies in rhyme and verse. Still, she saved her penultimate work for her later years just before her death. And so in 1559 she published an epic poem for which she would become best known down through the ages. She died in Clifton, Yorkshire, in 1561, five years before Nostradamus.
This rare collection of Mother Shipton’s prophecies was published thirty years ago. They were found by a woman who painstakingly transcribed them and managed to smuggle them out of the Mitchell Library, in Sydney, Australia (now the State Library of New South Wales). The originals were kept in a locked room, along with many other volumes of prophetic writings deemed unsuitable for viewing by the general public. In light of recent world events these rare verses from Mother Shipton seem to have prophetic indications for our times, but, of course, are open to interpretation. The rest could describe any number of British wars or adventures in the Mid and Far East after that, and the massive expansion of the British Empire under German Queen Victoria Hapsburg. The Afghan, Indian and Boer wars.}

HERE IS THE BACKGROUND ON MOTHER SHIPTON, FOR REFERENCE:
Ursula Sontheil reputedly was born in 1488 in Norfolk, England. From an early age she exhibited stunning psychic gifts of foresight and prophecy. She was a contemporary of Nostradamus, but, being a woman, was not allowed his level of education and lacked his medical and astrological training and the forbearance of royal friends at court to nurture and protect her. At the ripe old age of 24 she entered a difficult marriage to Toby Shipton.
She correctly predicted the dissolution of the Catholic Church under Henry VIII, the fall of Cardinal Wolsey, the untimely death of Henry’s son Edward VI, the horrific reign of “Bloody” Mary I, and the ascent of Queen Elizabeth to the throne of England. Many of her visions came true with shocking and specific clarity within her own lifetime and then in subsequent centuries as she peered down the corridors of Time to view the fate of Earth and all mankind. She became the feared and revered prophet of Tudor England. Her name was spoken in low, hushed whispers, as if the very mention of her name would bring the disasters she spoke of down upon the head of he that spoke them. She eventually became known to serf and lord alike as Mother Shipton.
Like Nostradamus, to capture the public imagination and most likely to also avoid persecution for the crime of witchcraft, she published her prophecies in rhyme and verse. Still, she saved her penultimate work for her later years just before her death. And so in 1559 she published an epic poem for which she would become best known down through the ages. She died in Clifton, Yorkshire, in 1561, five years before Nostradamus.
This rare collection of Mother Shipton’s prophecies was published thirty years ago. They were found by a woman who painstakingly transcribed them and managed to smuggle them out of the Mitchell Library, in Sydney, Australia (now the State Library of New South Wales). The originals were kept in a locked room, along with many other volumes of prophetic writings deemed unsuitable for viewing by the general public. In light of recent world events these rare verses from Mother Shipton seem to have prophetic indications for our times, but, of course, are open to interpretation. My brief interpretations and explanations are in { }:
And now a word, in uncouth rhyme of what shall be in future time:

Then upside down the world shall be And gold found at the root of tree All England’s sons that plough the land Shall oft be seen with Book in hand The poor shall now great wisdom know Great houses stand in far flung vale All covered o’er with snow and hail.

{The advent of the printing press and the mass distribution of books, a dearly expensive rarity in her day, seemingly to herald an age of knowledge and enlightenment even for the very poor. But this also leads to the mass migration into festering cites, leaving the great houses of the countryside bare and forlorn.}

A carriage without horse will go, Disaster fill the world with woe. In London, Primrose Hill shall be In center hold a bishops sea.

{Motorcars and trains and their accidents, and the formation of the Church of England by Henry VIII as its sole head.}

Around the world men’s thoughts will fly, Quick as the twinkling of an eye. And water shall great wonders do, How strange, and yet it shall come true.

{Telephone, radio, television and the internet. The building of massive dams and the harnessing of waterfalls, like Niagara, for hydroelectric power which then lights the world.}

Through towering hills proud men shall ride, No horse or ass move by his side. Beneath the water, men shall walk, Shall ride, shall sleep, shall even talk.

{Cities with canyons made of skyscrapers. Submarines, the aqua-lung and SCUBA gear allowing man to work and even live beneath the sea. Aquatic cities in our future, maybe.}

And in the air men shall be seen, In white and black and even green. A great man, shall come and go For prophecy declares it so.

{Modern aircraft. There have been many great men since Mother Shipton’s time. But she points to a great prophet that may be yet to come.}

In water, iron then shall float As easy as a wooden boat. Gold shall be seen in stream and stone, In land that is yet unknown.

{Ships made of iron and steel and probably a description of America and its wealth. Certainly an accurate description of California in the Gold Rush days.}

And England shall admit a Jew, Do you think this strange? But it is true! The Jew that once was led in scorn, Shall of a Christian then be born.

A house of glass shall come to pass, In England. But alas, alas!
A war will follow with the work Where dwells the pagan and the Turk.

{Describes the building of a gigantic glass atrium in London called The Crystal Palace for The Great Exhibition of 1851. It was a huge iron Goliath with a million feet of glass housing over 13,000 exhibits. It was destroyed by fire November 30, 1936. The rest could describe any number of British wars or adventures in the Mid and Far East after that, and the massive expansion of the British Empire under German Queen Victoria Hapsburg. The Afghan, Indian and Boer wars.}

These states will lock in fiercest strife, And seek to take each other’s life. When north shall thus divide the south An eagle build in lion’s mouth Then tax and blood and cruel war Shall come to every humble door.

{Probably describes a war between the Northern & Southern countries as above, describing joint US (Eagle) and British (Lion) forces. It could also allude to the American Civil War.}

Three times shall lovely sunny France Be led to play a bloody dance. Before the people shall be free Three tyrant rulers shall she see.

Three rulers in succession be Each springs from different dynasty. Then when the fiercest strife is done.

And roaring monsters with men atop, Does seem to eat the verdant crop. And men shall fly as birds do now, And give away the horse and plow.

They’ll be a sign for all to see Be sure that it will certain be.

Then love shall die and marriage cease And nations wane as babes decrease.

{Failure of marriages and divorce. Decrease in population (in Europe) and wholesale abortion in America. Could be a future time when birth rates plummet due to radiation, earth changes or volcanic ash.}

And wives shall fondle cats and dogs And men live much the same as hogs.
{Sounds like a very female point of view here!}
Mother Shipton’s next prophecies continue on the outer wrappings of the scrolls.

I know I go, I know I’m free, I know that this will come to be, Secreted this, for this will be Found by later dynasty.

A dairy maid, a bonnie lass, Shall kick this tome as she does pass And five generations she shall breed Before one male child does learn to read.

{For five generations these scrolls will be held by a family of a girl and then the fifth generation male child will learn to read and understand them.}

This is then held year by year, Till an iron monster trembling fear, Eats parchment, words and quill and ink, And mankind is given time to think.

{Nice description of a printing press, which “eats” papers, “words” and ink. With the burden of manual copying of books removed, this brings about a new age of learning and enlightenment when man can devote more time to thinking.}

And only when this comes to be Will mankind read this prophecy. But one man sweets another’s bain So I shall not have burned in vain.

Mother Shipton’s next set of prophecies are found on a scroll in another jar.

The signs will be there for all to read;
When man shall do most heinous deed Man will ruin kinder lives;
By taking them as to their wives.
And murder foul and brutal deed:
When man will only think of greed.
And man shall walk as if asleep;
He does not look - he may not peep And iron men the tail shall do;
And iron cart and carriage too.

The king shall false promise make;
And talk just for talking’s sake.
And nations plan horrific war;
The like as never seen before.
And taxes rise and lively down;
And nations wear perpetual frown.

Yet greater sign there be to see;
As man nears latter century.
Three sleeping mountains gather breath, And spew out mud, ice and death. An earthquake swallow town and town;
In lands as yet to me unknown. And Christian one fights Christian two And nations sigh, yet nothing do. And yellow men great power gain;
From a mighty bear with whom they’ve lain.

An ague, leaving many dead.

The truth of this true prophecy.

Mother Shipton’s last prophecy:

In nineteen hundred and twenty-six Build houses light of straw and sticks. For then shall mighty wars be planned And fire and swords shall sweep the land.

When pictures seem alive with movements free, When boats like fishes swim beneath the sea. When men like birds shall scour the sky. Then half the world, deep drenched in blood shall die.

The following are prophecies on our future:

For those who live the century through In fear and trembling this shall do. Flee to the mountains and the dens To bog and forest and wild fens.

A fiery dragon will cross the sky Six times before the earth shall die. Mankind will tremble and frightened be For the six heralds in this prophecy.

In the last 20 years alone we have seen at least four spectacular comets or “fiery dragons”: Halley’s, Kahoutek (a bit of a dud), Hyakutake and Hale-Bopp. But it appears here that she is referring to a SINGLE OBJECT that grazes the atmosphere before a collision, like the near asteroid miss we had last week, looping around us six times over seven days before a collision with Earth.}

For seven days and seven nights Man will watch this awesome sight. The tides will rise beyond their ken. To bite away the shores and then The mountains will begin to roar And earthquakes split the plain to shore.

His masked smile, his false grandeur, Will serve the gods their anger stir And they will send the dragon back To light the sky—his tail will crack. Upon the earth and rend the earth And man shall flee, king, lord and serf.

But slowly they are routed out To seek diminishing water spout And men will die of thirst before The oceans rise to mount to the shore. And lands will crack and rend anew Do you think it strange? It will come true!

But not on land already there, But on ocean beds, stark, dry and bare.

{Survivors start a new civilization, not on lands which are poisoned due to war and nuclear radiation but on lands rising out of the sea after the Great Tribulation.}

Not every soul on earth will die, As the dragon’s tail goes sweeping by, Not every land on earth will sink, But these will wallow in stench and stink, Of rotting bodies of beast and man, Of vegetation crisped on land.

But the land that rises from the sea Will be dry and clean and soft and free. Of mankind’s dirt and therefore be, The source of man’s new dynasty. And those that live will ever fear The dragon’s tail for many year But time erases memory You think it strange? But it will be!

And before the race is built anew, A silver serpent comes to view And spew out men of like unknown. To mingle with the earth now grown Cold from its heat and these men can Enlighten the minds of future man. To intermingle and show them how To live and love and thus endow The children with the second sight A natural thing so that they might Grow graceful, humble and when they do The Golden Age will start anew.
