Various Prophecies From Bishop John Koyle, Early 1900’s*
*Out of the 100+ bullet points given, many are purposefully left out. This is because many of his prophecies have to do with a vision he had concerning a mine in the Spanish Fork Canyon full of Nephite Gold that will come forth in a coming day to save the Church from financial ruin. Also, it’s possible that whoever actually recorded these dreams/visions were antagonistic towards the Church. Hence, many bullet points have been specifically left out because they are related to either the mine (which is presently irrelevant) or antagonistic towards Church authorities. The only one that seems most accurate is #48 because is seems to allude to the deaths of Elder Scott, Elder Perry, and President Packer, all dying within just a few months of each other.
5. Trucks looking like boxcars would be running up and down the roads.
6. The Church would build a 34-story office building in the heart of New York City
7. The United States would commence selling wheat to its greatest enemy.
8. The Republican elephant would be in power. At an election, it would sink to its knees, never to rise again.
9. Weather pattern changes would be seen to the far south-west. Drought would proceed northward year by year increasing in intensity until reaching the valleys of Utah. At that time the troubles were to start in the valleys. The drought would then head east, increasing in intensity.
24. Something will cause the Church welfare program to be inadequate at the end.
26. At the end things will happen so fast that a person will not be able to tell what is to occur first.
33. The U.S. Government will keep propping up the economy as if it were on stilts, until finally it would suddenly collapse overnight.
34. Taxes will become oppressive and almost impossible to pay.
35. The mining industry will attempt to again become operational. but, before they get going, and the mines can do any good
for the economy, the crash will come.
36. There will be a setting in order: first the mine, then the Church, then the state, then the nation. They will be brought up short like a wild colt at the snubbing post.
37. The Church is to be set in order just after an April conference.
47. Troubles in the valleys for the Church will commence following the passing of the 12th president of the Church (Pres. Kimball).
48. Near the time of the end, many of the General Authorities will become quite old. Troubles will start when three leaders will die in close proximity to one another.
49. In the end there will be a great apostasy in the Church. A rift in leadership will cause many members to leave.
Something will happen to make members congregate in and around the churches, and at various other locations to discuss and ponder the great disturbing changes occurring. This will mark the commencement of the time of problems for the Church, as well as the time of apostasy.
56. There will be little or no electricity. Lanterns will be back in use.
57. Streetcars and buses will no longer be running in Salt Lake City.
58. When the drought comes, one will notice dry, hot winds when the winter wheat is in the milk stage of kernel
development. The first year of drought will reduce the winter wheat crop by 25%. The second year the wheat crop will be reduced by 50%. The third year the wheat crop will be reduced by 75%, and will not be fit for anything but cattle feed. The mine must purchase its wheat from the second year's crop, i.e., within the year following the second year harvest and before the third year harvest.
62. The rich will grow richer and the poor poorer, until many will be blue in the face with hunger
63. There will be very little gasoline.
70. Taxes will be impossibly oppressive. But the government will collapse following the mine coming in, but before the next tax collection time. Tax is not to be taken out of the Lord's values.
75. There will be a harsh winter at the end of which the maple or oak leaves will open like a mouse's ear.

85. The leaders of the nation will be blown out of office as if by a whirlwind. They will hide fearing for their lives.

-These low clouds are indicative of the “time appointed by the Lord when the wicked shall not stand and they shall be destroyed, indicating the Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord.”

-These low clouds come down over hills and move w/ the wind, causing intervals of dimmer sunshine and cooler temperatures.

-Another planet, in the northeasterly direction, green with vegetation, passes by our earth so closely, that its clouds touches ours, causing it to snow where it touches our earth.
-Many ice capped mountains in the North Pole region, begin melting away, causing vegetation in abundance.

-The Salt Lake Temple halfway under water.
-After the floods subside, the valley is reoccupied.
-The land starts changing, and becomes rich in vegetation, trees, and undergrowth, where previously it was a desert.

-A new airship is created w/o wings or the need for gas.
-Intelligence of many begins to grow exponentially.

COMMERCE CEASES
-Following this, commerce ceases and the economy begins to fail worldwide.
-At first, gold/silver and other items of value can be traded, but in time, loses all value.

4 CITIES ATTACKED WITH DISEASE
-A man walks into a large crowd and drops a jar full of liquid filled with disease.
-People become sick within 2 days of being infected and start dying.
-The disease starts w/ white blisters, dime-size, on the hands, arms, and faces; which develop into white sores, filled with pus, resulting in death just weeks later.
-This happens in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City
-Sees other people develop flu-like symptoms that spread even quicker than the first.
-Disease entails blood coming from nose, mouth, eyes, and ears.
-These 2 diseases become widespread across the U.S. w/ hundreds of thousands infected, and many dying within a short time, sometimes within 24 hours.
MARAUDING GANGS AND CHAOS
-As the people fight to flee the cities, complete anarchy takes place as looting, rioting, and murders create a complete breakdown of society.
-Many people acting like pure animals, raping, stealing, burning buildings, and murder.
-Electricity fails everywhere in the country, including all communication systems.
-The Middle East experiences the same plagues and diseases that is going on in the U.S.
THE LONG WINTER AND FAMINE
-Following the outbreaks of disease, a very long winter begins early and lasts into the summer months.
-“A famine had begun over the few years leading up to the long winter because of storms, droughts, floods, and other plagues that had taken place…causing the famine to suddenly increase to its full measure.”
***Following the above events ,the following events begin occurring quickly in sequence, one right after the other.
-During and after the long winter, the disease spread in every state and increases I severity.
-Anarchy, in every sense of the word, completely takes over.
-People begin to completely freak out and lose all hope.
-Absolutely no food to be found.
DEADLY WATER
-All the while the disease and winter are spreading and going on, there is very little water. Much of it is contaminated with the disease. Many people drink the water despite danger of catching the disease due to extreme thirst.
-With all of the disease, chaos, anarchy, no food or water, etc going on, an unnatural fear and hatred comes over people, destroying all family ties. Men killing wives and children for water, and vice/versa.
CITIES OF LIGHT AND SAFETY
-With much of the U.S. covered in massive fire and smoke, there are small pockets of light, scattered over the U.S., comprising approximately 20-30 in total, located in the Western part of the U.S., and 3-4 being in the East.
-The people gathered here are united in prayer and love for one another.
-The groups comprise of anywhere to a couple of hundred to many thousands.
-These “cities” had been established before most of the devastations and the people therein are very organized.
-Lots of food had in these cities, and shared among all.
-Simple cities, comprising mainly just tents and blankets.
-The gangs leave these groups alone, focusing on easy targets.
-Many people struggle to reach these cities, bringing only what they can carry.
-Many are abducted by gangs in the process.
-The cities are protected by God.
-The cities are temporary dwellings, and the people would gather to either the mountains or higher places.
NUCLEAR ATTACK
-A nuclear missile, shot by Iranians in the borders of Libya, hits Israel.
-War quickly spreads with country after country firing missiles at each other.
-Nuclear bombs also set off on the ground, that are not in missile form.
-Many nuclear missiles hit various cities all across the U.S.
-Some of these missiles fired from Russia.
-Some nuclear bombs go off on the ground, being hidden in cars and trucks.
-New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City specifically hit with bombs.
-Las Vegas hit with one or more truck bomb.
-Golf ball size fireballs begin falling from the sky, putting everything they touch on fire.
NORTH AMERICA INVADED
-Russian and Chinese troops begin invading the U.S.
-Russians parachute into spots on the East Coast, as well as Utah.
-Chinese troops invade from West Coast, near Los Angeles.
-Met with resistance by survivors of the disease and bombs, but no military help.
-This war is of short duration and both armies are defeated.
(approximately 1 year has taken place from the outbreak of the diseases, etc)
THE EARTH CLEANSES ITSELF
-Among the very heavy, dark and thick smoke that is everywhere, while during a winter (a year later from the previous winter discussed), giant earthquakes begin to take place.
-These begin around Idaho and Wyoming, quickly spreading in every direction.
-A huge earthquake hits Utah and then California.
-California is hit with many earthquakes, being very devastating in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
-These massive earthquakes trigger volcanoes all over the West, with smoke and ash covering much of the sunlight.
-Many coastal cities virtually completely enveloped in water from massive ocean waves.
-Los Angeles nearly swept away.
-Earthquakes in Utah unleash massive amounts of water from underground, covering much of Salt Lake City in 15-20 feet of water.
-This flood of water stretches from Idaho to cedar City, Utah.
-Diseases continue to increase in devastation.
-People dying on their feet.
-One disease starts with red blotches, causing the victim to bleed from every opening and then disintegrate/melt from within.
-Some survivors try to burn the bodies, but because of the smell and massive amount of bodies, most bodies are left ignored on the ground.
FOUR MORE EVENTS
-A huge earthquake in the middle of the U.S. splits the entire country in two pieces (the crack being miles and miles wide) right around the Mississippi river, starting from the Great Lakes and ending in the Gulf of Mexico.
-The Great Lakes become a large, inland sea.
-More large, very big earthquakes take place all over the world.
-Many coastal cities, all over the world, are completely engulfed in water, and make the former earthquakes and flooding pale in comparison.
-A mighty wind arises, greater than any hurricane or tornado, causing many to flee to caves or underground for safety.
-Following the fires, earthquakes, floods, and now this great wind, virtually nothing is left standing anymore and all buildings have been totally knocked over.
-This is caused by terrestrial events in space as a planet-like object comes in close contact to earth, disrupting the tides, seasons, etc.
-The last major event

-War had been raging outside the US and was bad, but wasn’t in the states yet
-Attends a special meeting w/ the Stake Presidency and High Council, along w/ bishops, councilors, doctors and people with military or criminal justice backgrounds.
-Meeting discussed the current breakdown of law and order and coming troubles upon the nation
-The First Presidency and Twelve asked their stake to take in members from Louisiana and Lake Charles, to travel with them to Woodville, Texas, to be organized into groups of 10, 100, 1000, and 10,000.
-Many Saints were gathering together and headed West.
-Large tent cities set up in Evadale, Texas.
-The government slowly starting to collapse, but not completely yet
-Martial Law had been declared
-State and local law enforcement agencies federalized
-Courts suspended
-Europe was in complete war, except for England. Many US troops had been deployed to help.
-Troops called back home to help with resistance from Americans against Martial Law

Pre-tribulations (beginning of sorrows):
Warnings, rumors of wars, pandemics, temporary missionary withdrawals, temporary temple closings, small earthquakes in the Utah valley, violence, civil war, corrupt government, secret combinations, disparity in income, types and shadows of past history (especially the BOM), spiritual CO from Babylon.
Start of Events:
1. Dollar Devaluation - (not collapse) but seen as a necessity and triggers a Civil War. (Joseph Smith)(DOZ) Joseph said, "the next great trouble for America"....
2. Civil War in America - Fought mostly in the east coast, started by unions, mass casualties, multitudes move to the Wasatch front, great hastening takes place, 3-5 months for the CW. This harboring of refugees causes the government to go after the Saints for 5 months of persecution. Many leave the church it is so oppressive. (Woe #1)
3. Civil War rebuild, Democrat party silenced, Government to go back to the gold standard, schools privatized, etc., New plagues released (white blisters, fear, and Ebola type 3 months apart)
4. The missionaries are called home permanently, 3 months of calamities, earthquakes, tsunamis, comet, etc., the president is removed to make way for the New World Order. (See Book of Esdra.)
5. The call to places of safety will happen 1 month before the Ebola-type plague, 9 months after the white blisters. It is spread by crop dusting cities, quick death, spreads worldwide. (See Dream of Plagues) After the records of the church are moved, all gangs and marauders will take over every city, SLC being the last within 3 weeks after the president is removed
6. Approximately 8 months after the CO, the Utah earthquake hits. It is off the Richter scale. Massive casualties, renders the valleys unusable for over a year with water receding and dams broken. WWIII starts about this time in the Pacific Ocean. WWIII will be 13 months before Armageddon starts.
7. Calls are made to go to New Jerusalem. (Already started and prepped for arrivals) Many are given the gift of translation to make the journey. America is invaded by China and Russia. Boys from the Mountains stop their advancement to Colorado. There is a remnant of government left for the NWO, but most territories are taken over by militias, gangs, etc., and there is no travel between cities. Famine in full swing.
8. Two Prophets are called from New Jerusalem to go to help with Armageddon. They will be there 1,260 days to hold off the world's army until the Savior shows up with the 144k to destroy the army.
9. The 10 Tribes are starting to arrive. They help stop the gangs and the invasion. They help to get the called saints traveling to New Jerusalem to get there safely.
10. Once New Jerusalem is near finished, Adam-ondi-Ahman takes place. A large gathering of Saints, the Morning of the First Resurrection, and the Savior meet then prepare to head over to Israel to rescue the Jews. We will rise up to meet the Savior when he comes. We will help the Jews to restore/build their 3rd temple and prepare them for the Second Coming. If this is the "end of the tribulations" there is a total solar eclipse immediately after. The next total is 2024.
11. The Savior leaves for a short season (1-2 years), the 7th vial is poured (destruction of the remaining wicked, the AC and his followers are thrown into the pit), Rev 15 says the temples are closed to pour this vial. America is collapsed, large hail stones are sent to kill plants and humans. The Savior returns in all his glory. The Second Resurrection takes place and we usher in the Millennial Reign.
