Look, the rebel, head-lobbing ragheads (no respect here) in Syria have no power without money.
They get their money from oil sales through Turkey (look at a map of the areas they control) and it is corridors thru Iraq and now Syria into Turkey) where the oil is then sold to places like Germany and other parts of Europe. They cannot take the oil south into The Gulf because the US owns those waters outright at this point.
Anyway, this is the reason that Russia will most likely deliver a heavy uppercut to Turkey to knock this crap off....... Also, the Bosporus and Dardanelles will be nice to have so they have a nice unobstructed shot straight into the Black Sea to their major prized warm water port where they have most of their fleet. Control access into the Mediterranean and you control the Russian fleet. While they are at it, they may just go for the archipelago of Greece......
IF Russia controls Syria/Turkey/Greece, then they control any possibility of the Sauds getting their oil and gas via pipeline into Europe, thus releasing the Russian stranglehold on the market there. You have to think how gangsters think - they have their territory and they DO NOT want ANYONE elbowing in on their turf. They are greedy, satanic chumps who want nothing to do with sharing - they would cut off their tongue to spite their mouths. This is what will finally drive the Russians right into Armageddon in the next ELEVEN months.

I think that Turkey will cease to be a country when Russia is finished with it. Hopefully not by Thanksgiving!
