So, some of the buzz about a couple that basically kidnapped (took a minor against his parents' wishes) to Alaska because they were obviously caught up in the fervor of what is going on over in Israel etc, apparently touched on Cardston. I heard rumor they had passed through paradise on their drive north to Alaska, where they were apprehended (not sure what the charges would be for chasing an endtime fantasy - or reality).
Anyway, it was just another attempt (warranted or unwarranted) to make people who believe in any of that stuff look like crazytown ghetto dwellers. The rabid anti's of the Dhellin Show have been doubling down on anyone who believes in the Davidic Servant mentioned in all of the major works other than the PoGP. His role will be to divide up the inheritances in the New and Old Jerusalem (among other things such as setting things in proper order). There is a ton of speculation as to who that will be and exactly what will go on to bring about that reign. Here is a great comment by Arnold about this:

Gaining of knowledge is not the issue, but of discerning truth without blindly accepting the establishment story.
I diverge, but I don't see any great destruction in Israel until the 3rd Temple is built. Joel Skousen's see's a strong potential of a chain of events leading from tit for tat building up to a nuclear event if all Islamic nations corner Israel. Joel sees a logical course of events minus God's management, which no one knows. I suspect we may see Israel actually acquire more land to within the boundries of ancient Israel. That could mean the West. Bank and parts of other Mid east countries.
I have to disagree with Arnold on this. I think we still have a LONG way to go until things start to tie up like the Saints being persecuted in a wholesale manner. I note that a chapel in Elko NV was recently burned to the point that they had to move congregations around while the burned building was being reconstructed. Not sure if it was the temple announcement that brought that on, but there is consistent low-level animus towards the Church being manifested around the world. Not dissimilar to what the Jews are experiencing. The only difference being that the Church just sucks it up and absorbs it...
Here is the timeline that started in 2015:
- three apostles would die in quick succession
- President Monson would die around 18 months later
- Elder Nelson would become the next Prophet
- one of his counselors would be Elder Oaks (all of the above has come about)
- President Nelson does not die a natural death (of old age)
- Elder Holland is one of the two Witnesses that passes away in Jerusalem as the armies of the world descend on Israel
A lot has to happen before the two prophets die (redemption of NJ, return of the lost 10 tribes, 144k, sign of the son of man, the first 6 trumpets of revelation), and like you said those won't happen all at once and there will be time in between. I would think the two prophets would potentially be Ezekiel/John (both translated not resurrected)
ReplyDeleteThe 3 dying in quick succession is a prophecy from Bishop Koyle as a signpost that the mine would shortly be vindicated. Having three die around 2015 is likely not the three Koyle was shown. We can look forward to a future day where three more will die in close succession.

With what you know about Koyle, and how he said all of the leaders in Salt Lake will be replaced, then you should also conclude that NONE of the current LDS leaders will be the two witnesses.
I was also wondering the source on Pres Nelson. I also would like to know, why he thinks Elder Holland is one of the 2 witnesses.
DeleteI remember an older lady we had home taught years ago was unaware of there being two end time periods, the on Jesus comes to cleanse the earth with the following millennium period of peace followed by an ultimate conflict at the end of the 1000 year period by the ultimate ending where Satan and followers are cast off into outer darkness and the remaining folk of earth are judged and provided their respective kingdoms. I thought this was 101 basics. I am not sure what the membership are aware of. I know many are ignorant about the cleansing events upon the American Continent and the establishment of the New Jerusalem, that are prophesied in the BofM, D&C reinforced by JS Jr and others after him. I would hope to see it.
ReplyDeleteI might mention also George Washington's vision experience at Valley Forge that speaks of three great disasters that will come upon the American continent, the third and final would be worse than all the others and the towns and cities would be rebuilt afterwards. So we have much to hope for afterward the hard spot that all are to go through. How this plays out with Revelations, I don't know. I think Revelations can be and not be read as literal. It will only be understood at the time it takes place, or trivialized, or blamed on something else by the general populace with out eyes to see or ears to hear. Think about the stone cut out of the mountain with out hands to roll through out the earth, members of the CofJCofLDS are the only ones to understand that. I see the Mark of the Beast representing those love a lie who will follow the deceptions and lies of the day, they don't have to be forced, or at least until they come upon those who will not join in their one world government. Think about those who joined with BLM and ignored the destruction and deaths and mayhem that some of that group have perpetrated upon this nation most undoubtedly under direction of the Deep State.
Speculation of who the anti-christ is no interest to me, he has no more power or relevance without a culpable populace, that's what worries me. But we have plenty of anti-chirsts all over the government, media, academia, finance and industry to worry about.
