We all should be concerned about the fragility of our civil rights. The pandemic of the moment should be a reminder how quickly those rights can be disregarded, even in a society that claims to venerate them.

In the United States, the present governmental response to the pandemic vis-a-vis our civil rights will be studied by law students in their constitutional law classes for generations to come.

I watched it last night, it was 30 minutes of clips around the country of people fighting the lockdown unsuccessfully and the last few minutes were of a website (sorry I didn't get it) where it discussed scenarios of what the government would do in a pandemic phase, ways to keep people in line with limited freedoms coming out of a pandemic. Made me think of 9/11 when our air travel became a way to scan and grope people. You can see the beginning stages of martial law already being discussed. For example those who flew or drove across Utah borders would receive a text message saying they would need to "declare" who they are, purpose of coming into the state and if they have or ever had COVID19.

This was phase 1.

It was a Rockefeller website, 10 years ago. On a good note it mentioned in 2026 another pandemic in another country (yes, it mentioned China in the first pandemic)... woohoo we get some more time!!!!

As the lighting up of the morning or the dawning of the morning cometh from the east and shineth unto the west—So also is the comeing of the Son of Man. The dawning of the morning makes its appearance in the east and moves along gradualy so also will the comeing of the Son of Man be. it will be small at its first appearance and gradually becomes larger untill every eye shall see it. Shall the Saints understand it Oh yes. Paul says so. Shall the wicked understand Oh no they attribute it to a natural cause. They will probably suppose it is two great comets comeing in contact with each other It will be small at first and will grow larger and larger untill it will be all in a blaze so that every eye shall see it."
