And he said, Go, and tell this people, aHear ye indeed, but bunderstand not; and see ye indeed, but cperceive not.
10 Make the aheart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and bshut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
11 Then said I, Lord, ahow long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,12 And the Lord have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.13 ¶ But yet in it shall be a tenth, and ait shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the bsubstance thereof.
The men will be taken off to fight in the east as well as something that happens in the Pacific. It is a trap by the Russians and the Chinese that is designed to over-run the land while the men are gone.
All of the visions show a time when the women are straggling to get to Zion with little children and what they can carry on their backs.
There will be a great forsaking of the people by the Lord. We have turned our backs on him, now the same thing will happen.
In April Ensign, article from our Prophet "preparing the church for the 2nd coming" here is one paragraph: The time is coming when those who do not obey the Lord will be separated from those who do (see Doctrine and Covenants 86:1–7). Our safest insurance is to continue to be worthy of admission to His holy house. The greatest gift you could give to the Lord is to keep yourself unspotted from the world, worthy to attend His holy house. His gift to you will be the peace and security of knowing that you are worthy to meet Him, whenever that time comes.
