THIS BLOG ATTEMPTS TO SHOW HOW SCIENCE IS CATCHING UP WITH REVEALED RELIGION

THIS BLOG IS AN ATTEMPT TO PUT ALL THE COOL STUFF THAT I BUMP INTO ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST AND EVENTS THAT LEAD UP TO IT INTO ONE LOCATION.
THE CONTENTS WILL BE FROM AN LDS PERSPECTIVE. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ANYTHING IN HERE, I DO NOT PARTICULARLY CARE TO ARGUE, UNLESS YOU CAN ADD TO THIS BODY OF WORK. I HAVE AN OPEN MIND, THAT IS WHY I READ STUFF FROM ALL DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES AND SEEK LEARNING FROM THE BEST BOOKS. I JUST AM NOT HERE TO ARGUE ABOUT IT - BUT TO PUT IT OUT THERE WHERE OTHERS CAN PERUSE/PURSUE IT. I TAKE PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HONEST SEEKERS OF TRUTH AND BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE IS REVEALED RELIGION'S BEST ALLY. YOU WILL SEE ALOT OF TOPICS IN THIS BLOG THAT SHOW SCIENCE BACKING - AND SLOWLY CATCHING UP WITH - REVEALED RELIGION.
ENJOY!!

HOW TO CHARGE A BATTERY IN TROUBLED TIMES

I have a hodge-podge of solar panels and gadgets to charge batteries.  One of them which I just invested in is something that can charge off a modified swamp cooler lowered into a stream or driven direct off a radiator cooling fan in the wind as a windmill:

The problem with charging your own batteries to invert for 120VAC power or using 12VDC LEDs (the best option), is getting all of your inputs to work together to accomplish your goal.  Here is a charge controller that is pretty cheap and seems to have alot of features that would come in handy:

That manual is the perfect "how-to" to get things properly hooked up so you don't fry your valuable components.  I have printed out a few copies and put them in a zip-loc for later use when things are not working as they are now.

I will try and post more information as it comes along.  This is my pet topic - if you have a source of power when things are difficult, you will be popular indeed.....  It becomes a good barter item.
