I have to wonder if they know something we do not:
In recent days, we have learned that the New York Fed is moving a lot of
operations to Chicago because of concerns about what a “natural
disaster” could do.
What kind of natural disaster would be bad
enough to completely shut down the operations of the New York Federal
Reserve Bank? It would have to be something very unusual, and
apparently the New York Fed is very concerned that such an event could
happen. According to Reuters, the New York Fed has been transferring
personnel to Chicago and building up its satellite office there just in
case a “natural disaster” makes it impossible for normal operations to
continue in New York…
------ End news snippet, Begin OP's commentary:
Let's cut to the chase: They aren't worried about any "natural Disaster" their fear exists over two very real possibilities:
1) The economy collapses, Wall Street and the Banks get wiped out from all the gambling they've done and the population of New York City rises up in insurrection, crushing Wall Street and the Banks for destroying everyone's hopes, dreams and financial assets, OR;
2) The situation between the west and Russia over Ukraine is going to become a LIMITED NUCLEAR WAR and there is a high likelihood that New York City will be among the one or two U.S. cities clobbered by Russian nukes.
In either eventuality, the prospects for us regular folk do not bode well.

I seem to remember Janet Napolitano making some statement about some major catastrophic event on the way when she left office....
ReplyDeleteYES!! I remember her saying that too. Something to the effect of: Not if, but WHEN...Yikes!!
