I JUST AM NOT HERE TO ARGUE ABOUT IT - BUT TO PUT IT OUT THERE WHERE OTHERS CAN PERUSE/PURSUE IT. I TAKE PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HONEST SEEKERS OF TRUTH AND BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE IS REVEALED RELIGION'S BEST ALLY. YOU WILL SEE ALOT OF TOPICS IN THIS BLOG THAT SHOW SCIENCE BACKING - AND SLOWLY CATCHING UP WITH - REVEALED RELIGION.

A TROUBLING DREAM LAST NIGHT

I have always bucked the trend. I have learned to walk against the prevailing winds of the day.

Last night's dream was no different - but it was definitely symbolic of an actual situation.

There were some people at work who were carousing (smoking/drinking/carrying on). They were working with potentially dangerous things )flammable tanker trucks) - but were not following good protocols. I decided I had to part company with them and headed one direction while they headed another in a festive/partying spirit. They had not properly secured their load of tanker trucks as they pulled away with loads of highly flammable fuels including jet fuel, propane, hydrazine, etc.

One valve had not been properly shut and the truck was spewing toxic, flammable liquid everywhere. One truck had a fuel filler hose bouncing along the pavement sparking. The posse of 18 wheelers caught up with each other just as one started to ignite. It caught another one on fire as they both approached the most flammable and explosive truck. I looked back to see the spectacle - just as the initial pressure wave erupted and started to head towards me. I knew I had seconds to take cover. There was only a cement loading dock that I could dive in front of - and hope the pressure wave would go past me as I huddled in the crevice and minimal protection it provided.

I had seen this kind of explosion before - it looked like this:

I awoke with my heart pounding and lay there trying to get back to sleep until I determined I had to write this down.

Definitely symbolic - but it is a portend of the future of some sort.

Perhaps a most symbolic dream....people entrusted with power and responsibility who laugh it off and take risks at the expense of those they serve. Sounds familiar....

But the Latter-day Saints are not in darkness; they are the children of light, although many of us will actually be asleep. We shall have to wake up and trim up our lamps, or we shall not be prepared to enter in; for we shall all slumber and sleep in that day, and some will have gone to sleep from which they will not awake until they awake up in darkness without any oil in their lamps. JOSEPH SMITH SAID THOSE WHO ARE WATCHING AND WAITING, WILL KNOW THE HOUR:

"Christ says no man knoweth the day or the hour when the Son of Man cometh. This is a sweeping argument for sectarianism against Latter day ism. He says then shall they see the Sign of the comeing of the Son of Man in the clouds of Heaven. How are we to see it Ans. As the lighting up of the morning or the dawning of the morning cometh from the east and shineth unto the west—So also is the comeing of the Son of Man. The dawning of the morning makes its appearance in the east and moves along gradualy so also will the comeing of the Son of Man be. it will be small at its first appearance and gradually becomes larger untill every eye shall see it. Shall the Saints understand it Oh yes. Paul says so. Shall the wicked understand Oh no they attribute it to a natural cause.
