This here (from a FB pal), is proof. Sounds like Kevin Stayner is here to stayner, while the guy who found a replacement for his assigned WEEKEND (overtime) duty at the local SLC rainbow fest was fired (no bigotry or double standard there!......):
BTW - that is the LESBIAN mayor, who promoted that jay-walkin copper......Not long until Mormons will be a persecuted minority in the very city they founded. Kind of goes to the parallel nature of Nephite and American histories. The time came in Nephite history when the headquarters of the Nephite church, located in Zarahemla, found itself in the wickedest city in their country. Such seems to be the fate of Salt Lake City, a point I made in my book, "Parallel Histories: the Nephites and the Americans," published 25 years ago. https://www.facebook.com/ParallelHistories2/
There has been a movement in Salt Lake to rid itself of a certain group of people for a long time. Kevin Stayner's promotion to Sgt in the SLCPD is just one more in a long train of this movement. Most everyone has tattoos, no clothing and Miley Cyrus haircuts in Utah. Utah is a sad state - I have even seen tattoos while in the temple on people's hands. It does make you go - "what"!!
ReplyDeleteGood grief. Its a tattoo. They are in the temple, which means they got a recommend and are most likely worthy to be there. Stop judging and worry about your own salvation.
DeleteThis makes me recall words from Brigham Young prophesying that the day would come that SLC would extend to the north and south so far that it would be basically one city extending from Ogden to Provo and that it would be the most wicked city in the world. I probably came nowhere close to quoting it, but that was the basic message. Kinda creeps me out to hear news like this as well as see the city landscape start to fulfill prophesy as well!

While reading another article last fall, I saw a link to this March 20, 2015, article on KSL.com
ReplyDeletehttps://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=960&sid=33908353
"SLC has the 7th-highest percentage of adults who identify as LGBT in nation"
"Salt Lake City has the seventh-highest percentage of adults who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender among the nation's top 50 metropolitan areas."
There's even a graph of the top 10 LGBT population centers, showing SLC as number 7.
When I read this article, Heber C. Kimball's prophesy where it states, "Salt Lake will be classed among the wicked cities of the world" seemed very applicable.
I actually wrote my family a lengthy email last fall in which I cited this prophesy, referenced several articles, and gave some thoughts based on my observations and research.
A time of increased persecution is coming. In the October 2015 General Conference, President Nelson stated that attacks on the Church will increase.
And while persecution is a test, there will be an even bigger test coming "that will try the integrity of the best" of the Saints. It is my opinion that this test will include the invitation to gather (and associated trials that will come with the call-out). And for the majority who choose not to gather their tests may include the brunt of the plagues, foreign invasion, bondage, and the numerous natural calamities which will happen.
It was also interesting that during the October 2015 Conference Elder Ballard quoted from the Proclamation of the family:
"We warn that individuals who violate covenants of chastity, who abuse spouse or offspring, or who fail to fulfill family responsibilities will one day stand accountable before God. Further, we warn that the disintegration of the family will bring upon individuals, communities, and nations the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets." (https://www.lds.org/topics/family-proclamation?lang=eng&cid=PA0414-02).
I haven't read from any church authority that SLC will be the wickedest city on earth, but it does make sense. Where the righteous reside there there will undoubtedly be wicked round about to oppose. Utah is the worst place in the nation for mental health. They treat you for anything here and they treat you to death. There are a lot of spiritually twisted Mormons preaching about Jesus on Sunday but secretly siding with the "let's stuff the homeless" club. These people know the truth and are rejecting it, they are walking in darkness in the light of day. So I guess SLC has both the best and the worst.
ReplyDeleteRight now I think there are more wicked places than SLC though. For instance, Denver, CO.
