THIS BLOG ATTEMPTS TO SHOW HOW SCIENCE IS CATCHING UP WITH REVEALED RELIGION

THIS BLOG IS AN ATTEMPT TO PUT ALL THE COOL STUFF THAT I BUMP INTO ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST AND EVENTS THAT LEAD UP TO IT INTO ONE LOCATION.
THE CONTENTS WILL BE FROM AN LDS PERSPECTIVE. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ANYTHING IN HERE, I DO NOT PARTICULARLY CARE TO ARGUE, UNLESS YOU CAN ADD TO THIS BODY OF WORK. I HAVE AN OPEN MIND, THAT IS WHY I READ STUFF FROM ALL DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES AND SEEK LEARNING FROM THE BEST BOOKS. I JUST AM NOT HERE TO ARGUE ABOUT IT - BUT TO PUT IT OUT THERE WHERE OTHERS CAN PERUSE/PURSUE IT. I TAKE PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HONEST SEEKERS OF TRUTH AND BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE IS REVEALED RELIGION'S BEST ALLY. YOU WILL SEE ALOT OF TOPICS IN THIS BLOG THAT SHOW SCIENCE BACKING - AND SLOWLY CATCHING UP WITH - REVEALED RELIGION.

MANNAH - THE MEANING AND A FRESH PERSPECTIVE ON LOOKING AT THE MIRACLES IN OUR LIVES

I got this off of FB.  Most of the good stuff on this blog I get from really cool people that I am privileged to associate with either directly - or indirectly (in the electronic world).

Thanks be to God for the miracle of association with others of the same like mind.  The world would be a lonely place without good minds, etc

Manna is really two Hebrew words: mah and nah. It literally means, What is it? They called it manna because they had not idea what it was, What is it? so they named it mahnah. The Israelite had no familiarity or preconception of what manna was. This divine substance was a miracle. Something heavenly, not of this world. Everyone was in awe like a little child being surprised by something new. Should we receive the miracles that occur every day in our lives as if receiving manna? Opening our hearts to the manna of His gospel, His love, His Grace, partaking of this bread of heaven? Because manna not only met their immediate need for food, but pointed to the one who would be the living Bread of life, because He is the substance that fills our souls. Our Mahnah.
