A commenter reader commented that I seem to be "angry" lately...... No more angry than a woman who finds her husband cheating or the bank account holder who finds someone just robbed them blind and left them without their life's savings. We have thuggish freaks in power who are stealing all that is good and right away from us including the assault on marriage which is the most holy institution that God has set up - I call my response to that indignation! That is how I roll when it comes to politics - doing nothing and being apathetic has gotten us where we are now. All of these so-called "public servants" need to go into the fryer and perish. This is how Christ rolls when it comes to those who have done damage to the once-greatest bastion of freedom that was to be the light to the nations; a city on a hill:

Folks, this IS the God that I know. One who is filled will an infinite love, but who will NOT tolerate those who are openly rebellious who cast out those who have been sent to say it as it is. Very harsh penalties are attached to those who reject these words. It does not get more harsh than death and having you and your posterity wiped off the human record. It is all about passing along your seed from one generation to the next. The crowning promise given to Abraham after receiving what would be his Calling and Election was the promise that his posterity would be as numerous as the sands of the sea. Even with all earthly posterity accounted for - even if you were to count all that ever traversed the face of the earth from Adam to now - you could not reach that number. This promise went to those who will come through the eternities through the temple blessings and promises of an eternal increase. When you fritter away your salvation for a mess of pottage by disobedience, you abdicate that promise that your posterity will increase. Your progress, including that glory that becomes yours through your increase, ceases and you are left with no branch. When you are not tied to the promises that your fathers obtained, you lose your root; thus, you are left with neither root, nor branch. Is that harsh? I think not - as the God of Love has declared it to be so. It is simple fact that the rebellious and disobedient must not go on. It would spoil the eternities and God would cease to be God, if it were any other way. That happened to be the d'evil's plan - to allow the "trash" into the kingdom and spoil it all for everyone. God is an exclusivist - whether you like it or not. That exclusivism is based on values. Adopt God's value set and confess that His ways are just, or hit the road, Jack! People that are the non-engineer types (the "touchy-feelies", as I call them), really struggle immensely with this. They think things are never fair and are usually of the politically correct crowd. Listen,I get a "kick" out of your comments as well. For the most part you are right on track. I may have a bit more knowledge then you on some aspects of how God feels about the wicked. I have studied extensively the teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith as well as subsequent Prophets. I attend the temple regularly and fast and pray on a more then regular basis. My Gift of the Spirit is that I have been blessed with an empathy and compassion for others far beyond many others. I absolutely concur that God will wipe the wicked off the face of this planet. I am well aware that my oldest son will most likely be among that group of people because of the choices he is making in his life, living with his girlfriend, smoking pot,denying God etc... the list goes on. I do however also know that when he was a small boy we called him our little prophet because he was that good and that spiritually wise beyond his years. Then a funny thing happened and at the age of 10 he contracted meningitis that effected his brain tissue lining. After his recovery he went on a downward spiral where he could no longer focus on tasks for a long time at school among many other symptoms. He became withdrawn and then the bullying started. Taunted, punching and kicking him when he was on the ground was his lot. I thought I would literally die of a broken heart. I wont go further with details but let me just say that it was bad, very bad. So yes, he became angry. Many members in our ward, mainly scout leaders and the boys his age were absolutely terrible to him. He just recently asked me to forgive them because he has. I give you this example because I know that when we are emotionally and physically not well the adversary will take that opportunity to work on you. I am sad everyday that my son was not strong enough. He is now 24 and still struggling. Just so you know,I am a wife, a mother of five children, a laurels adviser, a prepper, a full tithe payer, temple goer, and humanitarian. I am also your late night "Troll." I am up that late generally because I have been reading scriptures, praying, and sometimes sobbing in my closet with my hand over my mouth so no one can hear. You do not know the background stories of all the wicked people you are talking about. That is why we are not allowed to judge. Only God has that priviledge. Sin is sin and wickedness is wickedness, but we can leave that to the Almighty to work through. Death is not the worst thing that can happen to the wicked. Sometimes it is a gift. Then they can be taught on the other side without the influence of the adversary and free from the bonds that have restricted on this planet. Some really are just wicked to the core, others just have been dealt a really bad hand and will have mercy. I won't go to deep with my revelations or understanding, but just so you know, you don't have it all right. I am done commenting so you can rest at ease.
