I told the story about the week my dad had his stroke that led to his death.
I spent several evenings in the temple pleading for his life (if it was to be the Lord's will). I think it was Thursday night, I was actually in the temple and I got a sad feeling and this song started to play over and over in my mind and never stopped until he died:

At that point, my dad's condition started to worsen until he passed a few days later on Saturday. My brother had been to the hospital to give him a blessing and mentioned that he knew then he was not going to leave the hospital alive. Indeed - that was correct.
At the funeral, my brother's son got up and played this song on the piano. I think that when this all kind of gelled that Thursday was the moment the decision was made to bring him over and not have his condition ameliorate.
There seemed to be a break point in the death of my son where several things coalesced about two weeks before his death (it was not going to be me or my dad that was taken at that time).
It will be interesting to get over to the other side and see exactly how things went down in those two instances. In the mean time, I have a goal to be able to play this and sing at some portion of her level of awesomeness!
