I TAKE PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HONEST SEEKERS OF TRUTH AND BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE IS REVEALED RELIGION'S BEST ALLY. Totally off topic. Give me your opinion on "Reiki", energy healing ect.

I commented on a facebook thread about my belief that it is power "of some other way" and was respectfully.... but firmly rebuked for saying so (it was an LDS page btw" i was surpised that not a single person on the thread reinforced the importance of being perfectly aligned with priesthood type healing......

I am wondering if i am way off base here.....

I don't think so. Ham's descendants were cursed with not being able to hold the priesthood. Japhethites more likely. Perhaps even Shemites as they lived in the zone of Nimrod.

I have read in a few places that the Jaredites were possibly descended from Joktan, the brother of Peleg - a direct ancestor of Abraham. Thus they would have had a blood connection to to the Israelites through Shem and Eber.

But the Latter-day Saints are not in darkness; they are the children of light, although many of us will actually be asleep. We shall have to wake up and trim up our lamps, or we shall not be prepared to enter in; for we shall all slumber and sleep in that day, and some will have gone to sleep from which they will not awake until they awake up in darkness without any oil in their lamps.
