THE SLAVES SHALL RISE AGAINST THEIR MASTERS

There are many ways for this to happen. Scotland is showing just one way:

Russia rising against the tyranny of NATO/the USA is but another form of the master's shackles being thrown off.

I doubt I will ever understand why people will not just leave others to be...... Why must some lust after power and control in order that they may get gain? The masters want everyone to fit into a box. This is not God's way. Greatest potential is not achieved in boxes...... Usually, the best solutions are found outside those boxes. Does God still have some requirements for His kingdom? Absolutely - but they do not corner and suffocate, but allow all men to be free. The d'evil's plan does force all into a box and does indeed suffocate - as not one soul is lost.

...You forgot the second half of that quote from D&C 89...

The slaves shall rise against their masters...who shall be marshalled and ready for war.

I'm not seeing it so much in Scotland, as I am in other areas, like what you said: Ukraine/Russia, and add Catalunya to the list as they look to break apart from Spain. Spain is answering that by militarizing their police.

Watch what happens RIGHT AFTER October Conference. This is going to be interesting to say the least as there will be war in Europe before the year is out. On the eastern front, China will be warring with Japan before the year is out. That is the one that concerns me a little more as this is NOT being covered...focus all on ISIS and Russia / Ukraine.

I agree. I also thought the Arab Spring was a fulfillment of this prophecy. Oddly, when I have pointed that out to members of the church, the response is invariable, "that prophecy is talking about the Civil War." Consider ISIS in the second part of D&C 87:4 which says the "slaves...shall be marshaled and disciplined for war."

But the Latter-day Saints are not in darkness; they are the children of light, although many of us will actually be asleep.
