THE ONE MENTIONED IN 2 NEPHI CH. 3

I may have gotten it wrong in what I previously wrote on Ch 3 in 2 Nephi.

Here is an interesting comment that I have to feature in it's own piece:

Joseph didn’t need an “Aaron.” He was mighty in speech by himself. Read that whole chapter and you’ll learn that it doesn’t speak of Joseph Smith but of a future prophet that comes through the lineage of Joseph of Lehi(Manasseh). And he will do a mighty work in converting the Lamanites(Joseph Smith never did that). 
This was actually commonly understood with the early brethren. And in fact the early editions of the BOM mentioned an Indian prophet in that chapter. It was changed in the early 1900s to Joseph Smith. That chapter has yet to be fulfilled.

I would be interested in more enlightenment on this and some backing of the idea that the idea of this Indian Prophet was changed in the early 1900's to Joseph Smith.

Not sure if this is an apostate notion - or legit.  I am open to learn more about this, including the One Mighty and Strong....

THE ROD OF MOSES, A STONE AND LIVING WATERS

Today in church, a speaker spoke on the Children of Israel and how the rod of Aaron (Moses) was used to strike the rock (or mountain) and the living waters came forth to quench the thirst of the wandering Israelites.  This truly was living waters.

I have to wonder, if the living waters that will flow out from underneath both the temples of the ancient Jerusalem and the New Jerusalem with coincide with some action of this Rod of Aaron that Oliver Cowdery was given, as stated in the original Book of Commandments (read the material in the link).

Oliver Cowdery was prophesied of in 2 Nephi 3.  Here is what it speaks of him:

17 And the Lord hath said: I will raise up a Moses; and I will give power unto him in a rod; and I will give judgment unto him in writing. Yet I will not loose his tongue, that he shall speak much, for I will not make him mighty in speaking. But I will write unto him my law, by the finger of mine own hand; and I will make a spokesmanfor him.
18 And the Lord said unto me also: I will raise up unto the fruit of thy loins; and I will make for him a spokesman. And I, behold, I will give unto him that he shall write the writing of the fruit of thy loins, unto the fruit of thy loins; and the spokesman of thy loins shall declare it.

Oliver Cowdery is analgous to Aaron and Joseph Smith is made analgous to Moses - both of whom performed a mighty miracle in relation to the House of Israel - who were made great in writing (the Penatuech and the Book of Mormon) - but who were both given spokesmen in Aaron and Oliver Cowdery.

The patterns in scripture and woven into the narrative of God's Chosen People are truly awesome.  In all things, there is a type and shadow, when God performs a mighty work among His children to bring them to salvation.

MANNAH - THE MEANING AND A FRESH PERSPECTIVE ON LOOKING AT THE MIRACLES IN OUR LIVES

Manna is really two Hebrew words: mah and nah. It literally means, What is it? They called it manna because they had not idea what it was, What is it? so they named it mahnah. The Israelite had no familiarity or preconception of what manna was. This divine substance was a miracle. Something heavenly, not of this world. Everyone was in awe like a little child being surprised by something new. Should we receive the miracles that occur every day in our lives as if receiving manna? Opening our hearts to the manna of His gospel, His love, His Grace, partaking of this bread of heaven? Because manna not only met their immediate need for food, but pointed to the one who would be the living Bread of life, because He is the substance that fills our souls.Our Mahnah.

Folks, as the machine rages against the deep state, the evidence and outcry will mount and mount and grow and grow until the truth finally comes out.  There are around 3,000 souls who have directly departed from this event - who are likely clamoring from the other side.  These are not "slackers" from this telestial sphere.  These were pretty high-powered people who will wield some clout over there.  God will have to honor their requests that they use their influence from the other side, to move those on this side to keep the pressure on until GOOD finally wins against the evil of the likes of the Bushes, the Clintons and others involved in shutting the truth down.

And for Mr Silverstein, the guy that made a lot of "silver" off of the whole thing, I will clamor until he is brought before an eternal court and is carted off to pay the uttermost farthing for destroying liberties in my beloved land (Canada and in the USA).

IN DEFENSE OF JOSEPH AND POLYGAMY

I got a little hot under the collar when some poor (ignorant) chap on youtube was basically being an apologetic for Joseph Smith (essentially saying that he did some backward stuff - but we should still accept him as a Prophet and just cut him some slack....).

Of all the things I have to endure on this telestial sphere, I despise the wolves in sheep's clothing who are the apologists and intellectuals in the Church because they simply destroy faith, whether it is blantantly cover/overt or inadvertent through the ridiculous youtube I had to endure.....   Grrrrr.....  If someone rips on Joseph, I am a freakin' pitbull in attack mode.  I LOVE that man far greater than I love my wife - whom I have had five children and been to hell and back several times with due to circumstances of our lives.  All of that - stacks up pitifully compared to the love I have for a man I have never even met.  I hope to be able to just shake his hand one day and utter a hear-felt thanks for what he has done for me and the world.

To hear people malign his character is a little more than I can take sometimes.

Iraq:   My wife flipped out (as a sexual abuse survivor) back in the early 1990's at BYU when she took a course on Polygamy from a Women's Studies prof who I thought was clearly an anti and I believe was ex'd later on because she kept pushing the idea that Joseph was running around having sex with all these people including 14 year old girls, etc. It is clear that he was sealed to all these women; YES. Did he consummate those relationships? NOPE. The proof is in the literal pudding. Joseph was not shooting blanks - his many biological children with Emma proves that. Yet there were reports coming from every direction (from those who hated him for the concept of Plural Marriage) that he was literally hitting the hay with these women. Thanks be to God for genetic testing that all the babies of these women proved to be from anyone OTHER than Joseph. ALL of those accusations flying around. Not a SHRED of proof that the children those women bore were his. My wife just about flew to pieces over it back in 1992 and I chose to simply trust what I already knew. I told her, she could throw Joseph under the bus - but SHE would be judged for it. She has since passed through MANY sorrows including losing her own son - as part and parcel of the judgment that she brought upon herself for not having more faith in Joseph's character and choosing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Iraq: To go on with this theme, the Joseph WAS sealed to a woman who was married to another man (who was NOT LDS) for time ONLY. She was sealed to Joseph - but having normal sexual relations (and children) with the man she was married to, for time only. Perverse you say? You judge a celestial event from a hellish and telestial perspective and are in danger of the Judgment, I promise you. This because, in the same act of judging Joseph, you just threw God himself under the bus. God had some form of union (I believe it was direct sexual contact - my wife believes it was a fairy or the HG that placed God's seed in Mary's womb..... whatever) with a virginal Mary and then Joseph was told to take her to wife (for time only) to take her and care for the seed of the other Man (God) while having NO sexual relations with her until after she delivered Jesus and had gone through the requisite days of purification. THEN he could consummate the union with his new wife - and only then.

Iraq: So, I have gone round and round over this topic. From our pitiful perspective, we tend to judge things we have NO perspective nor power, nor ability to judge. We simply are out of our league. So to have Masa's ward member start spouting the idea that we should cut Joseph Smith some slack for being a less than perfect mortal.... I get VERY hot under the collar. That is an apologetic position that is horribly wrong, mis-guided, and puts the average person in a situation where they likely could fall or be in danger of the judgment for having not judged righteous (or perfect) judgment. Not as we see things - but as God sees them - from a perfect perspective.

Now the index crashes another 1500 points today.

And, the Nikkei is down 1000 points (a bad portend for tomorrow's trading).
