To your one statement:
If you were given the chance to follow Satan and never have a body, what would be your choice? they got their reward on earth but Satan's got their rear end until the Resurrection and then they have to deal with the ever present recognition of the opportunity of progress they can never have, and eternity is a very long time. That thought pains me.
