THIS BLOG ATTEMPTS TO SHOW HOW SCIENCE IS CATCHING UP WITH REVEALED RELIGION

THIS BLOG IS AN ATTEMPT TO PUT ALL THE COOL STUFF THAT I BUMP INTO ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST AND EVENTS THAT LEAD UP TO IT INTO ONE LOCATION.
THE CONTENTS WILL BE FROM AN LDS PERSPECTIVE. IF YOU DISAGREE WITH ANYTHING IN HERE, I DO NOT PARTICULARLY CARE TO ARGUE, UNLESS YOU CAN ADD TO THIS BODY OF WORK. I HAVE AN OPEN MIND, THAT IS WHY I READ STUFF FROM ALL DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES AND SEEK LEARNING FROM THE BEST BOOKS. I JUST AM NOT HERE TO ARGUE ABOUT IT - BUT TO PUT IT OUT THERE WHERE OTHERS CAN PERUSE/PURSUE IT. I TAKE PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HONEST SEEKERS OF TRUTH AND BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE IS REVEALED RELIGION'S BEST ALLY. YOU WILL SEE ALOT OF TOPICS IN THIS BLOG THAT SHOW SCIENCE BACKING - AND SLOWLY CATCHING UP WITH - REVEALED RELIGION.
ENJOY!!

THE NECESSITY OF TRIALS

Speaking of.....  I am just coming out of a monster, Texas-sized cold.  I rarely do get sick - but when I do......  The blog has been sparse for that reason.  Most spare time has been spent slurping chicken soup and getting rest for mi cuerpo (or crapo, as the case actually was).

Here is a great quote for those who are bearing burdens:

“How can you and I really expect to glide naively through life, as if to say, 'Lord, give me experience, but not grief, not sorrow, not pain, not opposition, not betrayal, and certainly not to be forsaken. Keep from me, Lord, all those experiences which made Thee what Thou art! Then, let me come and dwell with Thee and fully share Thy joy!' ”
—Neal A. Maxwell, "Lest Ye Be Wearied and Faint in Your Minds," Ensign, May 1991, 88

Embrace your burdens and trials.  They are actually signs of a good thing, if you are not laboring under major sin.

Keep from me, Lord, all those experiences which made Thee what Thou art! Then, let me come and dwell with Thee and fully share Thy joy!' ”

  1. Suggestions for keeping the flu at bay -
    1. Go to a health food store that sells ground up herbs.
    2. Purchase herbs like: Alfalfa leaf, atlantic kelp, garlic powder, burdock root, pau d'arco bark, St. Johns wart, dandelion root, turmeric, wheat grass and such.
    3. Measure a 1/2 tablespoon of each powder into a bowl and mix well.
    4. Purchase gelatin capsules - open the capsule and stuff the powder into it. Close the capsule.
    5. take with water or juice

Take 1 daily for about 3 days and after you can go 1 every 3 days or so. Not into pills - well add it to a vegetable drink or sour cream with a little bit of salt. This is more of a savory concoctions. Anyway get a 1/4 tsp or more in you every few days and it seems to keep the flu/virus/illnesses away.

  2. Dear brother there was no need for you to suffer from a monster cold. GSE Maximum (Grapefruit Seed Extract) from Vitacost. Use 3 drops in a small glass of orange juice and stir WELL. Drink. Take 2-3 times per day If you take Rx's, contact the pharmacist to make sure the grapefruit won't cause problems. Grapefruit and some Rx's mixed are a no no.

    Garlinase.

Make the Cold Kicker from Keeper of the Home online. It WORKS!

Usnea tincture for infection anywhere in the body. Especially urinary tract infection. Uva Ursi will also take care of this.

Seriously sad you had to suffer. The GSE knocks the crap out most everything.

Gypsy Cold Care tea from Traditional Medicinals. 3-4 cups per day. Steep covered 5 minutes before drinking.
