I TAKE PARTICULAR INTEREST IN HONEST SEEKERS OF TRUTH AND BELIEVE THAT SCIENCE IS REVEALED RELIGION'S BEST ALLY. THE CHURCH RELEASES A STATEMENT ON MARIJUANA USAGE

Glad they did.  There are too many doubage people who are being influenced by people of the world.  Except in possible cases of extreme pain, I think this stuff simply is BAD news.....  It exascerbates existing mental health conditions such as paranoia, schizophrenia, etc.

    This article is nothing more than a legal brief - not doctrinal against marijuana in any way.

    I DO NOT have a horse in this race.
    If your child would be stopped from having even one seizure a day by marijuana you would crawl to the nearest dealer. For those with certain forms of cancer and other diseases with long term pain we have no problem giving them highly addictive (opioids) medication that our bodies build resistance to requiring higher doses of highly addictive medication, in many cases marijuana works wonders. I have talked to a LDS temple recommend holder that has made the drive to Colorado for pain relief. Marijuana clearly has a medical benefit and yes it will absolutely be misused by many many people - that very same thing can be said about the powers of procreation. I DO NOT wish for Marijuana to be made recreational legal in any way but there needs to be access made for those who need it.

    I commented on this before, but after listening to KTKK radio exploration of this subject the Church is in support of the American Medical Industry in their nonsupport for this initiative. Now things seem to come together the Church is reinforcing big industry Gadiantons so that big pharma can take over with synthetic, manufactured cannabis - taking it away from the people. The Church has acted out in very bizarre ways from everything I have seen once they stick their fingers in politics. I don't know if the Deep St. is holding something over their heads (meaning the Church not them personally) to get them to kowtow, all I know is that this is deception, and a deception to the membership of the Church is a lie.

    The Church can mealy mouth around the subject, but I have watched as they have, effectively, been in favor of sanctuary city movement.
    Why they do not support the concepts found in the Constitution and warn the people to follow those ideals. This has caused most members to more easily accept the concepts of socialism with increasing control of the Deep St.

    Had to get the disconnect off my chest. How can fully trust them.
    Watch out Iraq, they could turn on you guys seeking refuge away from the cities as extremist and call you back.
