Folks, when it comes to my perception on things, I will often wait until I hear something from multiple sources and then will move on it and often incorporate that thing into a more "inner circle" of belief sets. I am not smart enough to get it on my own, but I will often rely on those who are and use a sharpened sense of discernment to decide who and what is believable in the sea of opinions.
My scriptural mentor (a guy who is almost 100% right about 100% of the time - though we differ on our views on Brigham Young, as he leans more to the DoC viewpoint), just brought this hook in the mouth thing up the other night when we were talking about Putin. I am always amazed by his ability to outright memorize entire passages of scripture and commit them to memory. He clearly has a gift - but he rattled this one off from Ezekiel 38:
“And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:”
What this means, is what Pat Robertson had to say about it and the first statement about "turn thee back" is probably related to Putin's first venture into Ukraine when he took over the Crimean Peninsula (to secure his Black Sea port where a bulk of his warm water navy is stationed):
The scriptures appear to say that he will be compelled to do what he is doing. The way the sanctions are going, just as with Japan in WWII, an act of desperation brought about the surprise attack on the USA. I see history repeating itself right there.
Whether this is all orchestrated by the NWO doing some kind of good cop/bad cop show for the masses, I do not know for sure. It has been my experience that Russia just kind of does their own thing. BUT - often the puppet masters who really pull the strings, do it from the shadows and play one faction or group against another. It is never truly clear until after it is all over and one cannot get good news from the leftist media organs out there like CNN. I laugh at anyone who calls that drivel "news"....
This is not all over until we have resolution in Israel. Putin may go there if he feels that they are unduly influencing world events (anti-Zionist sentiments) and need to be stopped. He will have to take out the USA in order to accomplish this. We could see this event in just a few short weeks. It may take a decade. It is hard to tell - but the word on the street is that Putin is eyeing Moldova. I get the feeling that he will just keep rolling over Europe. Kind of a reverse Hitler kind of thing....
Yeah Moldova's definitely next on the list. Another former Soviet Republic, and like Ukraine, NOT a member of Nato. Also like Ukraine, it has a small restive area known as Transnistria that is mostly populated by Russians and they have wanted to leave Moldova for a while and become its own nation.
ReplyDeleteAnother point to consider about the Bear laying the Palm on the Lion quote given by Joseph Smith. You might be interested to know that in Western Ukraine, in the area of L'viv going back towards far east Slovakia and north to southeastern Poland, there once lived a group of people known as the Rusyns. Not to be confused with the Russians, these guys are said to be the descendants of the original Kievan Rus', which very well could have been descendants of part of the Lost Tribes.
Their colors are EXACTLY the colors that show up on the Ukrainian flag. Their symbol: A RAMPANT LION, like that shown in Scotland.

Russia has not yet moved towards Zhytomyr much less L'viv, though if it does, this might very well be fulfilling that prophecy.
