Great quote by a great man! Truly, most who sleep never are fully aware of the chains they labor under. This is the false joy of the adversary who will NEVER have a body: Mostly seeing those of us with bodies struggle with addictions and so much else, that cause us to lose true joy during our mortal probation. I mean, imagine the irony of having the thing that we fought so hard for in our first estate, become a hellish prison!
I was in the hardware store in Cardston the other day and a native fellow who looked like a regular guy, came up to the counter and asked for some isopropyl or denatured alcohol. It was a pint bottle. He plunked down the buck and then headed over to free popcorn kiosk. While he was away, I asked the manager if he would drink this?? He said yes, and that this was one of their best-selling items among the counter items.... Sad!

ReplyDeleteAs the Taiwan Times reports, over the weekend, "Tencent seems to have inadvertently released what is potentially the actual number of infections and deaths, which were astronomically higher than official figures", and were far closer to the catastrophic epidemic projections made by Jonathan Read.
According to the report, late on Saturday evening, Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker", showed confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (2019nCoV) in China as standing at 154,023, 10 times the official figure at the time. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808, four times the official figure."
