This is what Bishop Koyle talked of. After these events, he spoke of an overflowing scourge that made so many dead that they littered Utah County from Payson to the Point of the Mountain. At some point in there, there was a nasty little devaluation of the currency. It made the people worse off than the Great Depression. According to Joseph Smith, this starts a rebellion in the Chicago area and spreads to most of the nation:

I am surprised that you are taking Bishop Koyle statement over a living prophet. Did you know that he was excommunicated for teaching false doctrine by taking over the mantle of the prophet? This is why I am surprised that put this in here stating he was indeed a prophet which he is not.
ReplyDeleteEvery time Jimmeny Cricket comments, he includes a piece of falsehood with mostly truths. Notice past comments and comments going forward at least thru May 12. He is so consistent in his or her pattern, I can hardly believe it. This is classic snake, Korihor etc. I would love to know who this person really is. Doesn’t matter, anytime you hear a philosophy, if it sounds like our Jimmeny (sp) you know what to liken it to. I have much hope though for Jimmeny and other Jimmeny’s and parts of Jimmeny’s in all of us, to reevaluate and then seek to undo what has been done.
ReplyDeleteI think there is one comment that doesn’t have a falsehood… the one on the obvious sin of Sodom and Gammorah, but there is cricket’s implication that this was the main or only problem in Sodom, and that implication is false.
