CAMELOT - FIRST KNIGHT MOVIE ON YOUTUBE

I love this movie.  It teaches many things about a Terrestrial Order and the system that needs to be in place before the Lord comes.  Principles of selflessness, higher purpose, loyalty to God and the need for a moral code etc:

DEF SHORTAGE FALLING ON DEF EARS…

This is interesting commentary.  When it comes to modern Diesel engines, I have always avoided stuff with the DEF in it.  I have just had a feeling to stay away from it and stay with the old tech. I have an old Dodge diesel pickup that is somewhat cherry.  I bought it for $6500 15 years ago when it was 10 years old.  Apparently they are now going for over $20,000.

Go figure!

Check this out:

Just after reading your dream, I ran across this posted by one of my friends...quite profound, and fitting with your dream:

" Diesel Peeps and ANYBODY who cares about this country

Do you know what DEF fluid is? It's Diesel Exhaust Fluid. Every Diesel truck that has been made since 2010 is required to use it. It's a product made of 67% Urea fertilizer and 33% distilled water. Every diesel truck you see driving down the road today has to have this product to drive. The engines won't start without it. There are regulators inside the engine that mix DEF with the Diesel to reduce Diesel emissions. That's the purpose of DEF.

Right now, Russia is the largest exporter of Urea by a wide margin. Qatar is second. Egypt and China are Tied for 3rd. Both Russia and China have decided to no longer export Urea. On top of that, India is the largest manufacturer of Urea in the world even though they consume most of what they make. What little they would export..........they no longer do. They are now stopping the exportation of any and all Urea minus a deal they just cut with Sri Lanka.

What does this mean for you and me? Well, first, the United States imports most of it's Urea fertilizer. We are the third largest importer in the entire world. We depend on other countries to eat, drive and ship our products.

Secondly... Flying J is the largest Service provider for Truckers around the Unites States. I'm sure you've seen their massive gas stations when traveling around the country. Flying J gets 70% of their DEF fluid from shipments via Union Pacific railroad. UP has single user access to the Fertilizer plants that Urea/DEF fluid comes from. No other rail provider has access to these distribution points. This means Flying J can't just go around Union Pacific. Union Pacific is in charge....for a reason I'm gonna mention in a few paragraphs.

Flying J provides 30% of all DEF consumed in the United States. UP has told Flying J to reduce their shipments by a whopping 50%. And if they do not comply then they will be completely embargoed. That would in effect bankrupt FJ. This means that 15% of all DEF consumed by truckers in the US is no longer available at the largest travel service center for the entire trucking industry.

Rome rotted from the inside out. It was easily invaded because it was occupied with internal problems. It appears we have discovered the Trigger. DEF fluid. If this holds up, DEF shortages will be the catalyst that causes food shortages in the coming months. Not only is there a shortage of fertilizer to grow crops in drought-stricken states (See Kansas' drop in wheat production for 2022)....but....now it looks like, unless the Federal Government intervenes via the Defense Production Act, ...which I am no longer confident they will....there is gonna be an absolute massive shortage of trucking in the coming months.

There simply isn't going to be DEF fluid sufficient to keep the engines running and moving. Home Depot is now limiting the amount of DEF you can buy in their stores.

I would think long and hard about the decisions you are making right now. Where you live. What you spend money on. How you prepare. This is so real that the CEO of Flying J, Shameek Konar was summoned to a Surface Transportation Board hearing to give them all this info.

From what I'm reading....Blackrock is the majority shareholder of Union Pacific railroad. How is that important? Americas biggest fertilizer producer is CF Industries. Their largest shareholder is Blackrock. Blackrock controls the fertilizer industry in the U.S.. Union Pacific has exclusive rights to distribution points of fertilizer. Urea is fertilizer. Flying J needs Urea/DEF. Blackrock is controlling everything.

The Chairman of the BlackRock Investment Institute is Tom Donilon, President Obama’s former National Security Advisor. Tom Donilon’s brother, Mike Donilon is a Senior Advisor to Joe Biden. Tom Donilon’s wife, Catherine Russell, is the White House Personnel Director. Tom Donilon’s daughter, Sarah Donilon, who graduated college in 2019, now works on the White House National Security Council.

It appears Blackrock is spearheading the dismantling of the US system on behalf of the Globalists. And the first domino they are pushing over is the energy sector. They are using DEF to get the party started.  This is one sector of the biggest downfalls in political repercussions this country has ever seen.."

JUDGING ON APPEARANCES

I used to work in Calgary and live there M-Th.  I had a bunch of time on my hands, but lived close to the Temple.  My wife had a ton of male names that needed work.  I could get there from work just in time to hit two sessions if everything worked out.  Going the hour to home to shower and change, and then back to the temple was not an option.  Throwing a white shirt in the car in the morning on Tuesday or Wednesday and popping up for some W&A and/or some Endowments was a great way to spend the evenings if I had to be away from my family.

I am so glad that I had the option to wear a dress shirt (not white) without a tie and my steel toed dress shoes (required for my job since forklifts were in the hangar, etc) into the temple without a glare.  I explained to them one time (my circumstances) and the usual night time desk worker was always so kind to me and accomodating.  I hate being a snowflake, but I could not easily wear a white shirt every time I planned on going to the temple.  Sometimes, the planes were quite dusty and dirty if they had worked in a particular area I was in.

I am quite sure, it was easier to overlook a hard, fast rule than to shun somebody for appearances alone.  I picture the people of Pompeii or Sodom doing that to the stranger in their midst; not the people of God.  The letter of the law killeth, but the spirit giveth life....  Here is a great quote by one who spoke about the habiliments of the priesthood of man (graduation garb) and was exposed to the haircut and shaving police.  He is my inspiration when I start getting too self-important about something:

To the opposite side of the issue, BYU held that rule because it kept the Fundamentalists at bay (who often wear beards as a sign of their religiosity).  It also kept the hippies out at a time when the 70's had run amok with much common sense.

NEFARIOUS - I DO NOT THINK YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS....

Words mean something.  When spoken by a perfect Being, we need to pay attention.  When spoken by a mere mortal, we need to give a bunch of slack - because in many instances, we have no idea what their meanings are (either those giving or those receiving the words or both).

When the member of the Bishopric called my statements about the Rod of Aaron "nefarious" in front of the Bishop (who is a Social Studies teacher and likely really does understand word meanings more than a math/numbers guy like me), I highly doubt the Counselor knew the real meaning of the word.  Certainly, he had not read the hand-written words that the original revelation came out in, let alone the Book of Commandments and then the early editions of the D&C that contained the same or similar words/wording.

Wicked is not exactly what I would use for someone when laying down the truth, when that is all they love.  Maybe if I were actually trying to tear down the faith of someone or corrupt a little kid (maybe like the public screwel system with teaching 4 year olds about sex education/masturbation, etc), that would be nefarious.  But the whole Rod of Aaron vs the Gift of Aaron?  Nah.

Anyway - I looked up the definition of several words today for work because words do indeed mean something and I thought later that I would dive a little deeper into the meaning of that particular word.  I was under the impression that it was something along the lines of "bad" or something way more soft than the actual Webster meaning.  Here is what ole Webster defines it as:

Very interesting.  Very harsh:  "degenerate, iniquitous, vicious"?  Possibly a little degenerate or iniquitous (in some form or another), but vicious?  I really do not think I have a mean bone in my body, though I confess to kicking our rather persistent can when constantly tries to sneak in the house...  Highly reprehensible?  That seems like a very high bar (or low bar, as the case might be) to clear.  Villainous is a whole new story.  Can I be like the Joker from Batman?  He is villainous.  And admittedly, I am kind of a joker...

Interesting....

Thankfully, I had a medical reason to not attend to my calling on Sunday.  I am not sure I would want someone who is vicious, iniquitous or degenerate or wicked or criminal being anywhere around the four year old kids in Primary... let alone anywhere on the premises.  So it was probably for the best.

THE HIJACKING OF THE SERPENT SYMBOL

So much has been co-opted from the rainbow to the red vs blue to the swaztika to just about everything.

The devil and his lackeys are such losers that the only way they can get close to getting anything right is by tawdry imitation.  Just like so many cheap Chinese knockoffs….

Here is some great commentary from FB (speaking of not being able to create original content…  haha):

The serpent in ancient Israel was also symbolic of the Messiah. Referred to as the Nahash it was believed to have the divine power to resurrect or be born again(shedding its skin) and to give and take life. This gives enhanced insight as to why satan would appear as a serpent in the garden (a false messiah) to deceive Adam and Eve. It also gives depth to the accounts of Aaron’s staff turning into a serpent to consume Pharaoh’s magicians staffs. Finally it is a direct connection to the serpent story with Moses and the challenges of the serpent’s confronting Israel. Moses lifts up the true Messiah on a pole to look to and live.

THE LAW OF CHASTITY AND THE SIN OF SODOM

I wanted to delve into this a little more when I had a little more time on my hands.  In trying to flesh out the root cause and relationship of sexual sin and the shunning of the stranger.

Sexual sin is selfish:

  • Rape or Incest/Pedophilia;  destroys any form of trust between humans.  Especially when it comes to children who are naturally trusting and cannot reason that their innocence is being compromised (necessarily at the time).  This is the greatest form of betrayal as it is NEARLY impossible to restore or engender true trust in a person ever again.  It is a life sentence for the victim and for those who attempt to love them.  I am living it, to a degree, right now.  In the end, I have seen multi-generational abuse come out of it, self-flaggelation of the victim both emotionally and spiritually, mental health issues and sometimes suicide.  In the end, the Atonement will cover it and completely heal it, but I find that it appears to be impossible or difficult to resolve in a normal human lifetime and with the limited amount of love at our disposal in this fallen sphere.

This is why Jesus was stark in His assessment when it comes to the judgment in that it would better had the person never gotten a body (picture the torturous state of satan and his minions), than to ever go there.  It does not get more stark than those words, that bluntly stated, by the God of Love....

  • Adultery; destroys families (partners and children) in that trust is destroyed for a few minutes of pleasure.  It can be regained possibly over an immense amount of time, but the one act brutalizes any relationship.  Divorce is devastating outcome of it.  Recoverable - but so little so, that it ranks right next to murder in seriousness.
  • Fornication; destroys trust in that two people who have engaged in it, even if consensual.  I just casually observe the number of people who "did it" before they got married and then feigned to love each other (yes, I know it is still possible to do so) during the duration of that relationship.  It seems (at least anecdotally), that the relationship ends in failure.  Often (not always), the sex which propelled them into a relationship (often peters out - pun intended) and the pair are left unfulfilled and the usual pornography, adultery takes over that relationship.  It comes down to delayed gratification - do you suffer a little more up front to have a multiplicative effect a little later on?  Or do you cave to your desires only to have it lean in the later years.  I am yet to see a way for those who have gone that route, to reverse the effects of it within their relationship.  It is kind of like the alcoholic who roasts his liver on the hooch, then quits, and then endures the ravages of liver disease until death.  Once the damage is done, it is hard to back it out - yet many still heroically attempt to do so.
  • Pornography/Prostitution;  it is not a victimless crime.  If there were no demand for it, there would be no money in it and it would cease to exist as a thing.  The victims are those who are trafficked and often drugged in order to perform for the camera.  Often desensitized to the point they do not care.  Often just working for the next fix or enough money to feed (often) illegitimate kids.  These are those operating in the margins of society.  I have related the story of my younger sister's friend who was deceived into the trade as a 15 year old and then spit out of it at 17 (likely after she had contracted some dread STD).  Like so much trash, she was thrown out as an addict and used up.  She is now right around 50 years old.  Never married.  Who would want to deal with that background?  I think she may not be active LDS either.  None of that stuff is victimless crimes against humanity.  There is a cost to everything.  It is driven by selfishness.
  • Homosexuality; it is simply selfish by definition in that it (often) deprives life by its very definition (no conception has ever occurred in the anus or without a penis in a vagina; basic biology...).  Simply. Not. Done.  Depriving life to another when we have it (this includes abortion), is the ultimate selfish act.  It is kind of like watching another starve while you are feasting at a table.  I think Jesus referenced this as the selfish act of the century (other than child molestation) and that the person who deprives others of the basics will look up from hell while the former sufferer enjoys an eternity of the abundant life and the former is satisfied just to eat the crumbs from the table as a wretch.
So, what does this have to do with Sodom?  All of that sin is selfish in nature (Ezekiel 16):

49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister aSodombpride, fulness of bread, and abundance of cidleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

50 And they were haughty, and committed aabomination before me: therefore I took them baway cas I saw good.

No one, not a single person who is truly selfless and Zion-hearted would want to deprive another of their virtue, let alone deprive them of hospitality (warm place to sleep and food to eat) while they themselves are enjoying it.  It simply would not cross their mind.  If a mistake were made on the sexual sin side of the equation, repentance would be on the highest order of business.  True repentance and forsaking of it.

Two things remain seared in my mind from high school was being in the same locker room with the "jocks" and them literally plotting to take the virtue of their cheerleader girl friends who had "not put out" up to that point.  And then the sad news as they were bragging about finally making the score some time later.  They were derogatorily bragging about them like so many cheap, tawdry pieces of meat.  Just sick.  I wanted to go up and deck them, even though I had not dated those particular girls.  In today's world with technology, I would have recorded the audio and air dropped it in a different class so the girls could be clued in to the behavior of the assholes that they thought loved them.

I just have to wonder how many of these guys are in broken relationships.  I have spent time on fakelook and note that many of them are in broken relationships.  Many of the women and men with mental health issues or alcoholism and most with at least one divorce.  The pattern of broken living perpetuating through their lives and often band-aided with substance abuse to cover the pain of failure, etc.  Humans are meant to have joy in their relationships - not the trail of wreckage that Western society parades as normal.  Divorce should be the rare exception; not the rule as we find harmony in our lives through gospel living.

So, the greatest manifestation of sin in Sodom was allowing the engrained sexual nature of us as humans (yes, sex is healthy and normal and wholesome in a loving committed relationship, sealed by the bonds of marriage) to get to a point that it has become selfish and then possibly beyond a human need that needs to be contained within the bounds the Lord has set, to one where a basic human need is also deprived.  This selfishness appears to organically spill over into other basic human needs of food and warmth.  It is the lack of charity that appears to be the problem here.  The Golden Rule is at play.

All of this played out in St George.  I am quite sure that the officers would have been horrified at the thought of their own daughter being treated like that.  If not, then they are no better than a dog.  Dogs actually have far more dignity than that....

A few more thoughts.  I am always struck by the quickness and harshness of how an officer will respond to the report of a bank being "robbed".  If I were to call in any other crime (an actual crime against a person like assault or rape), good luck getting an officer there in record time, let alone a backup officer let alone a call for a possible SWAT team response to subdue the rapist or assaulter.  In the case of the bank and my daughter, it was amazing the rapidness and level of response to her supposed "felony bank robbery".  How police repond to crimes (especially things like human trafficking and prostitution) tells you largely who is in control and what their priorities are.  Banks and drug lords and big business are in control of the situation.  The police do not work for you; they work for them....  Them being the Gadiantons.

And thus likely why I will help her pursue charges against the police dept at a bare minimum to cause them to more properly assess their responses to an alleged crime.  I think the thing that pisses me off the most is that they brutalized her (quite likely could have ended up killing her - they should have kept her under observation for a minimum of 72 hours with periodic checkups thereafter until they were sure the danger of a brain bleed was well past), and then they tried to cover it up.  The audio tapes from the call that went out was for a burglary in progress.  This is so far from the truth it is laughable.  The dashcam and body cam footage from both cruisers and the two responding officers will further define this fact.  They were presumptive in their actions, did not read the situation right (her hands were empty, no backpack, and only a wallet on her person) and did not ask questions before deciding they needed to use excessive force to "subdue" their "suspect" who was just walking away from an ATM.

I can only hope that the bank employee or whomever called it in gets to enjoy a similar situation with themselves or a close family member so they can "enjoy" the experience for themselves.  The Law of the Harvest is a bitch...

She has filed a formal complaint with the PD and the question was asked, "What do you want to do with this?".  How about you issue a formal apology and admit there was a false arrest and that it was not handled properly?!?  Then IMMEDIATELY run everything past a Judge and get it all expunged?  No DUH!  That is what happens when you majorly screw up....  Persisting in a court date and not just reducing the charges is insulting!  Not offering to pay the hospital bills and make it like it never happened?  Insulting!

This is the sin of Sodom.  If I were the Police Chief, I would seriously rake the department over the coals.  Because, had she died from this?  I would be raising more than my share of hell for them down there.  Far more importantly than that, I would question whether my town warrants divine protection from what is coming.  I have waffled on how I feel about St George.  Obviously it will fare much better than say Las Vegas.  Talk about the sins of Sodom....  Filthy is a euphomism when describing that place.  Why anyone would want to raise a family there is absolutely beyond me....  I have seen some indications that SG will be a place of refuge and not refuse.  BUT - I have seen many things that concern me including a leaning towards the rainbow agenda by several in positions of power down there.  I often marvel at the landscapes and feel that they are a result of massive destructions of the former inhabitants in those areas, just as with the SL valley when it was covered with water (see statements by BY on the matter).

I get concerned about Cardston and our black body bag future (including two out in front of my house..).  We had a homeless lady show up on doorstep one night late and a few years ago.  The first thing that went through my mind as we were "interviewing" her to see if there was a threat to our abode, was the Sodom factor at play in my life.  I don't care about my safety so much, but we did have two teen girls in our home at the time.  We decided to take her in until she could get on her feet.  Our neighbors, who happen to be very high up in the Temple hierarchy outed us to their son, whom we are currently renting from, and we were swatted down for having given her a spare bedroom and food for a few weeks.  Our sin was not appreciated and Cardston clicked down one notch on the Sodom meter....

I see the Sodom effect as I will call it, manifest itself among the youth.  If a kid is not within the cool crowd or the right family group, they are often shunned.  Oddly enough, it is the shunning by the youth within the Church more than it is by those outside the fold.  This creates a vacuum that is exploited by those to fill the kids' heads with anti-Mormon propaganda.  This particular thing worked on my oldest daughter when we moved to Montana in the middle of her high school career.  All of the girls basically shunned her including the Bishop's daughter.  She is a little reserved, but not too socially awkward.  She always ate lunch alone those last two years of school.  While the Bishop's daughter was out fornicating, she was home studying and scratching her head and wondering what made her so off-putting that she had no friends (among the LDS crowd).  The hypocrisy and mistreatment by that posse really rubbed my girl wrong and she dropped out of Seminary after a year of that action and a snafu with the Seminary teacher who basically told all of the kids that the girls were to forget higher education, stay home and be barefoot and pregnant for the next thirty years of their existence....  The Bishop's daughter ended up going on to a temple marriage (I have always wondered if her new husband was even aware of the Chery Cherry robbing incidents previously in her life), while my daughter left the Church completely.  I am not blaming the kids of that posse - but I am 100% positive that it would have been a different outcome with my daughter if she had been welcomed into that group on Sundays as well as in the school cafeteria (at a minimum).  Instead the Protestant kids who had been taught in Bible camp that Mormons are cultists, were more than happy to whisk her into their posse and finish off her trust in the Restored Gospel....  They were just doing what they thought was prudent, based on what their Pastors had taught them...  Thanks, folks!  It has been superb!

And so it goes.  In Zion, we simply will dwell in love and this kind of thing will not exist.  The love that has waxed cold in many will burn brightly once again and the sins of Sodom will be a distant memory.  We will value love and relationships over money and avarice.  Those who merit it, will have been drowned in the depths of the sea, sunk in the depths of the earth like many places around St George were in previous days, etc and we will experience a new earth and a new mindset.  It will only come after the purge.

THE ORIGINS OF FRIDAY 13TH - JACQUE DE MOLAY

There is a lot of fascinating history here regarding how the superstition surrounding Friday the 13th came about.  That was the day that the French Catholics raided the Knights Templar (picture the day the ATF took down Waco, etc) in order to shut down that minority sect on the orders of the Pope.  Typical crap where they were jealous of the wealth and success of the Templars and they made their move to utterly wipe them out (they ended up in Scotland and that is where we get the Scottish Rite from, etc).

Here is some fun-fact reading for those interested.  I reviewed it once again to see if I could learn something new:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacques_de_Molay

Associated movies stemming from this stuff are two of my favorites:

  • The Da Vinci Code
  • American Treasure (one of my daughter's favorite flicks)

CHICOMS ARE PREPARING ANOTHER TORA TORA TORA SCENARIO?

When it comes to a nation I trust the least (not necessarily the people; the "leadership"), it would be the China Chicoms.  Here is yet one more example.  They will end up pulling about five carrier groups into a South China Sea/Taiwan trap and then kill all of the ships with ship killer missiles:

https://news.usni.org/2022/05/11/great-wall-of-naval-targets-discovered-in-chinese-desert

The second piece of disturbing news on Drudge this morning was that China appears to be doing a "surround Taiwan and simulate a full invasion" exercise.

https://americanmilitarynews.com/2022/05/china-surrounds-taiwan-for-massive-invasion-rehearsal-drills/

This kind of stuff pisses me off.  The parents of my Best Man fled the Mainland to Taiwan to get the hell away from the devil's counterfeit of "government" back in 1949 and then eventually came to the USA in 1964.  Why must they sit there and covet a little island in the middle of nowhere?  It is nothing in the bigger picture.  But then the sons of Japheth have always been known to be money grubbers.  Everything centers around money including festivals where money is passed along.  Weddings same thing.  One of my coworkers was able to buy a Tesla after his Mainland wedding to his Chinese bride.  Serious cash....

Over time, I had to sever my ties to my best man because he was constantly screwing people over in money deals and I could no longer condone that.  There is "getting an advantage, but being fair" in a deal (Golden Rule applies here) to just outright screwing someone over.  He did the latter a few times too many and I left him in disgust.  Culture over Gospel principles, I guess....  Just fine.  I determine what I think is fair (without gouging), and then just go from there.  Haggling is really not an option for me.  I recently sold a car and I have to say I categorically ignored the low ball offers from the hagglers.  Sorry - that might work elsewhere, but not for me.  When in Rome, do as the Romans...

It is all in prophecy.  We just wait for it to be fulfilled.  The USA (and Canada) will be taken down in a relatively short time.  War is, by design, a short scenario when dealing with nuclear powers.  It comes down to days, weeks and months instead of years or decades as it has been in the past.

THE ZION LITMUS - HOW DO WE RATE?

I am going to attempt to do this topic justice - and it is one that is near and dear to my heart.  I just got some news that kind of shook me and it tackles some gut-wrenching "self-ask" questions of; "How do we treat the stranger in our midst?".

It is one that I often fail in - so I am in no way pointing the finger, but it is one that everyone must ask themselves.  It is one of the major yardsticks that will be used to justify ourselves, or condemn us as individuals or as a collective group (church, city, state, nation, world).  This societal problem brought down Sodom (known as the "sin of Sodom") and it is under-emphasized over the more well-known sin of unbridled sexual sin and perversion towards the angels and daughters of Lot, etc etc.  My wife has read the apocrypha on Sodom and the thing that seemed to be even more offensive to the Lord was that the people did not entreat the stranger and more vulnerable that came into their midst with kindness and compassion.  In fact, they were not fed, brutalized or otherwise cared for.

This is how this has hit home for me.  My oldest daughter who is amazingly smart and is used to having life by the horns (almost 4.0 GPA in Engineering school undergrad and graduate work; probably 0.1 percentile territory), suffered a major setback or two (including a catastrophic spiral fracture arm break during power lifting), which led to the onset of mental illness.  Despite the best efforts of her younger brother to help her, she kept slipping more and more until she lost complete control (ability to maintain employment) and was basically living on the streets despite what everyone tried to do.  The efforts of my wife and everyone else in her sphere has been heroic.  But until you understand the workings of paranoia and schizophrenia, you have no idea how difficult it is to work with someone.  If you are an engineer, it is especially vexing due to the lack of logic and randomness of the behavior.  If you are empathic and an engineer, you have to disconnect from the situation completely in order to keep your own sanity intact.

So, through a series of events, my daughter ended up in St George, Utah where she had some support system in place.  My wife had tried several times to have her committed several times before this, so she could get life counseling and proper medication to bring her condition under control - but all to no avail, until recently.  My daughter was literally burning every bridge she had to those who cared for her as she suspiced everyone of likely being out to get her and being impossible to be around.  My wife, being the awesome woman that she is, never gave up on her - and just tried to be patient in prayer and fasting until my daughter hit rock bottom.

Well, that day finally came.  My daughter had gone to the ATM in St George to try and find enough money to pay for gas for her van that she was living in.  She went to another one (her card was not working probably due to too many pin tries) and either the police misidentified her or assumed she was up to no good.  A police cruiser came roaring up behind her as she was walking away from the ATM with nothing more than a wallet and ATM card on her person (no backpack or anything in her hands and her hands were clearly visible as she was walking away).  The police officer yelled at her to stop, which she did not (she was not sure he was talking to her, since she had done nothing wrong).  She kept walking and he ran up and tackled her to the ground.  He called in backup which then came and promptly kicked her in the head as she tried to wrest her injured arm behind her to cuff her.  They initially charged her with felony theft (Whiskey Tango Hotel....) even though she had stolen nothing or done nothing wrong.  How can you be charged with theft when you have nothing on your person that was stolen?!?  Also, a minor count of resisting arrest because she was tackled and resisted when her injured arm (that has a documented 20% decrease in range of motion), was being wrenched behind her.

When she complained of pain in her head after the arrest, they called an ambulance and they confirmed there was a problem when they put a helmet on her and took her to the hospital for an MRI.  That was six weeks ago.  A few days ago, I reviewed the MRI results and gave them to my doctor friend who is one of the good ones.  She said that the break was indeed fresh and that she had sustained a potentially catastrophic injury to her head.  My daughter nursed herself back to health in the wilderness outside St George but began to experience extreme pain in her eyes.  To the point that she called 911 in the evening.  A policeman went out to find her and bring her into the hospital for examination.  I believe she was dealing with pressure on the optic nerves from the brain swelling.  My wife, probably under influence of the HG, called into the St George police in the middle of the same night and the officer who had cared for my daughter answered the phone.  Amazing timing.  They were able to assess her and have her involuntarily committed to get the medication that she needed.  They apparently now have time-release drugs that last up to a month.  After several weeks, this medication begins to have an effect on the patient and they begin to think rationally and normally again.

Basically, the boys (and girls) in blue screwed up and they charged her with ridiculous things after they brutalized her and realized they had crossed so many lines.  Apparently (I still have to review the requested body cam footage and audio) they even screwed up and did not tell her why they were arresting her and never bothered to read her the Miranda Rights until she asked them to repeat them while she was in the ambulance being treated.  This is ALL sorts of messed up and on so many levels.

Part of me is very grateful that this happened - because she would have never gotten the treatment she needed.  Part of me wants to fly down and be there for that court date so I can hand them their asses....  And I have what it takes to do so.  Just like I handed the Montana Tax Commission their asses when they tried to assess me $11,000 in state income tax that I did not owe them.  People can fling the poo, hoping that you will just roll over and die.  The thing they often do not expect, is when you push back.  And push back hard.

If the evidence comes out as I expect it will, I expect at a minimum that ALL charges in the criminal case will be dropped.  A judge already did a preliminary review and dropped the charges to misdemeanors - which is still bullshit.  When we get done with them, they will beg for her forgiveness, pay for all the medical bills (so far, over $5,000) and compensate her for the loss of time and will leave her record clean and expunged.  It is very simple.  If things go well for them, they will not have to face a lawsuit in civil court for police brutality and damages (short and long term) to my daughter's health.  I am still waffling on this possibility.  Right now, I am all sorts of pissed off at the situation and also at myself that I did not take her seriously until 5 week later when my doctor friend confirmed that she was not exaggerating the extent of her injuries.  The chances are quite high that she could have died from a brain bleed in the desert outside St George.  That shakes me - shakes me hard.

So, what does this have to do with Zion?  It comes down to not seeing something (on video, or otherwise) and jumping to the worst assumption.  It comes down to asking questions and then arriving at a conclusion.  It comes down to reaching out to help the marginalized in society instead of nearly almost killing them and trying to drive them out.  This is the sin of Sodom.  I have experienced it here in Cardston as my wife and I have worked with the marginalized.  People are insular and live in the proverbial ivory tower not reaching out and being compassionate.  This is a massive flaw in character.  Far worse than any sexual sin (that is not coercive in nature, at least) that might have existed in Sodom.  I am not sure why, but I think one is indicative of decay in the other area.  I think the two go hand in hand, though I have never figured the mechanism out; other than general selfishness.  Sexual sin is often a sin of selfishness (including a resulting abortion and the destruction of healthy relationships due to infidelity, etc).  Mistreating the marginalized is often a sin of selfishness because it takes work and kindness and compassion to not just dismiss those who are suffering.

SCIENCE FINALLY CONFIRMS WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WIZARD OF OZ

It appears that he likely drowned in a catastrophic subsidence just off the coast of Hawaii.

Here is the proof:

SPROUTS, RODS AND GIFTS

Great comment from a reader on the recent blog post on the Rod of Aaron:

Interesting to note in the initial hand written version the word rod was not mentioned but sprout was;

"O remember these words & keep my commandments remember this is thy gift now this is not all for thou hast another gift which is the gift of working with the sprout

Behold it hath told you things

Behold there is no other power save God that can cause this thing of Nature to work in your hands

for it is the work of God & therefore whatsoever ye shall ask to tell you by that means that will he grant unto you that ye shall know

remember that without faith ye can do nothing trifle not with these things do not ask for that which ye had not ought

ask that ye may know the mysteries "

https://www.josephsmithpapers.org/paper-summary/revelation-book-1/7#ft-historical-intro

Now this is not all thy agift; for you have another gift, which is the gift of Aaron; behold, it has told you many things;

Behold, there is no other power, save the power of God, that can cause this gift of Aaron to be with you.

Therefore, adoubt not, for it is the gift of God; and you shall hold it in your hands, and do marvelous works; and no power shall be able to take it away out of your hands, for it is the bwork of God.

And, therefore, whatsoever you shall ask me to tell you by that means, that will I grant unto you, and you shall have knowledge concerning it.

10 Remember that without afaith you can do nothing; therefore ask in faith. Trifle not with these things; do not bask for that which you ought not.

11 Ask that you may know the mysteries of God, and that you may atranslate and receive knowledge from all those ancient records which have been hid up, that are bsacred; and according to your faith shall it be done unto you.

12 Behold, it is I that have spoken it; and I am the same that spake unto you from the beginning. Amen.

Remember that the Rod was a branch from the Tree of Life, all a sprout, blossom and fruiting wood in the same thing.   The epitome of life.  Usually, in a state of individual cycling in a telestial setting.  Likely not so when in the terrestrial state.  Something even entirely different in a celestial setting.  Something from a previous posting from a decade ago that explains how this functioned:

Here is some more on the topic:

Please read Exodus 7 to find out about Aaron’s rod.

Exodus 4 about Moses rod. Moses rod is called the “rod of God” in Exo 4:20.

Exodus 7:19 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Take your rod and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their streams, over their rivers, over their ponds, and over all their pools of water, that they may become blood. And there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and vessels of stone.' "

Exodus 8:5 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Stretch out your hand with your rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.' "

Exodus 8:16 So the LORD said to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Stretch out your rod, and strike the dust of the land, so that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.' "

EXO 9:23 And Moses stretched out his rod toward heaven; and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and fire darted to the ground. And the LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt.

24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, so very heavy that there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

25 And the hail struck throughout the whole land of Egypt, all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail struck every herb of the field and broke every tree of the field.

26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, there was no hail.

Exodus 10:13 So Moses stretched out his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind on the land all that day and all that night. And when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

EXO 17:5 And the LORD said to Moses, "Go on before the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel. Also take in your hand your rod with which you struck the river, and go.

6 "Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink." And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

7 So he called the name of the place Massah and Meribah, because of the contention of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, "Is the LORD among us or not?"

8 Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

9 And Moses said to Joshua, "Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand."

10 So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

11 And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

12 But Moses' hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

13 So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

14 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven."

15 And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-Lord-Is-My-Banner;

16 for he said, "Because the LORD has sworn: the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation."

18:1 And Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, heard of all that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people -- that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt.

HEB 9:3 and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All,

4 which had the golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;

Just some fun facts but Aarons rod that budded was in the ark of the covenant with the Commandments written in stone and a golden pot filled with manna (food from heaven for Israel when they were in the wilderness)

Interesting note on the Ark of the Covenant not containing this stick when Ron Wyatt discovered it:

Is it quite possible that this Rod of Aaron was missing from the cave because JtB possibly delivered it to Oliver Cowdery and Joseph Smith in 1829 and it then fell into the possession of Brigham Young?  I would have REALLY have liked to see this thing used when Johnson's Army rolled into town in 1859.  We need a good showdown between the forces of the evil one and God once again.  We need some schooling just as Pharoah and his peeps did back in the day...  The USA is modern Egypt.

And this is just part of the reason we will not rip on Brigham Young here...

BURNING A BRIDGE - MORE ROD OF AARON FUN

This is a diary entry along with a little venting:

So, I sent the following information (in blue, below) to a member of my Bishopric that is over the area of the ward that I serve in with my wife.  It was in response to me "teaching false doctrine" in the class.  While the three year olds were coloring away on their pictures of Moses raising the rod prior to crossing the Red Sea, I took the opportunity to tell a few of the adults there my exciting discovery about the Rod of Aaron vs the Gift of Aaron in D&C 8.

Bro ______, here is the quote I was referencing earlier: An interesting notation in Anthon H. Lund's Journal for July 5,1901 states: "in the revelation to Oliver Cowdery in May 1829, Bro. [B. H.] Roberts said that the gift which the Lord says he has in his hand meant a stick which was like Aaron's Rod. It is said Bro. Phineas Young [brother-in-law of Oliver Cowdery and brother of Brigham Young] got it from him [Cowdery] and gave it to President Young who had it with him when he arrived in this [Salt Lake] valley and that it was with that stick that he pointed out where the Temple should be built."

You can look up an early manuscript of the Book of Commandments and see that it clearly states Rod of Aaron instead of the current Gift of Aaron. It likely was given to Oliver by the latest representative of that line which would have been John the Baptist, though I have not found statements to back that. Yet.

It is likely this stick or staff that will be used by the two Prophets to stay the armies in Jerusalem. It is my belief that one will be Elder Holland. We are close.

Lund was a member of the First Presidency when he made that statement: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthon_H._Lund He also served concurrently as Church Historian during a period of 20 years. If you would be so kind, please pass this info along to any concerned parents…. My sources are quite sound.

Yes - kids who can barely count to 3 let alone understand what a tent is (I was trying to explain the ten commandments and about the tabernacle in the wilderness yesterday), were like 99.999998% chance of not understanding the least of what I was talking about to the adults there helping my wife and I, even if it were truly apostate information.  So, we passed on this cool information a few weeks ago and similar adults were there yesterday, so I relayed my "sin" to them joking about how silly it was to a guy who was subbing in for my wife and who also got kicked out of subbing in for Seminary after "teaching false doctrine"....

After class, I was in the hall and bumped into the guy who has called me out for wearing sandals to church (when my foot was swollen after driving three days non-stop across Canada), having facial hair and so much else (of course, I picture this guy yelling from the crowd to "Crucify him!!!  Crucify him!!! in Pharisaical fashion...).  SMH....  And we wonder why people who are not perfect cookie cutters - but who have great hearts - leave and never come back.  My MIL is among those who were driven out/ostracized after a divorce and that rigidity has resulted in shock waves.  I think of all of those sons who could have gone on missions, etc if people had shown a little more empathy and love, etc.  Ah, the devil is crafty at his game....  Most are just there to commune with God.  Again, it is clear that the gospel must be true - because the work still manages to go forward in spite of the rest of the equation.  So sad - because I do not think we can make it through the narrow spot between now and Zion, until we change that attitude towards our brothers and sisters and shed our destructive traditions.  Jesus said it best when speaking to the Pharisees of the day, that their pedigrees and genealogies are useless unless their hearts are in the right place.  Basically, he could turn the stones into better children of Abraham than the self-righteous Jews were....  Dumb as a rock (spiritually) comes to mind....

I cannot help but think about how important it is here in Cardston to be from one of the founding families.  Usually, you are asked who you are related to.  It is immaterial; we are all children of God.  End of story.  God can raise up rocks who can serve more easily and effectively if we become filled with pride over our genealogies.  There is a lot of looking down on the local natives (who admittedly can have substance abuse issues - and often can bring on crime due to needing drug money, etc).  BUT, the more righteous part of them will win the day when their brothers and sisters from the 10 tribes come through and take them to their glorious destiny in the NJ.  Meanwhile, they are trodden upon by the Canadian government and by many of the citizens, completely unaware of their role in treading down the wicked Gentiles (us), when we have been brought low by (likely) disease and war with other Gentile/Heathen nations (read China, Iran/Indian and Russia - and possibly Brazil; BRIC).

So I am standing in the hall talking with this fellow and asked him if he got my Messenger the other week correcting him on his calling me out on "false doctrine".  I had my back to the foyer as he pointed out that it was a "nefarious comment".  That was stated again as the Bishop (a guy who has his head on straight from everything my daughter tells me) walked past me.  Forgive me for being ignorant of the real meaning of nefarious - but I would have corrected him yet again on the usage of that word:

ne·far·i·ous
/nəˈferēəs/
adjective
(typically of an action or activity) wicked or criminal.

Sheesh....  Thankfully, I was ignorant so it did not really blow up.  But I could tell he was pretty mad that I had called him out.  I am not sure if it is an authority thing?  Or what, but I respect those who merit it.  Apologizing for a mistake is part of earning my respect.

So, I continue to get called out.  He then explains that the words of a current Prophet trump anything from someone who was a two-time member of the First Presidency and the Church Historian for over 20 years (concurrent responsibilities).  Lund would have been the next Prophet had he not died from a chronic duodenic ulcer at 77 years old in 1921.  Still not good enough for my "Crucify him!!" buddy.  I pointed out that the section in the D&C referencing that is still in the D&C.  Not good enough for him.  Point out that the Book of Commandments published first and then one or two early editions of the D&C still reference the original wording and those are still doctrine and not nefarious information....

Needless to say, it did not go well.  People hate logic and common sense.

Meanwhile, I will still try and figure out what was so offensive about finding out about a relic that is on par with the Liahona or even possibly the Urim and Thumim (probably more correctly, the seer stone) that is in the church archives, etc.  The way things are worded in verse 9, it makes me wonder if it literally pointed to the spot in the valley (not much unlike a dousing rod in the search for water), where the temple would be placed (Brigham Young: "Here, we shall build a temple to our God!"), where it would rest just above the massive granite plug that rises out of the SL Valley - that will keep it from subsiding during the "big one" on the Wasatch Fault).  So much cool stuff out there....  This stuff just turns my crank!  The problem I think is this:  people are actually embarrassed by this stuff (relics) and consider them backwards or primitive?  As such, they have little faith or belief in this kind of stuff, therefore they just want it to go away?  For the unbelieving DoC crowd, this kind of thing would only serve to bolster anything good about Brigham Young.  Rods of God, seerstones, etc tend to not work in the hands of one who is wicked (has nefarious intent...), so if Brigham was able to receive revelation through it as to where to build the temple so that it indeed will stand through an EQ so large that mountains are literally displaced, then he may just not have been a Joseph murderer and impostor.  See the implications here?  Those who are incapable of having miracles in their lives for whatever reason, see it as impossible only because they are not endowed with such power/means, so it seems ludicrous and impossible to conceive of.

I love knowledge and decry anyone that bats it down.  When I relayed this whole thing to my wife, she just said maybe it is time to leave (Cardston).  This truly is the manifestation of the salt losing it's savor.  The Jews of the day were VERY good at keeping every jot and tittle of the Law - but horribly bad at keeping the true intent of it as their wickedness and adulterating behavior smothered out what it truly meant to be disciples of Christ.

I was talking to my BYU student yesterday about relationships and what are the most important elements in making it work for me, and the thing that makes it special/meaningful for me and way better than any amount of mind-blowing sex, good cooking, earning potential, back rubs, etc:  is that my woman loves and understands the Gospel as well as funky arcane and cool knowledge like this stuff.  I could not live without that love of learning (and open mindedness enough to accept the near impossible) in my life.  All else pales by comparison to that.  It also helps that she is wise, gentle (when I need correcting) and a very attractive 50+ year old!

Now this is not all thy agift; for you have another gift, which is the gift of Aaron; behold, it has told you many things;

Behold, there is no other power, save the power of God, that can cause this gift of Aaron to be with you.
