THE KILLING OF ZECHARIAH AND THE ABOMINATION DESOLATION

Wow - this is interesting.....  Israel's former PM, Ariel Sharon is finally dead - and this may bring about prophesied changes in the Holy Land (link to previous post).  Will we become part of those who flee before the abomination or will we be hewn down with all the others that have been tainted so much with Babylon that they cannot be redeemed and must fall before the reset button is pushed on society?

Here is something from Roger Young from AVOW.  I agree with him - we will see huge changes this year culminating in 2015/2016 with dire things.  Folks, the die is cast.

Young this New Years Day Well, it is early New Years day and I had another dream. You need to understand that I am not a dreamer. In all of my life I can only recall two dreams that were "special." Now, I have talked to a lot of people who have the gifts of dreams and visions, perhaps hundreds. These people see things and communicate frequently with the other side via these means. But, alas I don't. Usually, I wake up and I remember nothing. If I do have some dreams within a few minutes they are gone and I remember nothing. However, lately... I have been waking up and the dreams have stayed longer. They have all been about preparing for what is coming.    The dreams have all the same message... time has run out and I and my familiy is not prepared. Time has run out and we didn't do enough. I immediately get up (even though it is 6:30 am) and start working on my "things I need to do to get better prepared" list. What follows are my thoughts over the next couple of hours.    I beg of you... please, please, please take steps while you still can to prepare for what is coming. At least buy extra cans of stew, fruit, bags of rice, wheat...anything that will help sustain life for a few months or longer. Get good shoes, backpacks, cold weather clothing. Pay off debts. Have cash. ......... Unbelievably, another year has passed and when I look back and review what has happened, I praise and thank God we have had another year of relative peace. I say relative, because here in Idaho we are at relative peace. Life goes on almost normally. It is good that we are so far behind the rest of the world. However, that is not the case with most of the people around the world and a good portion here in the U.S. Unfortunately, the prophecies of the last days are coming to pass. The really bad stuff is getting ready to happen. It is like we, at least here in the U.S., are being given one last chance to change our course, to reverse the evil and wickedness that is overtaking the country before it is allowed to destroy everything. There are a few who are heading the call...but, unfortunately not enough.    Food for thought: ARE WE ABOUT TO REPEAT HISTORY? Jerusalem, circa 589 BC...one year before the great destruction of the great city and the country. (The destruction which the Savior called the Desolation of Abomination because it was so terrible.) At this point in time, the kingdom of Israel has degenerated into wickedness and apostasy and is divided into fighting political factions. Good has become evil, and evil has become the favored norm. The vast majority of people, lead by their political leaders, have rejected their God and His ten commandments and have turned to idolatry...specifically, the worship of Baal*. Homosexuality and immorality are rampant and Jerusalem has become very much like Sodom and Gomorrah just before it was destroyed.    *"The pagan nature worship of Baal was purposefully described with such graphic sexual language precisely because cult prostitution and sexual mysticism was a big part of the nature worship process. Sexual fertility cults and the desire for a corresponding agricultural fertility were weaved together into a pornographic nature worship scheme that corrupted the entire nation and its people. Throughout Israel's and Judah's history, this deviant and natural instinctual behavior, in great contrast to the dictates of the Mosaic Law, was most often associated with the worship of the nature god Baal. Places for the worship of Baal, which included deviant sexual perversions (homosexuality, beastiality, mass orgies, et. al.) and human child sacrifice, were built in "groves" and on the top of hills all over Israel."   Besides sexual perversity, the city and land are also full of violence, disease, plagues, etc. It seems that all things are in turmoil, and yet the majority of people say that life is generally good. The few who still try to keep the commandments have been pretty much driven out of the area, or have been murdered, or have left as directed by Jeremiah. Jeremiah, the prophet of God has been imprisoned and sentenced to death. Only because of some secret supporters among the kings servants has he remained alive. The corrupt and arrogant leaders of Israel, headed by king Zedekiah, have refused to pay their tribute to Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar and his army have left and returned back to Babylon with some of the inhabitants of Israel. He has promised to return the following year with his full army and punish the rebellion with total destruction. Meanwhile, he has offered sanctuary (peace and safety) for those Israelites who would surrender and move to Babylon. Jeremiah, prophesying the destruction of Jerusalem, has encouraged the righteous to take the offer. Some have. Among them are Daniel and his three companions. Jeremiah wrote the word of the Lord concerning those who remained in Jerusalem: "Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them: Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets" (Jer 29:17-19). Ezekial, the prophet called of God for the Northern tribes also prophesied of the destruction of Jerusalem because of the wickedness of the people. "Thus saith the Lord GOD . . . Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places. And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols." (Ezek. 6:3-4). "the end is come upon the four corners of the land [of Judah]. . . for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city [of Jerusalem] is full of violence" (Ezek. 7: 2, 23). The record indicates that the Lord has given the people of Israel one last chance to repent before total destruction would come upon them. Jeremiah's scribe Baruch read to Zedekiah and many of the leaders of Israel the prophecies of destruction that would come upon Israel if they did not repent:    "Take for yourself a scroll and write upon it all the words that I have spoken to you concerning Israel and concerning Judah. . . . Perhaps the house of Judah will hear all the evil that I plan to do to them, in order that they should repent, each man of his evil way, and I will forgive their iniquity and their sin." Zedekiah burns Jeremiah's scroll as an act of defiance. He, and the other leaders feel that Jerusalem is too big to be destroyed. They make an alliance with Egypt to help bolster their defense. The following year... 588 BC Nebechadnezzar returned to Israel with the largest army the world had ever seen in recorded history. The siege of Jerusalem lasted almost two years. (30 lunar months.) At the end of the siege cannibalism was rampant among the people including the slaughter of children and babies for food. The city was destroyed, the temple looted and burned, and the rebellious leaders and false priests were executed. There is an interesting story in the Jewish Talmud about why the leaders and priests were executed: "In 661 BCE, the prophet Zechariah ben Jehoiada chastised the nation for their sins, warning them of the grave punishments that would befall them if they would not change their ways. Rather than accept his rebuke, the nation stoned Zechariah to death in the Temple courtyard. Incredibly, this occurred on Yom Kippur. "Rather than allowing Zechariah's blood to settle into the earth, G-d caused it to bubble up. The people tried to cover it with earth, but it continued to seethe for the next 252 years, until the Destruction of the Temple by Nebuzaradan (Nebuchadnezzar.) . "Our Sages say that when Nebuzaradan entered the Temple he found the blood of Zechariah seething. He asked the Jews what this phenomenon meant, and they attempted to conceal the scandal, but he threatened to comb their flesh with iron combs. So they told him the truth: "There was a prophet among us who chastised us, and we killed him. For many years now his blood has not rested."   "Nebuzaradan said, "I will appease him." He then killed the members of the Great and Small Sanhedrins, then he killed youths and maidens, and then school-children. Altogether, he killed 940,000 people. Still the blood continued to boil, whereupon Nebuzaradan cried: "Zechariah, Zechariah! I have slain the best of them; do you want all of them destroyed?" At last the blood sank into the ground (Talmud, Gittin 57b) ARE WE ON THE VERGE OF DESTRUCTION...SIMILAR TO JERUSALEM-ISRAEL IN 589 BC? BACK TO CURRENT TIMES: Good has become evil, Evil has become the preferred and celebrated norm.   Christians, are being slaughtered all over the world on a daily basis. Violence in the big U.S. cities, especially racial violence, is increasing almost weekly. The agents of evil are getting ready to slam the lid on the trap they have constructed. When it happens, it will happen quickly. Who would have guessed that China would brazenly publish maps and talk about how they can (and will?) attack the United States with nuclear weapons and defeat the United States if (and when) they went to war. China has talked of these things quietly for some time, mostly among it's politicians and military. But, now they are publishing this stuff openly...mocking the U.S. Of course, 3 ½ years ago Russia published a map in the official government newspaper of how Russia and China would divide up the U.S. after they defeated it in war. China, Russia and their allies are prepared and ready to come to America, lay siege to it, and basically execute desolation and abomination. Modern times version of Nebuchadnezzar. They are just waiting for "the word" to come. Thankfully, or mercifully... it appears that "the word" will not happen in 2014. (There are reasons why, and lots of other things that will happen in 2014 which is discussed in the Jan GRI.) Meanwhile, I am making plans to buy another ton of wheat, more rice and beans while I still can. I hope you do the same. Roger
