DR NAOMI WOLF AND THE VACCINE PASSPORT

Well, I have to say, I am awaiting some message other than the crap that has been trickling out in the Church Handbook on this whole vaccine thing.

When I hear a former liberal icon (who worked for the enemy for the past several decades and whom I now am in full lock-step with), speak the truth that I crave, I do not have words.  Folks, it is so painfully clear that this is heading to where China is now, in all it's dystopian hellish glory - and if I do not hear clear language at Conference, I will officially throw our leadership under the bus as having been sold out.

https://youtu.be/pWoDbGNt4wg

And I will just hunker down for the Section 85 appearance of One who will get this shiz straightened out.  So far, the only wimper I have heard from SLC has been from Elder Bednar (Davidic Bednar?).  Other than that; crickets.

I do not care if I lose my recommend, my membership, and so much else over this.  I have always expected that true leadership takes a stone to the temple, some fuego at the stake and so much else in defense of truth.  As I have said earlier, Jan 20th was one of the worst days of my life.  I knew it was over; it was my Hirohito on the Missouri moment from a political and a spiritual standpoint.

At this point, it was going to be an incredibly hard journey (mostly alone) going forward.

Listen to the link and ask yourself what your future holds with things as they are.

Thankfully, the doctrine is perfect.  Thankfully, we still have a Savior who WILL come to save a people sold out by Bibi, Biden and so much else.

And one last thought.  My wife and I were talking about our sudden visitor last night.  She is a great lady and the Spirit whispered that she is the first of many refugees who will come in so many ways and forms as social, political, monetary exigencies press upon people and they are sent here and many other places for refuge.  It was not lost on my that she showed up in the middle of this week of weeks - possibly as an indicator or harbinger of things to come.  We expect that it will be a luxury to sleep in our own beds going forward as things crescendo.  It will be a glorious thing to be temporal and spiritual saviors on Mount Zion.

  1. Editorial in the Deseret News, 11 November 1900

To the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Greeting:

The widespread feeling of fear and anxiety concerning the prevalence of smallpox in this city has caused us to advise that the Latter-day Saints college be closed for a short time, until the excitement is allayed concerning that institution of learning and others where people are in danger of exposure to this dread disease. We take this opportunity of suggesting to the people generally that they employ every precaution to prevent the spread of the contagion, by seeing to it that those who are or have been exposed exclude themselves strictly from public association with others, lest they be the means of communicating the disease. To the question of vaccination we have given careful thought and consideration; and our conclusion is that where care is taken as to cleanliness and purity of the vaccine matter, the treatment is beneficial, in that if it does not prove a preventative, it at least acts as a palliative, that is, it robs the plague of much of its terror by causing it to assume in the case of a vaccinated person, a lighter form. We are aware that there is a difference of opinion in the community as to the merits of this question; and, while we have regarded it largely as a matter of individual choice, we have felt reluctant to express ourselves publicly upon it. Now, however, we feel to publish the foregoing as our conclusion; and we therefore suggest and recommend that the people generally avail themselves of the opportunity to become vaccinated, using the utmost care to procure the services of those who are competent and will be conscientious in supplying only the purest virus that can be obtained. We feel in our minds justified in making this recommendation, and trust that it will be generally adopted.

Signed: Lorenzo Snow and George Q. Cannon.

    1. Back in 1900 vaccinating against smallpox involved taking pus from someone who was sick and inserting it into cuts in the skin of the one to be vaccinated. That's quite a different thing, then what we have today.

  2. My intent of sending this was get you or anyone upset on the Churches stance. It was to inform of what is coming.
I have not gotten the vaccine. The jury is still out for my wife and I. The vaccine I believe could help but feel deeply that it has been exploited by the Gads to bring about their evil designs. Need to watch Glen Beck on the ESG score (Economic, Social and Governance). This all goes hand in hand. This has been masterfully planned.
It is hitting on all sides and very fast. Just need to put the pieces together.
My mind keeps reflecting on past quotes from President Nelson. “Running out of time” “Won’t make it without guiding influence of the HG” “We have a front row seat” “buckle your seat belts”. “ Take your vitamins”. I know he knows what is happening and what’s coming.

  3. I really hope you don't go down that road. The Lord has promised that He won't allow the prophet to lead us astray.

We have to accept the fact that there's a whole lot we don't know that will be revealed in time. Church leadership DOES know more than we do about some things; I wouldn't be surprised if they have personal meetings with the Savior Himself at times. Don't deceive yourself into thinking that you know better than President Nelson does.

And I say that as a member who IS awake and isn't getting the Covid vaccine and doesn't believe it's nearly as good as people think it is, even though President Nelson and the others got it. Perhaps they'll be protected from its negative effects. Perhaps I'm wrong in my concerns and there aren't negative long-term effects. Whatever the case turns out to be, I choose to have faith in the prophet and to trust in the safety that brings me, while also relying on personal revelation through the Holy Ghost.

    1. You say the Lord has promised that he won't allow the prophet to lead us astray. Can you point me to where it says that in the scriptures? I have been searching and searching and although we hear that phrase tossed around a lot, there seems to be no actual scriptural basis for it. But I did find these gems:

“I make no claim of infallibility.”

      Spencer W. Kimball, Improvement Era, June 1970, p. 93

“We make no claim of infallibility or perfection in the prophets, seers, and revelators.”

      James E. Faust, Ensign, November 1989, p. 11

“The First Presidency cannot claim, individually or collectively, infallibility.”

George Q. Cannon Gospel Truth: Discourses and Writings of President George Q. Cannon, 1957, 1:206

“We respect and venerate” (the prophet), but “we do not believe that his personal views or utterances are revelations from God.”

Elder Charles W. Penrose, Millennial Star, 54:191

“Even the President of the Church has not always spoken under the direction of the Holy Ghost.”

Elder J. Reuben Clark, quoted in Faithful History: Essays on Writing Mormon History, p. 82

“…if He (God) should suffer him (Joseph Smith) to lead the people astray, it would be because they ought to be led astray…it would be because they deserved it…”

Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, 4:297-298

“The First Presidency have of right a great influence over this people; and if we should get out of the way and lead this people to destruction, what a pity it would be! How can you know whether we lead you correctly, or not? Can you know by any other power than that of the Holy Ghost? I have uniformly exhorted the people to obtain this living witness each for themselves; then no man on earth can lead them astray.”

Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, 6:100

“I am more afraid that this people have so much confidence in their leaders that they will not inquire for themselves of God whether they are led by him. I am fearful they settle down in a state of blind self-security, trusting their eternal destiny in the hands of their leaders with a reckless confidence that in itself would thwart the purposes of God in their salvation…Let every man and woman know, by the whispering of the Spirit of God to themselves, whether their leaders are walking in the path the Lord dictates, or not.”

Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, 14:205

Official Church web site The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

“The Lord uses imperfect people…He often allows their errors to stand uncorrected. He may have a purpose in doing so, such as to teach us that religious truth comes forth “line upon line, precept upon precept” in a process of sifting and winnowing similar to the one I know so well in science.”

Henry Eyring, Reflections of a Scientist, p. 47

“There are exceptions to some rules. For example, we believe the commandment is not violated by killing pursuant to a lawful order in an armed conflict. But don’t ask me to give an opinion on your exception. I only teach general rules. Whether an exception applies to you is your responsibility. You must work that out individually between you and the Lord.”

      Elder Dallin H. Oaks, Ensign, June 2006, p. 16

“We are all liable to error; are subject, more or less, to the errors incident to the human family. We would be pleased to get along without these errors, and many may think that a man in my standing ought to be perfect; no such thing.”

Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, 10:212

Elder Ronald Poelman, 1984 General Conference

“Forget everything I have said, or what…Brigham Young…or whomsoever has said… that is contrary to the present revelation. We spoke with a limited understanding and without the light and knowledge that now has come into the world.”

Elder Bruce R. McConkie, CES Conference, August 1978

  4. Welcome to the party. I started having concerns about the LDS leadership when they started hiding pedophilia in the scouting program. My son was molested by a male member of the church. My father was a bishop. I asked him why the LDS church hides from the membership the identities of the pedo's. He said, the bishops know who they are, we have great files on them. I responded, wow, how about the membership, why do we not know. The church does nothing to stop these predators, they are allowed to move freely amongst the congregation. People protect the rights of the predator and ignore the rights of the victims. Victims are told it is their cross to bear, their challenge. How sad and how wrong.

I was in ward council and the bishop said, so and so is at church today, we need to keep an eye on the bathrooms to protect the kids. The guy molested a 2 year old child. What kind of church allows these people to move freely in and amongst the congregation. That man should have been expelled from the building.

A different bishop had me and my 12 year old boys go to a convicted sex offenders home to work in HER yard. After I found out the situation I refused to return. The bishop was upset with ME. The local police sergeant was the YMP. He backed me up. He had a long talk with the bishop about how sex offenders do not stop being predators.

In that same ward, a psychologist was working with convicted sex offenders who were serving time. He was having them paint pictures and send them to victims of the predators. He said it was his saddest day when authorities found out and forced him to stop this valuable therapy.

30 some odd years ago a voice came into my head and asked if "I was willing to pull a Lehi in the desert?" Been preparing ever since. My location is different than yours, but is a place of refuse.

Also, when Isaiah describes how horribly wrong the LDS 15 act during the abomination of desolation, he details how the prophet at the time, falls to his knees in despair and calls a solemn assembly, God then intervenes and the church is brought to its proper role. Sad to say by that time 90% of the US population had been wiped clean like a razor.

While in the YM organization, I witnessed first hand how local leadership treated tithing funds. To them, it was like monopoly money. To be spent as frivolously as they wanted.

Finally, to leave for a place of refuse, following scriptural patterns, the church must be in a state of apostacy worthy of destruction, just like in Lehi's time.

I left the church long ago, but remain a firm believer in the scriptures especially the B of M. You cannot pull a Lehi in the desert and still remain a member of the church. Jacob clearly told us the vine yard will be burned...

Not a rant but a rant. Wade.

  5. Disappointed reading this -  I will officially throw our leadership under the bus as having been sold out.

Don't allow Satan in your heart. God knows his flock and knows what we can handle. Don't allow vaccines to pull you from the temple.

    Stay True!!

  6. "Unknown" -- I sympathize with your (fairly rare) experiences, but you're completely missing the forest for the trees. And your comment shows how much you're missing out on and misinterpreting in your inactivity. I don't say that to be snide. Also, places of "refuse" are quite a bit different than places of "refuge."

  7. Can anyone on this thread give me an example, from the scriptures or early church history, where doing you own thing (and ignoring the counsels of the prophet) actually turned out to be a good thing?

Or maybe an example where God told the prophet to do one thing and then God told someone else something contrary to the prophet, and it turns out the prophet got it wrong?

    1. Well, while the prophet Jeremiah was preaching "thou shalt not kill", God told Nephi to kill a guy with his own sword, use deception to obtain some records and flee the country. And when Abraham was told to sacrifice his son isaac, his first response was not "wait a minute the prophet says 'thou shalt not kill', that's breaking God's laws, I can't do that", but rather his first response was to fully intend to do what had been asked. Neither one of those two men would receive Temple recommends today, if they admitted in an interview with a bishop that they had committed murder or attempted murder, but "God told me to do it"

  8. samuel the lamanite is a good example, God does not "always" go through the prophet to let the world know, samuel was not the active prophet yet God went around the active prophet to announce one of the greatest gifts ever, the birth of the savior, and god had to tell the active prophet to write the words of an unknown man/prophet, god works in mysterious ways and im sure he will continue to do so. to say prophets are perfect is very naive. we know no one is perfect, which is why we will have to have the Holy Ghost to get through these later days. i have every intentions of staying active in the church. there was no commandment to get vaccinated. and thankfully they are not requiring my girl who is on a mission to get vaccinated.

  9. I have been in Bednar's presence and looked him directly in the eye.
If you are thinking he is the Davidic Servant, you are sadly mistaken. I suspect the guy has never read D&C 121, and if he has, clearly does not understand it. Just look how he treats his wife and that's all you need to know.
