I told him several years ago that one day he would be a manager - even after 25 years of just working in the trenches as a "rank and file" with no previous management experience. I had no idea he would take off like he has. He went from lead, to first level manager to Director in about 6 months time. He just gave me a second call getting a feel for whether I would be interested in a position down in Brazil for a large contract that is potentially coming up. He knows I speak the language and he knows my skills. He knows I have no fear of making the call and "gettin' r dun".
Many things are making me increasingly uneasy up here in the northern hemisphere. I am sure in some of my blog pieces, it comes out. I feel that I need to have maximum flexibility/mobility and be ready to get out at a moment's notice if things go one way or another. Getting my Canadian citizenship is a very high priority right now. Canada may close the borders to refugees, but it is highly unlikely that they would close it to a Canadian citizen. When things collapse, there will be an acute need for people who "saw" it come, and who have "seen" how it will unfold - and what to do to navigate the maelstrom. Brigham Young was one of those in his day. The collapse occurred (socially, mostly), and Joseph had given him enough of the vision that all he had to do, was to exert his existing leadership skills, and the people would follow him to (most of) the fruition of that vision. Likewise, shortly before Joseph was sent like a lamb to the slaughter, his impulse was to bolt across the river and to safety. I have wondered much about how different things might have been, had this occurred at that critical juncture. Would he have lived to be 85 years old? Would the people have followed his example and pure teachings to a truly Consecrated life, or would strife, division and selfishness still have overcome them?
Where ever I am planted, I will be needed and useful. I am struggling with my feelings about staying in the Northern Hemisphere right now, knowing what is coming. I do not have a complete lion heart, or I would stick it out and gut it out - but before every big trial as I see the dark clouds begin to roil on my horizon, my first impulse is to bolt. Then, I will often gain the courage and stamina to endure the trial and see it to it's fruition. I have slowly learned that running from my problems does not produce the character I was sent here to develop. The lesson of trusting in God's timing and ways is a life-long one.
Life has a funny way of working itself out, but it can be unnerving at times. Especially in the face of what is looming large, just over the horizon. Here is what got me spun up:

The dark spots indicate the highest radiation intensity. These are made by placing X-ray paper over the test sample for hours. The radiation burns into the image as it would burn your cells/DNA if inhaled or digested. Fukushima is going to be the death of millions and millions of people for these areas sampled farthest being 65km have millions of people living in them and as these test show more contamination the father away from fukushima. These hot particles (dark spots in the photo)
get lodged in to the body like the lung: this is a hot particle in lung tissue [link to www.facebook.com (secure)]
Car air filters from Seattle Tokyo and Fukushima were taken and preformed this same X-ray paper test results were very bad [link to www.facebook.com (secure)]
People is Seattle usa breathed 5 hot particles per day for the month of april. people in tokyo breathed 10 hot paticls a day for the month of April. if you are a athletic or exercise times that by 2. look at the numbers, they don't change much from tokyo from Seattle. see the video of Arnie Gunderson explaining this here [link to www.youtube.com (secure)]
same procedure we can radioactivity in a birds

this is that bird that made that radiation print [link to www.facebook.com (secure)]

This is bad news for humanity as it means we have accumulating substances in the food chain that over time will be disastrous to all life.
All the above pictures are from Japan but there was also evidence of iodine in Ontario Canada

When I was a young girl, I had a clear sense of self. I instinctively knew I was a complete coward, yet somehow also knew I would be needed for something that would to take great courage one day in my life. Then one day when I was eight years old (I was not baptized until I was ten) I clearly recall struggling with these two very apposing parts of myself. So, I kneeled in prayer and asked Heavenly Father to give me the strength and courage of a lion. Looking back on 45 years, I see that my prayer has been answered in the form of life lessons. My life has been about struggle, leadership and facing my fears. Over and over again I am put into situations that gives me the opportunity to choose whether I'm going to be the coward, or be the lion. I now know that I have been through the refiner’s fire for a reason.
I have been reading your blog for about a year, and cannot tell you how much I appreciate not only the wide range of information you post, but also, putting yourself out there for all to see. I appreciate your honesty, integrity, courage and vulnerability. I think those of us that are "awake" do have moments of wanting to run, but ultimately know there is nowhere to run; and that we will have to turn and face this down with all the courage that has been put there through the great wisdom and love of our Heavenly Father.
