We really are in trouble. All of us. I am not pointing the finger.
We accumulate and accumulate all the while consuming it upon our lusts. As a group, we have 110 billion in nice little rainy day kitty. Folks, imagine if you will, an army of skilled service missionaries (retirees) and a few water drilling rigs, coursing around Africa or India, funded with just one of those billions (maybe with proceeds from the sale of the Pfizer and Moderna stocks) providing a fresh source of water for an impoverished or underserved people. The same thing in the West where we don't even think of dropping a cool billion on a bridge to get across a river, etc. while a road barely exists to service large towns in Africa.
We will hoard that money until the collapse of Babylon and many will weep bitterly because of the loss, but the opportunity to help will have passed; our salvation and collective destiny foiled. Then there will be weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth as those whose faces we have ground upon by not sharing our substance with them. They will Lord over us as those who have merited salvation while we have already achieved our telestial reward in terms of temporal things.

As the above video (must watch) states, our sin is as that of Sodom (greater than the actual sin of sodomy, which foils the first commandment given to man), which is withholding the substance given to us liberally from our Maker.
It is quite baffling when I meet someone who is incredibly tight with their money (it seems the more they have, often the more tight they are with it), because they cannot take it with them. When my father (who was quite generous to those in need) lost our inheritances through a bad business deal, several children just fought over it like so many vultures. The children I respect, just walked away from the vulturing in disgust. I do not understand the mentality.....
I had a medical emergency and was out of commission for six weeks over Covid. Many self-righteous I am sure condemned me (us) for avoiding the shot. Several did reach out to see if they could help us since I am the primary provider in the household. I do not care to think of those that did not, but to point out that someone who has been blessed, did reach out to the tune of about 8500 dollars and helped us to get through our tight spot. This individual is consecrated, and the Lord has blessed him with incredible means. He is living the Gospel as we read in the instruction manuals. Not just loose-lipped mouth service, but real help. Alan Ashton of Word Perfect fame said it best when he said that the more he gave away, the more that came his way. In the false gospel of prosperity, the mind-set is that the more you have, it means that the Lord loves you more. The tendency is to consume it upon our lusts and accumulate and accumulate while grinding on the face of the poor and refusing to help. This is not the spirit of Zion. We must be willing to give (and actively giving) all in susataining our brethren.
We need to awaken from our awful situation.
I like you, and i am being patient with your faith crisis in the brethren. This guy who did the video is a idiot. I have watched some of his other videos and read some thing where he willfully mislead people in what he was saying. There is no way he is so stupid with the supposed research he has done. Dont watch his stuff. I think he is much like the mormon stories guy now.
ReplyDeleteI will tell you this. I dont understand why the first presidency did the 2nd and third letter. I dont agree with them. But i do know with a 100% certainty all three of those men are prophets and are righteous and in good standing with the Lord. Maybe they made a mistake like Joseph Did with the 116 pages. I will tell you this. I have meet president Nelson and i know he is inspired. I have studied covid religiously since my dad dies from it 11/2020. I know it is a deepstate plan and shots are bad. I have not and will not get it. I dont know why first presidency did what they did. But i do know i am not all knowing and i am not perfect. So i did as the lord said and did not get the shot. But i know other who i know are inspired who have heard an audible voice to get the shot. So i think it is based on the person situation. Maybe by the prophet saying what he did he neutralized some of the ill affects it would have had on some people. Yes i know many have died and will die from the shot. But the only thing i do know with certainty is president nelson is the prophet. So i take this one and only concern i have and it put it on the shelf and leave it there and i move forward. I will not let this rob me of my eternal blessing that come in and through the church from Christ. There is no other way or means. So i move forward with faith as you should. Like the post from the other day we will be put through some trials and this is one for conservatives and thinking people. Some times leaders have to do things they dont like like joseph burning the printing press in Nauvoo, but he had to it was the lesser of two evils.

D & C 10:67 clarifies what it means to be a member of Christ church, "Behold, this is my doctrine—whosoever repenteth and cometh unto me, the same is my church.
That is all it takes to be apart of Christ's church and anyone can do it.
Prophets of all ages have led people astray and they will do so in our day as well. Don't fall prey to the cunning of the devil, which putting your trust in the arm of flesh (even if prophet is his title) absolutely is.

Talk about false doctrine, my goodness. We must be disciples of Christ if we want to be with Christ. NO PERSON can be exalted or return to HEAVEN without being baptised. Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Gift of Holy Ghost, Priesthood, Temple Ordinances and Second Comforter and Anointing whether in this life or the next. That is Jacobs ladder, rung by rung. Jesus himself said no man can see the kingdom of heaven without these things. Nephi said this is the only way....... For you to say anything others than this is false doctrine and you know it whether you are a member or not. NO ONE can ignore the WORDS of CHRIST and disregard them so clearly laid out and then say they can just worship the savior with vain words and no follow the path he has outlined for them. ReplyDeleteI am mystified by the actions of some of the brethren right now. Things just do not make sense to me. As far as the church having much wealth and not getting people out of poverty I have prayed over this one. My answer has been that God's children are exactly where they need to be on this planet to learn exactly what they need to learn. For some people they may need to learn through poverty. It seems unfair but God knows exactly what he is doing and what is best for each of his children. I have learned some lessons in life from unexplainable pain. I hated going through those experiences but know that my progression would have lacked without them. It is hard but I trust that God's plan is perfect.

ReplyDeleteI am familiar with these B of M verses. I am still evaluating what these all mean and how that verbiage relates to our day and time. These are patterns that we can find in the past. The Jews at Christ's time were in a state of apostasy for almost 400 years as they had rejected the prophets and turned to a complicated set of rules to guide them.
Has anyone noticed how regimented and codified our religion has become? Leadership tends to excommunicate some people a little too readily, like they are on a hairpin trigger. I admit to being more laissez faire, but it is because it is a baser nature of man to want to control. We worry so much about these individuals that have little influence, only on small portion of the membership. There is plenty of stuff out their to deceive the people, one of the reasons we are here, is to learn to identify the deceptions.
People may believe they have received their answer to receive the shot and mask-up. I don't know how many stories I have heard, when I was in the student wards many years ago, more than a few girls were sure they this boy or that was the right one for them, but the boy was not interested. Emotions, preconceptions, prejudices all play a part in contaminating a persons receiving of revelation, or inspiration. Without "objective" research of information and time to assess the information, be willing to open your heart and mind to knowing, removing all prejudice willing to look at options and not what society, media, government and a perceive majority believe. I don't care how righteous or great moral standing you may appear to be or even a prophet, the rules are all the same. Plenty of prophets in these latter days and the past have ignored or just been blind to receiving.
Skepticism is not a characteristic of LDS leadership. People are social beings, they generally work hard to be like the rest to express themselves in the characteristic patterns of those they like to emulate, such as General Authorities at conference. People condition themselves to follow the expected patterns of thinking and reasoning. I see this as possibly playing a part in where our GA's background, as to why they may not properly vet this whole covid thing. They work their way up through the ranks of Bishop, Stake President, sometimes they will show up in the 70's and end up in the 12. These people are all very capable, skilled and successful in their chosen professions, in areas where they come to the attention of the Leadership. I presume they are as much a product of the media complex as most people are, maybe even more so. Which explains in my mind why they have little or no time to listen to talk radio, vet the internet, to look at the opposition. It seems simple and easy enough.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend that once worked at the church office bldg., who still has friends there, mentioned a meeting, this last year, of some of the brethren where Elder Bednar read the "riot act", telling them that the 12 has the final say. I don't know the issue, we can only guess the issue that would have caused great conflict would be the church's covid stand. Leadership continues to be an enigma.

Some of it you have heard before and some you may not have heard.
I have no idea if the advertised mRNA shot is given to everyone, maybe just plecebos for some others could be any number of mRNA experimental shots, no one would know the difference. Shots just come to hospitals or clinics with a batch number on it and no one would know what is in these serums.
I am seeing a some suspicious events just in my small world:
My wife who had not had a shot, has had shingles in May of 2021; at this point, most people had got their shots and shopping at costco and going to church you are going to get a lot of shedding of spike proteins.
I have a niece who's husband (69) had no heart issues suddenly drop dead one day this last summer, no autopsy, ruled as heart attack. Don't dare ask family if he had a shot, I kind of doubt he did but his wife would most likely had a shot.
A classmate of mine, (69) in the spring of last year dropped dead going out to the barn with his dog. Ruled a heart attack. I have no background on any of his health conditions.
It seems spike proteins will pretty well flood over all of us.
I take dandelion, or a white tea. I also take Jack's Longlife Energy Enzymes, that he designed to eat foreign proteins in the body that he used to help his pancreas heal. "Theoretically" it may deal with these foreign spike proteins.
Anyone who advocated the shots is at least guilty of involuntary manslaughter. I write this grieving as I have friends and family are doctors and nurses. All of them violated their codes of conduct and the law. The leaders of this Church thought they could make a deal with the cabal (Isaiah 28) and it would be helpful? How?
ReplyDeleteTo the author, I'm sorry to hear about your illness. I just had covid as well and I was down and out hard for two weeks. I can't imagine six weeks. It is worth it to avoid these shots. They are an abomination. Please let us know if we can help still. The days are getting very short.

ReplyDeleteI was back in Kirtland, Ohio, and thought I would take a walk out by myself and view my old farm, which I found grown up with weeds and brambles, and altogether bearing evidence of neglect and want of culture. I went into the barn, which I found without floor or doors, with the weather boarding off, and was altogether in keeping with the farm.
While I viewed the desolation around me, and was contemplating how it might be recovered from the curse upon it, there came rushing into the barn a company of furious men who commenced to pick a quarrel with me.
The leader of the party ordered me to leave the barn and the farm, stating it was none of mine and that I must give up all hope of ever possessing it.
I told him the farm was given me, and although I had not had any use of it for some time back, still, I had not sold it, and according to righteous principles it belonged to me.
He then grew furious and began to rail upon me, and threaten me, and said it never did belong to me.
I then told him that I did not think it worth contending about, that I had no desire to live upon it in its present state, and if he thought he had a better right, I would not quarrel with him about it, but leave. But my assurance that I would not trouble him at present did not seem to satisfy him, as he seemed determined to quarrel with me, and threatened me with destruction of my body.
While he was thus engaged, pouring out his bitter words upon me, a rabble rushed in and nearly filled the barn, drew out their knives, and began to quarrel among themselves for the premises, and for a moment forgot me, at which time I took the opportunity to walk out of the barn, about up to my ankles in mud.
When I was a little distance from the barn, I heard them screeching and screaming in a very distressed manner, as it appeared they had engaged in a general fight with their knives. While they were thus engaged, the dream or vision ended.
I listened to too much punk rock as a kid to take anything at face value, and from the south so I distrust in the government anyway. I always weight out both sides and try to argue a different point of view in anything we discuss in our family. My daughters love to try to find another way in anything the world tells us. But in the end, prayer is where it is at. Eye on the record and mind on the lord.
