What he says about what they did to Syria - what they plan and are doing to, here in America:

It is the same people (Soros and company). They want to usher in their demonic kingdom. It is an epic struggle right now.

MIKE STROUD'S PODCASTS ARE NOW IN BOOK FORM
I am yet to get into what is out there - but I have heard nothing but good on this stuff including from my wife. If she like something, I usually dig into it. We are carved from the same block of wood in the things we gravitate towards:
https://www.amazon.com/Highly-Favored-Lord-Stroud-Podcasts/dp/1541010183/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486348779&sr=8-1&keywords=highly+favored%2C+mike+stroud
I just signed up for the pod-casts so I can listen to them during slow periods at work. I am too low-tech to figure out how to get this on my phone. Where is my daughter when I need her??....
http://mstroud.podomatic.com/
For those who are on the road a lot - this is recommended. I do not mind listening to scrips while rolling - but there is something about being able to put eyes on words, while listening that just does something for me. Hear, read, mark-up, take notes, explain to/discuss with someone else are the five levels of learning. Each one that can be incorporated into a regimen increases the power of the learning experience.

IRANIAN MISSILES - HERE COMES THE BAIT; WAIT FOR THE SWITCH
I feel that Sarah Menet was spot on. What she said about the Iranian nuke was conditional upon us mixing things up in the ME; which we indeed did do.
Things are set up PERFECTLY. Now, they are talking 7 minutes from Iran to Tel Aviv; which will put all their anti-missile forces on the east side of the country, facing Iran. The whole time, Iran will be staging and prepping the missile in Libya; just as described.
I think Iran feels pressured to act quickly before Trump (Cyrus) does something amazing to bring Iran to her knees. He is my kind of man; defines a problem and crushes it. Act now decisively; ask questions later and sort out the mess from within the pile of rubble. The whole "wishy-washy" thing is an exercise for wimps. Same thing when using the Priesthood - find the will of the Lord; then just do it in faith and power. We had a lesson on exercising P-hood yesterday and talked about blessings - and faith. I talked about the morning we lost our kid and how I called the HT to get over to our place and crush the problem; until I came to a realization (without realizing it), that it was not the will of the Lord, to do so.
Right after the bloc, I was asking the Bishop if my records happened to have finally come in, so I can contribute to the ward where I can. He checked and we were chatting about my plans when a woman came up asking for her HT. She wanted a blessing because the docs had found nodules in her lungs. Someone went and got the former Bishop and his son and we all three went into a side room and anointed and blessed her. It was a fine blessing - but it did not crush the problem. Part of the problem is that you are often called with no notice to give that blessing, so there is little time to ponder/pray in order to find the Lord's will in the matter. I was quizzing the woman (who is a new convert), trying to get her level of faith in Jesus Christ and whether she wanted to be healed, or just needed a blessing of comfort. The blessing is largely dependent firstly on the will of the Lord, then upon the faith of the person that is requesting the blessing and thirdly, the ability of the one giving the blessing in successfully having the promptings of the Holy Ghost in order to know the will of the Lord and to command the will of the Lord authoritatively with faith in that which they are being the mouthpiece for.
It is no small thing to get all that right. Personal worthiness is also required in order that the giver of the blessing have virtue sufficient to imbue the person who is receiving the blessing, with that virtue. Now, for me, at this point in my learning, I have not been able to find much on the matter - only that when you are pronouncing the blessing, you will "fill" with this virtue and it will then be "transmitted" through your arms and into the portal of the person's spirit (which is the crown of the head). This is why we anoint there - and place our hands on the head of the recipient. At the location, where the spirit enters and leaves the body.
This virtue is actually some sort of force that comes and goes into and out of people. Those who suffer from low levels of virtue (spiritually, they are worn out due to sin or just due to a hard life that they have let get ahead of them by not taking proper care of the spirit within them), benefit from those who are at a higher level at that time. The Savior felt some virtue leave His person as the woman (whose virtue was at a lower 'entropic' state than His was at that point), touched His garment. When you are filled with light, or meet someone who is, the experience of meeting their "largeness" is described as "electric"; and it may well be so. When in the prayer circle in the temple, this same principle applies. Touch to other entities within that circle is paramount. Virtue is also applied/re-apportioned at those times. I love being in the prayer circle every opportunity that I can for this reason. The best place to increase virtue is a day serving in the temple in all higher ordinances including washings and anointings. If you are down due to life or other things - and need to "re-charge", there is no better place than the temple to get that done. Other than personal visitations by those trailing glory from Heaven, there is no better place to accomplish this. That is the closest we will get to heaven.
When giving blessings, we need to be very specific. Using words NOT imbued with faith is an exercise in futility. Words that are conditional, or better, tentative in nature like "would" or "might" are no good. I have seen them creep into our language - and it is NOT good. Words like "will" or "can" are the words to use. They are words that imbue the receiver with power and direction. They crush doubt, fear, uncertainty and cause the very devils to flee. These cause our confidence to wax strong, darkness to flee and faith to abide in your fortress of faith that you build around yourself every day through your words, actions and intentions.
Here is the original article that got me pontificating:

Never cease to pray for Trump and any good people he has surrounded himself with. The prayer of the righteous availeth much!!

NOW THE RICH AND FAMOUS ARE TAKING PREPPING INTO THE COOL ZONE
I have to say here that I was doing it well before these guys got into...... Always a trend-setter......lol
Here is the article:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4190322/Tech-billionaires-building-boltholes-New-Zealand.html
For those who cannot stand the stuff on the right of the screen - my apologies in advance. I cannot just cut and paste stuff. The blog formatting will not allow me to.
Use cellophane tape and a strip of white paper to cover up the garbage - if you must go there, or cannot avert your gaze. At the very least, let it be a reminder of why not having a tv/whollyweird mind-programming in your home is a good thing. If that trash were buzzing around my place 24/7, I would have gone ballistic and used a heavy sharp object on the screen many a time already.

SATURDAY'S WARRIOR
I know, I know - it is cheating to watch it on a Friday night:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--w9bOGpi2s
Apparently, there is a new 2016 one out - a non-stage production movie:
How did I miss this?? I am a major Warrior junkie.... I had a major crush on the Julie girl.

AN ARGUMENT IN FAVOR OF IMMIGRANTS
Who can't laugh at this - even if you are a rabid Trumpster??
Excellent board. Ten out of ten for cleverness - and the fact that she is clearly an immigrant and prolly one of three or four wives of some rich Afghani....lol:

THE HISTORY OF TREATMENT OF JEWS AND CHRISTIANS BY MUSLIMS
As spoken by a woman who seems to have the facts:
https://www.facebook.com/ILEARNEDALOTDOTCOM/videos/1085869904893104/
Holy smokes! The yellow star did not originate with hitler, it started with the muslims. And.... if you ever wondered about the prophecies of Rabbi Ben Samuel, this is a serious slamdown on the facts. Wow!!

FREEDOM TO SAY WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID ACROSS THE PULPIT
President Donald Trump's Congress about to turn back something that Lyndon "the bane of my existence, who lives up to his last name" Johnson brought about back in the 1950's. I did not know the history on this - and yet one more thing to loathe the guy for:
https://www.utahstandardnews.com/stunner-congress-considering-free-speech-pastors/
I would love to see a lot more calling out over the pulpit. It drives me nearly crazy to be part of any organization that espouses the PC movement in any shape or form. We should just say things as they are; Isaiah/Lehi/Jeremiah-style. And if it so be that we end up dead for speaking the truth, so be it. It is a fine legacy to be part of. I hear that the retirement bennies happen to be awesome....
And on that note, please never cease to pray for Trump's safety from the wolves. Apparently, he is firing the SS staff from the legacy whorehouse. I think we will see a general purge of nearly all the legacy staff including food service. At least that is how I would roll - if I were doing things in that environment.
Speaking of safety and protections, I am still so physically weak from that Texas-style cold last week that I determined that I would not be able to get work on my wife's project car done - so I headed to the temple where the pace is more sedate. In the second session, there was an older fellow who took probably a minimum of 10 mins to don the robes each time. I am guessing that he had some sort of motor skills issue and could not tie things easily. I shed some tears for him - knowing how easily I have always had it in my life; yet still complain frequently to the Lord over relatively trivial little things. How petty we can be...... :(
When we were putting away our robes after, he introduced himself and beamed, letting me know that this was the first time that he had been able to completely dress himself during a session. He is 69 years old. Well, he headed off to the locker room and, as things would be, we had the same locker cubicle. I took the one next to where my bag was and stripped down as much as I could, knowing I would have to go around the corner when the cubicle was free.
If it was less than 20 mins listening to him struggle with his buttons, I would be surprised. He talked to each one and I even heard a few choice words slip over them. The frustration must be extreme for him. While I was there waiting quietly and pondering life and being positive, I had the thought, "Maybe I will avoid an accident by being hung up here at the temple. This might be the Lord's hand at work - be patient."
Sure enough, I took my normal route home and as I rolled up on a sea of tail lights, an ambulance was riding my tail, and then a fire truck right behind that rig. They were the first ones to arrive on-scene. I had to use my larger rig to honk and bully the smaller cars out of the way since there was no shoulder on either side for the emergency folks to get down. I headed for the exit and was able to get a good view of the carnage from the side road. Several cars were wasted and one was hanging precariously from a guard rail upside down. Basically, a high speed spinout with many, many cars involved. One in the oncoming lane - and they were slowed down.
So, yeah. Never get angry or lose patience with what seem like roadblocks that are in your way. Just roll with it - and count your blessings.
Unless those roadblocks are spiritual - then raise heck and don't shut up until positive change happens!

THE NECESSITY OF TRIALS
Speaking of..... I am just coming out of a monster, Texas-sized cold. I rarely do get sick - but when I do...... The blog has been sparse for that reason. Most spare time has been spent slurping chicken soup and getting rest for mi cuerpo (or crapo, as the case actually was).
Here is a great quote for those who are bearing burdens:
“How can you and I really expect to glide naively through life, as if to say, 'Lord, give me experience, but not grief, not sorrow, not pain, not opposition, not betrayal, and certainly not to be forsaken. Keep from me, Lord, all those experiences which made Thee what Thou art! Then, let me come and dwell with Thee and fully share Thy joy!' ”
—Neal A. Maxwell, "Lest Ye Be Wearied and Faint in Your Minds," Ensign, May 1991, 88
Embrace your burdens and trials. They are actually signs of a good thing, if you are not laboring under major sin.
