Astronomers are calling it the “comet of the century.”
Comets offer one of the most spectacular celestial scenes the unaided human eye can see. By November or December, ISON is expected to be brighter than a full moon. Some believe it will be up to 15 times brighter.
While ISON may prove to be brighter than any other comet of the last century, this trip may also be its swan song, as it is projected to end its flight in a fiery death in the sun.

Comets are made of several parts. The core, or nucleus, is a solid snowball of dust and ice. As the comet nears the sun, the nucleus heats up, releasing the mixture of gas, called the coma, and dust, which forms the tail. There is also a plasma ion tail, which can be several hundred million miles long.
Occasionally, a comet is dislodged from its orbit and makes its way toward Earth.

Comet ISON, currently in the vicinity of Jupiter, was discovered by two Russian amateur astronomers, Vitali Nevski and Artyom Novichonok, using a 16-inch International Scientific Optical Network telescope in Vitebsk, Belarus. The comet possibly came from the Kuiper Belt, a region of icy small bodies beyond Neptune.
ISON, for the moment, is a faint object, visible only in sophisticated telescopes, but that will change in the next few months.
British astronomer David Whitehouse, in the London Independent, reports that by the end of summer, it will become visible in small telescopes and binoculars.
By October, the comet will pass close to Mars, and it will start to become exciting. The surface of the comet will begin to shift as it nears the sun. As it continues to warm, the surface will crack, releasing small puffs of gas from its core, forming the comet’s tail. Slowly at first, but with increasing energy, the gas and dust will reflect even more of the sun’s light
By autumn, the view should be remarkable.
Astronomers have calculated that the comet will not impact Earth, however, it will pass less than 800,000 miles away from Earth, making it easily visible.
Like the moon, comets do not shine on their own. They reflect only about 4 percent of the sun’s rays, about the same luminescence as a lump of coal. So while the sun’s reflection makes comets look brilliantly white from Earth, they are black on the surface.

The comet will begin brightening once it comes within Jupiter’s orbit, as the sun’s heat begins boiling the ice locked within, converting it directly into a gas.
The reaction to ISON is likely to recall the excitement of Comet Hale-Bopp, which sailed past the Earth in 1997, appearing as a static smear in the skies across the Northern Hemisphere.
ISON is also set to outshine “the greatest comet of the last century” – Comet McNaught, which shone brighter than Venus as it passed above the Southern Hemisphere in 1965.
There are reports Comet ISON’s path resembles that of the Great Comet of 1680, which is also called Kirch’s Comet or Newton’s Comet. That comet’s tail was reportedly visible during the day.
Comets are known as “dirty snowballs,” although technically a better definition would be “snowy dirtballs,” as they are generally rocky at the surface, with chemical-laden ice inside.
Comets can also give off a distinctive sound as they interact with the various space probes exploring the universe.
The timing of Comet ISON has set the astronomical world abuzz. The comet will be closest to the Earth during a time when the solar system’s star, the sun, will reach the maximum of its 11-year solar cycle.
While the comet will not impact Earth, the solar activity that will light up the comet will also unleash multiple Coronal Mass Ejections, or CME, that project trillions of tons of radioactive material at millions of miles per hour toward Earth.
If a major CME happens when the flare is facing directly toward Earth, satellites risk severe damage and, in some cases, destruction. In a nightmare scenario, a massive solar blast would initiate a cascading series of failures that could severely hamper daily life in today’s information age. Electrical systems would fail, and anything that depends on them — such as food, fuel and energy supply systems — simply would not work. No refrigerators in grocery stores, no pumps at gas stations, no valves controlling flows in dams.
The threat is serious enough that National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration scientists are watching these celestial events closely as the sun enters what is called the Solar Max. Government agencies are looking at contingency plans for anything from minor power and communication outages to destruction of global power grids and communications systems.
F. Michael Maloof relates in his book “A Nation Forsaken – EMP: The Escalating Threat of an American Catastrophe” that the effects of a solar maximum can be both spectacular and shattering:

On September 2, 1859, the largest recorded geomagnetic storm dazzled the pre-electronics era with auroras seen around the world. The white-light solar flare was so bright; folks in the northeastern United States could read newspaper just from the light of the aurora. The telegraph system in use all over Europe and North America failed. Telegraph operators were shocked, and telegraph pylons threw sparks, causing telegraph paper to spontaneously catch fire. And when telegraphers disconnected the batteries powering the lines, aurora-induced electric currents in the wires still allowed messages to be transmitted!

ISON might not be the only spectacular comet visible soon. Another comet, called 2014 L4 (PanSTARRS), was discovered last year, and in March and April it could also be a magnificent object in the evening sky.
Comets and other celestial objects have often been regarded as harbingers of events on Earth.
Mark Twain was born during the 1835 appearance of Halley’s Comet, and he predicted  he would “go out with it.” He died April 21, 1910, the day following the comet’s return.
The Star of Bethlehem heralding the birth of Jesus is mentioned in Matthew 2:

Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. (Mt 2:2 KJV)

This celestial event is also thought to be foretold in Numbers 24:17 and Isaiah 60:3. It has historically been explained in three ways: as a major comet; as a planetary conjunction or sequence of conjunctions; or as a supernova.
The first-century Roman historian Josephus, in Book VI, chapter 5 of “The Wars of the Jews,” recorded the arrival of a comet before the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70. Josephus recounts a heavenly “sign” that was ignored by those without eyes or minds to consider it at the time:

Thus were the miserable people (the Jews of Jerusalem) persuaded by these deceivers (false prophets), and such as belied God himself; while they did not attend nor give credit to the signs [of the heavens] that were so evident, and did so plainly foretell their future desolation, but, like men infatuated, without either eyes to see or minds to consider, did not regard the denunciations that God made to them.
“Thus there was a star resembling a sword, which stood over the city, and a comet, that continued a whole year.”

Biblical prophecies of the Last Days also include celestial events:

“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” (Joel 2:30-31 KJV)

From this passage and from Revelation 6:12-13 comes what is known as the “Blood Moon” prophecy.

Four “blood-red” total lunar eclipses will fall on Passover and Sukkot in 2014 and 2015, the same back-to-back occurrences in 1492, 1948 and 1967.
The Blood Moon theory says the Second Coming of Christ will likely occur in 2014 or 2015 when there will be four consecutive, rare lunar eclipses, or a tetrad. The eclipses will coincide with two major holidays on the Jewish calendar in 2014 and 2015: Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles.
Supporters of this theory believe the Rapture likely will coincide with one of the eclipses.
While the world did not end with the end of the Mayan calendar last year, Comet ISON is considered by some to be another celestial sign of things to come.

The book belongs to the forty-day literature; and as it opens, the Lord on his last day on earth with the apostles just before his ascension asks them if there is any final request they would like to make of him—exactly as in "3 Ne. 28:13 Nephi 28:1. What they want most is to understand the role of death and its horrors in God's plan for his children. fn To explain this the Lord tells them of the council in heaven in the preexistence where the plan of the creation is being discussed. There was great reluctance among the hosts to proceed with the creation of the earth, the earth itself complaining, exactly in the manner of "Moses 7:48Moses 7:48, of the filthiness and corruption that would surely go out of her and begging to be allowed to rest from such horrors. (Fol. 10a-b.) Because of the council's reluctance to proceed, God allows the lifeless body of Adam to lie upon the earth for forty days, unwilling, without the council's approval, to let his spirit enter. (11b.) The Son of God saves the day by offering to pay the price for whatever suffering will be entailed, thus permitting "God's children to return again to their former condition." (12a.) Christ alone thus becomes the author of our earthly existence; amid joy and rejoicing God calls for a book, in which he registers the names of all the "Sons of God" who are to go to earth. (See "Gen. 5:1Genesis 5:1ff; Fol. 12b.) This of course is the heavenly book of the generations of Adam opened at the foundation of the earth, the book to which Enoch refers so explicitly in "Moses 6:46Moses 6:46, "Moses 6:88.

In the presence of all the hosts, Adam is next made ready to take over his great assignment. He is placed on a throne and given a crown of glory and a scepter, and all the sons of God bow the knee first to God the Father and then to Adam the Father in recognition of his being in God's exact likeness and image. (13a.) Satan, however, refuses to comply, declaring that he is willing to worship the Father but not Adam: "It is rather he that should worship me for I arrived before he did!" (13a-b.) (See "Moses 1:19Moses 1:19: "I am the Only Begotten, worship me.") God saw that Satan, because of his boundless ambition and total lack of humility, could no longer be trusted with celestial power and commanded the angels to remove him from his office. This ordinance they performed with great sorrow and reluctance: They "removed the writing of authority from his hand. They took from him his armor and all the insignia of priesthood and kingship." Then with a ceremonial knife, a sickle, they inflicted upon him certain ceremonial blows of death which deprived him of his full strength forever after. (14a.) Other accounts say that after these cuts he retained only one-third of his former power, even as he was followed by one-third of the hosts.

Next Adam was escorted to earth to enter his mortal body, and for a hundred years thereafter he was often visited by angels. (14b.) Thereafter, for two hundred years he lived happily in innocence with Eve, taking good care of the animals in his charge. Eventually Satan succeeded in getting possession of a mortal creature, which enabled him to carry on an extensive campaign aimed at Eve. (16a-17a.) Adam was greatly upset; but when Eve, the victim of a trick, took all responsibility, he joined her. (17b.)

Satan stopped Adam outside of the Garden and gloatingly told him that this was his sweet revenge for Adam's victory in heaven: Adam had got him expelled from heaven and now he had paid him in kind; what was more, he intended to continue his project—"I will never cease to contend against thee and against all those who shall come after thee from out of thee, until I have taken them all down to perdition!" (21a-b.) With the threat of death before him, Adam saw the bitterness of hell (19a, 21b), but calling upon God he received not only the assurance of salvation for the dead through the atonement of Christ (20b), but was told that death shall be sweet to those whose names are in the Book of Life (24a-b). Fear of death (the angel Mouriel) is wholesome and necessary to remind the human race of its fragility and constant need of repentance. This has the salutary effect of countering Satan's plan by providing a constant check on the tendencies of men to misbehave, a sobering and, if necessary, frightening lesson.

What comes after the showdown between our first parents and the Adversary? Our sources obligingly go right on with the story and follow Satan from his attempts to win Adam's obedience to his highly successful interviews with Cain, tracing the steady spread of wickedness among mankind down to its culmination in the days of Enoch. There is no better summary of the story than that given in the book of Moses, which is surprisingly close to the "Combat of Adam" version on every point. Let us briefly survey events leading up to the call of Enoch, as given in the Joseph Smith account.

RYE FOR FOWL - THE WORD OF WISDOM

I found this anecdotal info on the web.  I think I will pay more attention to the little things in our scriptures.  I needed a cover crop for a field that had been used for boarding horses who tore up the first few inches of the soil with their hooves.  The soil was plenty fertile - but nothing but (really obnoxious) weeds would grow there.

I looked for the cheapest seeds I could find that had good coverage and the rye was it.  We planted it and some other cover grasses.  The grasses did not do well and the weeds eventually took completely over.  The rye, however, was able to grow quickly in dry soil conditions and took off, choking out the weeds.  In the fall I noticed the domesticated ducks and the wild pheasants were spending ALOT of time in that area of the farm working away on the seed heads.  Fowl love rye!  The pheasants in the area tripled in the year - not sure if it was from the abundance of food and they had a large brood or if others from outside the area were attracted to the large supply of food.

Here is something on the net that I found that noted the same thing:

When I was little, I visited my grandfather on his farm. He had me bring a bag of rye grain in from the barn. A mouse must have chewed a hole in the sack, because as I struggled with the heavy bag, I left a trail of rye all the way across the barnyard. My grandfather was upset at me for not noticing the hole and for wasting it. Later on, he thanked me. He said the chickens ate the rye and for the next several weeks they laid the biggest, strongest, richest eggs he had ever seen. So the WoW is spot on - "rye for fowl"!

FIFTY THINGS TO THINK ABOUT

Folks - we are in the middle of a massive battle of good versus evil.  Proven principle being attacked by devilish dogmas.  This is the time when you will find out whether you will be among those who are either luke-warm or hot.  The luke warm will be spewed out and not accepted into the Lord's kingdom.  OPEN YOUR MOUTHS as instructed in D&C88:81.  If the folks that are attempting to gain a stronger foothold perceive that the people will not resist their affronts, they will move ahead.  If there is a groundswell of opposition, they will back off.  The first attempt was in 1992 with Hillary Clinton and the attempt at healthscare back then - which is just a power grab.  They have tried again - and we are in the grips of it, but it can be shed, IF the people will rise up and fight it.

THE EARTH IS A GROWING SENSIATE BEING?

For the first time I may have my explanation as to why they may have lived longer before "the days of Peleg".  A smaller earth means faster rotations, shorter days, "longer" lives.  IF things return to the smaller earth scenario that existed in the days of Adam/Noah with no extreme mountains and the earth as one huge land mass once again (as we have been promised in scripture) - and all the wild stuff that Mother Mary Shipton talks about comes about, then this model fits PERFECTLY.....

It also may provide an explanation as to why the anti-christ in that day (after the great EQ that Spencer speaks of), gains control of the new earth temporarily, it is not safe to travel the oceans, and they think to change the times and seasons (things will have to be reckoned on a new scale based on the new period of rotation, etc.).

Just something to chew on - but fascinating nevertheless!!

ON THE EVE OF DESTRUCTION

I am feeling very - I guess I do not know how to describe it - tonight.

Its slightly worse than the feeling I had Nov 6th, 2012 and about on par when the healthscare battle was lost and we slid closer to socialism.

I realize the thugs in power may just have the self-given right to take away my ability to defend my family - and I realize I guess I will have to die to make sure that never happens.  I am that passionate on the matter.  I should have gone 10 years ago when my boy was taken home - so I guess these 10 good years have been freebies.  How I go matters to me.  If I go when I am 90 years old (the adjusted average for males in my family) after I have served several missions and enjoyed grandkids and my wife in my older years, then I will have been satisfied with my life.  If I go at half that age fighting for my God-given rights - defending my family from tyranny - foreign and domestic, then I am satisfied with that lot.  Not happy about it - but consigned to it.

One thing I will never be consigned to is to have my ability to defend my basic natural rights taken from me and then to end up in a helpless situation, driven from city to city because I refused to stand up early on.  And, yes, our prophecies talk of the Saints being driven from city to city.  No one can drive you if you have weapons - because you simply make that stand.  I get the concept of strapping explosives onto one's body and going into a crowd of your oppressors and lighting it off.  I understand the concept that its better to live free and die on your own terms, than it is to die at the hands of someone who is "just taking orders".  I know what is written in scripture is not just myth - they will be fulfilled every jot and tittle.  People will be asked to deny their faith in Christ or have their head lobbed off.  I understand that the Book of Mormon is a manual of how you act and react when being driven from city to city and place to place.  It was not written as some quaint story book that you read to your kids to entertain them at night - it is a manual for living in these last days and abridged from thousands of pages of possible writings, by a real man who saw our day.  One who had to pass through a portion of what we are about to embark on when real men decide they would rather die than submit.  Folks - there WILL be civil unrest and war in this country.  Not in some future generation - but in this one.  HAVE YOU PREPARED??

HOMOSEXUALITY AMONG ELITE POWER BROKERS - THE SANDUSKY CONNECTION

I just did a piece a few posts back about how the elite operate in sick, twisted circles.  I have heard the phrase (when it comes to the elite males), that "women are for having babies and the young boys are for pleasure".....  I think the last person I heard that statement about was on Prince Charles.  Yep - pretty sick stuff.  Princess Di, you are in a way better situation, even though you had to live up to your name to get there....  I have no first-hand knowledge of any of this kind of abuse among the elites - but where there is smoke, there is usually fire.....  I know the smoke is out there - and this is the first good example I have seen of how they work their works in the shadows.  Soon they will emerge and it will be general - and in the open.

In the previous article I did, the point was made that where you find elevated levels of homosexuality (above a statistical norm of around 2-5% in nature due to elevated levels of mercury exposure in the fetus, etc), you will find the power brokers (read gadiantons) have gained a foothold.  It is no coincidence that you have the outrageous problem you have in Frisco, and then find out that male prostitution is rampant at the nearby Bohemian Grove where these types come to hang out for a big boys' summer camp.  These parasites need a fresh supply to fuel the beast....

And so we find that Sandusky (Penn State football fame) was doing just this very thing.  He ran a 'charity' for disadvantaged boys who were then molested and spun into the system as "favors" for rich donors to Penn State.  All levels of the program were in on it, including the leadership at the University.  Here is an article that talks about this (and lets see how long it takes for it to be scrubbed from the net...):

At my current job, we have alot of top-notch recent-grad engineers from different schools come through the engineer mill and part of what I do is get them up to speed with the knowledge base where I work.  There is school pride - and then there is raw arrogance....  The most arrogant people I have run into are Penn Staters....  I have to say, I was more than happy to see that school knocked down a notch or two.  No more boasting about how great they are......  Bleche - cannot stand arrogant people - and based on where they got a stupid piece of paper from.....  Well, THAT particular place was a pervert mill.....and the next time I hear how great the f-ball program is there, I will gladly remind adherents of papa Joe Paterno that the guy was fully aware of the goings-on of his good buddy Sandusky the whole time.....  The same can be said (generally) of any Catholic organization - although, when you throw lifetime celibacy into the mix, you will get a massive spike in numbers in an all-male or all-female organization.....  Ewwww.....

So, how much power are we talking about here??  When a PA DA decided to check into reports of what was going on with Sandusky over 12 years ago, the guy disappeared.  He knew too much.  Same thing with another FBI agent assigned to investigate.  Yep, you know when you are playing with the big boys when people start dying prematurely or just plain disappearing.  So, this is how they operate - and why I DESPISE corruption.  They leave wreckage behind them in such an astounding manner.  They do not care about the consequences - they just care about themselves....  The ultimate in selfishness.  These types will be wiped from the human record.  You cannot reform them.  I think the best we have seen in the reform category was Paul (Saul) and Alma the Younger - and they were nowhere near what Sandusky and the gads that are running the show are at....

If you struggle with why the God of this earth chose to wipe the record clean the first time around by water - when "gay marriage" became sanctioned by the state for the first time and this Sandusky stuff was widespread.  It was for this very reason.  Think about the two options - an unreformable situation where the Sandusky situation is normal and accepted and little children are not safe from predatorial adults?  Or general slate wiping - and a millennial rest from this kind of thing?  I know where my choice is - and why I pray that this comes about speedily.  Sooner, rather than later - lets get it over with and move onto something that provides hope for our future.....let's do it for the kids....  No more gads and no more Sandusky "grads"....

The criminal case against former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky has put the media spotlight back on the missing persons case of Ray Gricar. An esteemed district attorney, Gricar failed to prosecute Sandusky for sex crimes in 1998, and later disappeared without a trace.
"We've had a lot of twists and turns. This is another -- obviously on a much greater scale than in the past," Gricar's nephew, Tony Gricar, told The Huffington Post.
According to a Pennsylvania grand jury report, Ray Gricar investigated allegations that Sandusky had inappropriate contact with an 11-year-old boy in a school locker room in 1998.
Earlier this week, Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly indicted Sandusky on 40 counts of sex crimes against young boys. According to the grand jury report, there are eight victims who were targeted between 1994 and 2009.
Since Sandusky's arrest, Penn State has been the subject of widespread criticism because of an alleged cover-up of the former coach's alleged illegal activities. Recently, that criticism has also fallen on Ray Gricar, the man who opted not to prosecute Sandusky in 1998.
The former DA, however, is not around to defend his actions. Ray Gricar has been missing since 2005, when he vanished under mysterious circumstances.
Ray Gricar was 59 years old in April 2005. He had served as the district attorney of Centre County for nearly 20 years and was preparing to retire at the end of the year. His career was a success, he was involved in a happy relationship with a woman who worked in his office, and he was close to his 27-year-old daughter, Lara. By all accounts, Gricar had lived a pleasant life and was looking forward to an ideal retirement.
On the morning of April 15, 2005, Gricar called his girlfriend, Patty Fornicola, and told her he was going for a drive on Route 192 toward nearby Lewisburg.
The trip was not out of the ordinary. Gricar reportedly had gone to the town on several occasions in the past to shop at an antique store.
But the DA failed to return home later that night, and calls to his cell phone went unanswered. Concerned, Fornicola contacted Bellefonte police and reported him missing.
The following day, Gricar's red and white 2004 Mini Cooper was found locked and abandoned in a Lewisburg parking lot, not far from the Susquehanna River, and he was nowhere to be found. A search of his vehicle did not indicate a struggle or any sign of foul play, but investigators did find cigarette ashes inside the car.
"Now we're not talking a lot. [It was] some minute cigarette ash on the passenger's side," Bellefonte police officer Darrell Zaccagni told the Cleveland Free Times in 2005. "When they opened the car ... a cigarette smell came out of the car. Ray didn't smoke. And he never let anybody smoke inside his Mini Cooper. Ray was very fastidious about his car."
Gricar's cell phone was locked inside the vehicle, but his keys and other personal effects, including his wallet, were missing. Search dogs were brought in, but they were unable to pick up on Gricar's scent.
Investigators questioned nearby store owners about Gricar. At least one thought he had seen the district attorney inside his shop on the day he disappeared and another was certain he saw Gricar speaking with an unknown woman, but it remains unclear whether the man they saw was actually Gricar.
A search of the Centre County home that Gricar and Fornicola shared also failed to produce any leads. None of his personal belongings were missing, but his work laptop was nowhere to be found.
"It's the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. In some ways, it's worse than having a parent die, I think, because you have no closure. I just want to know where my dad is," Lara Gricar said in a 2005 interview with the Centre Daily Times.
In the days that followed, the FBI and Pennsylvania State Police investigators were called in to assist in the case. Speculation soon turned to suicide -- a subject the Gricar family is all too familiar with.

Jerry Sandusky Grand Jury Report
In May 1996, Roy J. Gricar -- Ray Gricar's brother and Tony Gricar's father -- disappeared in Dayton, Ohio. His car was found abandoned across the street from the office where his son worked. A search of the area was conducted, but authorities found no trace of Roy Gricar.
Roy Gricar was missing for a few days before his body turned up in the Great Miami River. The coroner later ruled Roy Gricar's death a suicide by drowning. He reportedly suffered from bipolar disorder.
Fearing Ray Gricar might have taken his own life, investigators conducted an extensive search of the Susquehanna River but were unable to locate any sign of the district attorney.
Although Ray Gricar's body has not been found, two men fishing in the river in July 2005 found his missing laptop lodged against a support under the bridge. The laptop, while obviously severely damaged by exposure to the water, was complete -- minus the hard drive.
Roughly two months after Gricar's laptop was recovered, a woman walking along the banks of the river discovered the hard drive. It was near a railroad bridge, about 200 yards from the parking lot where Gricar's Mini Cooper was recovered. Unfortunately for investigators, the hard drive was so severely damaged that they were unable to retrieve any information from it. Whatever clues the laptop might have held were long since destroyed.
After the missing hard drive was found, the case quickly grew cold. Sporadic sightings of Gricar were reported throughout Pennsylvania and other states, but none of the tips yielded results.
Investigators explored a variety of possibilities but were unable to say for certain what might have happened. Polygraph examinations were given to several family members, but no people of interest developed.
In April 2009, investigators made a startling announcement in the case when they revealed the context of Internet searches that had allegedly been conducted on Gricar's home computer. According to police, someone had researched various ways of destroying computer hard drives in the weeks leading up to Gricar's disappearance. A coincidence or a vital clue? No one knows.

For now, the mystery remains.
"I still don't have a guess one way or the other," Tony Gricar said. "Do I think there is any connection to the Sandusky case? No."
According to the Associated Press, authorities also doubt there is a connection between the two cases.
In regard to why his uncle did not proceed with a case against the former Penn State coach, Gricar said there likely was not enough evidence.
"I have no idea other than he did not feel he had enough for a case," he said. "If he doesn't have the evidence to do it then everybody loses and you bring in double jeopardy at that point."
Gricar added, "People around the situation in 1998 recognize it was a bad situation, but there is a difference between recognizing it and being able to do anything about it."

In April, Pittsburgh radio host Mark Madden wrote a story revealing Penn State for much of the cover-up of Jerry Sandusky‘s alleged child rape that has been exposed in the past week. While it didn’t raise many eyebrows back then, six months later it looks to be incredibly accurate. On Thursday morning, just hours after legendary head coach Joe Paterno and university president Graham Spanier were fired by the school’s board of trustees, Madden was asked on WEEI’s The Dennis and Callahan Show what he believes the next piece of news will be. What he said was twice as shocking as anything that’s been released thus far. “I can give you a rumor and I can give you something I think might happen,” Madden told John Dennis and Gerry Callahan. “I hear there’s a rumor that there will be a more shocking development from the Second Mile Foundation — and hold on to your stomachs, boys, this is gross, I will use the only language I can — that Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors. That was being investigated by two prominent columnists even as I speak.” After the news spread, Madden later explained via Twitter why he went public with the rumors. “I normally abhor giving RUMORS credence,” Madden wrote. “But whole Sandusky scandal started out as a RUMOR. It gets deeper and more disgusting all the time. One of state’s top columnists investigating. That adds credence. I am NOT rumor’s original source. [Why does] Sandusky deserve benefit of doubt?” Madden also spoke more definitively on Dennis and Callahan to the cover-up efforts at the school and beyond that he expects will be made public soon. “The other thing I think that may eventually become uncovered, and I talked about this in my original article back in April, is that I think they’ll find out that Jerry Sandusky was told that he had to retire in exchange for a cover-up,” Madden said. “If you look at the timeline, that makes perfect sense, doesn’t it? “My opinion is when Sandusky quit, everybody knew — not just at Penn State,” Madden added. “I think it was a very poorly kept secret about college football in general, and that is why he never coached in college football again and retired at the relatively young age of 55. Archaeologists abuzz in Mary Magdalene's hometown

An intricately decorated stone found in what is believed to be a first century synagogue in Magdala, Israel.

When many people hear the name of Mary Magdalene, they automatically think of a prostitute.
But the Bible never indicates the female follower of Jesus was involved in any sexual sin.
What it does say is that she was the first person to see the risen Christ, and that she had previously been possessed by seven demons.
Now, excitement has been growing in recent years in the woman’s ancient hometown of Magdala, Israel, where archaeologists believe they’ve found a first century synagogue, prompting some to wonder whether Jesus Himself visited the building.
“It is likely that people who used this synagogue were witnesses to the multiplication of the loaves and other miracles depicted in the four Gospels,” says a promotional video at MagdalaCenter.com, a project looking to construct a hotel and worship complex in the area.
The dig has received some international publicity in recent days, with much interest focusing on what’s called the “Magdala Stone,” a large stone initially discovered in 2009 featuring intricate carvings on every side except its bottom.
One of the images on the stone is that of a menorah, and could be related to the ancient temple of God in Jerusalem. It’s believed to be the oldest menorah sculpted on stone ever discovered.

“This stone is really unique, we’ve never excavated anything like it,” Dina Gorni, one of two archaeologists from the Israeli Antiquities Authority working on the site, told Middle East journalist Irris Makler, who has been covering the story for the Global Mail and Public Radio International.
“It took me three days to believe what I was seeing, that we are standing in a synagogue from the time that the temple in Jerusalem was functioning. … That stone had power. You could feel it. We abandoned all the other areas and began digging here. Everything was near the surface, and everything was from the first century.”
“It is a kind of a miracle, I think,” Gorni continued. “We didn’t know there was any ancient material on this site. We knew of material further south, where there had been extensive excavations. We were only digging here as a precautionary measure before a building project began.”

Archaeologists think this site in Magdala, Israel, is the remains of a first century synagogue.

The remains of the structure were just 20 inches beneath the topsoil, and no other towns had apparently been built over the ancient fishing village for two millennia. Magdala was located next to Capernaum, which is cited 16 times in the New Testament, saying Jesus resided there.
Gorni, herself a non-religious Jew, has been working the site with a Muslim archaeologist, Arfan Najjar.

Makler notes that both diggers give cautious support to the notion Jesus was there at some point.
“They point to the synagogue’s location and its size as marking it off from the rest of the town’s Jewish community,” Makler said. “It was on the outskirts of Magdala, in fact almost out of town. It was built for a congregation of 120, not the thousands who lived there, and was smaller and more highly decorated than the few other surviving synagogues from this period.”
Interestingly, the Book of Acts actually numbers Jesus’ disciples in the immediate aftermath of His death, resurrection and ascension to heaven, stating, “the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty.” (Acts 1:15)
“We believe, we suggest, that this was a special community, not large, that put itself at the edge of the main Jewish village. This community wanted to make their religious house different. They put money into it, into the decorations, into the special stone altar,” Gorni told Makler.
“They may be connected to Jesus and Mary Magdalene. We know that Jesus was not involved in the main Jewish community and preferred to live aside. Perhaps he was the leader around whom this synagogue was built.”
The man who originally sought to build on the site is Father Juan Maria Solana, director of Jerusalem’s Pontifical Institute.

“To be frank, I felt something about this place and this project, that it was impossible to explain,” Solana told Makler.
Scripture never specifies Jesus going to Magdala, but Solana says the discovery of the synagogue suggests a re-examination may be in order.
“From the Jewish point of view, the position is clear. It’s a first century synagogue, beautifully decorated, with pieces of art and an altar such has never been found in any other synagogue from that time. Never, ever,” Solana said.
“From the Christian point of view, we cannot doubt that Jesus would have been there sometime. The first Christian communities used to gather in the synagogues. They were observant Jews. So it’s clear that the first generation of Christians used to gather there.”

HOMOSEXUALITY AMONG POWER BROKERS

i have done a few pieces about the Bohemian Grove and other connections about how there is rampant homosexuality among those in power in the world's elites.  Most are living a double life - and they are raw evil......  I would name names here - but I will wait.   The most obvious example is Senator Craig - and you can look up other secret society practices such as with the skull and bones.

Where ever you see smoke, there is most likely fire.  Here is an excerpt from a free downloadable book called; Save Two Churches Only, which puts the hellish practice in context:

One of Cain's grandsons, Irad, decided to break his oath and began
revealing the existence of the conspiracy, even exposing the secrets of the
organization, to the other sons of Adam – who, in all likelihood, were
completely oblivious to this tremendous evil beforehand. Irad therefore was
the first ever whistleblower. Whether or not anyone believed him, poor Irad
also became the first recorded martyr for whistleblowing. He was not killed
as part of a strategy to obtain wealth, power or manipulation, but because
he had broken the oath of secrecy which he had made with his conspiratorial
brethren.
Verse 51:
“For, from the days of Cain, there was a secret combination, and their
works were in the dark, and they knew every man his brother.”
Every secret combination initiate knew every other initiate. This phrase
is not merely saying that they could tell each other apart from non-initiates.
Consider the wording: Would the Lord feel it necessary to state that these
men were aware of each other? Or that they sealed their dark works with a
perversion of divine procreation?
Sodomy is a part of the oath and bond of the initiates of secret
combinations. As a marriage covenant is consummated on the wedding night, so the initiation into Lucifer/Satan-bound secret organizations is sealed
with the act of sodomy. God creates. Satan imitates. This verse reveals that
the male homosexual act not only existed long before the vices of the city of
Sodom and Gomorrah, but that from the start it was an integral aspect of
secret society initiation.
If this seems too far fetched, refer to Genesis chapter 19 verses 4
through 8. Two angels visited Lot's home in Sodom and Gomorrah (however,
the Hebrew translation is “messengers”, so it's likely that they were men sent
on errand from God, or they were possibly angels appearing as normal
humans) (emphasis added):
“... the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young,
all the people from every quarter: And they called unto Lot, and said unto
him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out
unto us, that we may know them.
“And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. Behold now, I have two
daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out
unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men
do nothing;”
These influential men of the city of Sodom wished to “know” Lot's
visitors. By the context of Lot's reaction, it is obvious that they intended to
sodomize them. Lot, desperate to protect these holy visitors, offered up two
of his virgin daughters for these men to rape instead. What a commentary
on why the Lord felt it necessary to wipe out that city.
Those who bind themselves to secret societies take an oath to do all in
their power to protect each other from discovery and prosecution, as well as
assisting each other in getting away with any manner of wickedness. The
homosexual act is a consummation of that oath. Whether they are personally
inclined to prefer intercourse with men, women or both, initiates express and
strengthen their conspiratorial binding by engaging in homosexual
intercourse with each other.
Ponder the implications: secret combinations are the origin of
homosexual intercourse. It is one of the abominable fruits of their unholy
alliance with each other. It is one of the multiple symptoms that creeps into
the cultures they infect and infest. As in the powerful example of the cities of
Sodom and Gomorrah, the prevalence of homosexuality or bisexuality in any
given culture is in direct correlation of the power, influence and ovcovenanted with Satan; for they kept not the commandments of God, and
it displeased God, and he ministered not unto them, and their works
were abominations, and began to spread among all the sons of
men. And it was among the sons of men....
“And thus the works of darkness began to prevail among all the sons of
men.”
Lucifer/Satan-covenanted conspiratorial combinations “began to spread
among all the sons of men.” It spread secretly, being undetected by those
who had not taken such oaths. These things did not occur here or there, or
in remote areas – “it was among the sons of men... the works of darkness
began to prevail among all the sons of men.”
Recall Doctrine and Covenants 123 (emphasis added):
“Therefore, that we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to
light all the hidden things of darkness.... These should then be attended to
with great earnestness. Let no man count them as small things; for there
is much which lieth in futurity, pertaining to the saints, which depends
upon these things.”

Remember, it was these things becoming general among the people which led to the first destruction by water.  The next one comes by fire.  Folks - it must be fought with all energy of soul.....

A CALL TO ARMS IN THE DEFENSE OF WIVES, CHILDREN AND PROPERTY

Just in case you are one of those bleeding hearts who thinks that turning your ability to defend your family and community or nation against tyranny is your duty to be a more Christ-like person, here is something to chill your bones......  And  I do not care if this "shakes your testimony" of the restorer of this dispensation - now is not the time to pussy-foot around on eggshells - get in or get out, but either way, rise up and be a man (or woman):

"...We feel to hope for the best, and are determined to prepare for the worst. And we want this to be your motto in common with us, 'that we will never ground our arms untill we give them up by death--' 'Free trade and sailors rights, protection of persons and property, wives and families.' Having said that, YES I do expect to live in a world where none of this is required.  I dream of it, in fact.  But not in a telestial world where all evil has not been put under the feet of our Savior.  Until then, if you do not rise up to defend your stewardship, you will have to answer to it in the judgment.....
