ATTACK FROM SPACE A THING?

I firmly believe that the USA has used the Rod from God on a Chinese port in the past.

Since that event, China has stepped up their space-based weapon systems programs.

In regards to this, China is back n the news.  I trust the British news and even the Russian Reuters more than our own propaganda organs:

Ignore at your own peril.

  1. For the Strength of Youth has this question in it:

Q: I am attracted to people of my same sex. How do these standards apply to me?
A: Feeling same sex attraction is not a SIN. If you have these feelings and do not pursue or act on them, you are living Heavenly Father’s sacred law of chastity. You are a beloved child of God and a disciple of Jesus Christ. Remember that the Savior understands everything you experience. Through your covenant connections with him, you will find strength to obey God’s commandments and receive the blessings, He promises. Trust Him and His gospel.

    • EVERY FORM OF homosexuality IS SIN. Pornography is one of the approaches to that transgression. There is no halfway.
    • Some people are ignorant or vicious and apparently attempting to destroy the concept of masculinity and femininity. More and more girls dress, groom, and act like men. More and more men dress, groom, and act like women. The high purposes of life are damaged and destroyed by the growing unisex theory. God made man in his own image, male and female made he them. With relatively few accidents of nature, we are born male or female. The Lord knew best. Certainly, men and women who would change their sex status will answer to their Maker.

So, is this a contradiction to the teachings of our prophets?

    1. Well first we need to delve into the world of contradictions. I think you can find several if not many in the scriptures. And they remain contradictions until the missing piece to the puzzle is provided which provides a connection between the two ideas or contradictions. So I think it would be interesting if there is a discussion and listing of contradictions first. Then we can go back and see if there is a piece of the puzzle connecting?

    2. In this example, I think it comes down defining terms. How is homosexuality defined? Is it thoughts, or actions? In For strength of youth, they don't use any terms with ambiguous meanings but are very direct. Someone's naturally occurring attractions and innate feelings are not a sin, immoral actions are. But I know the term homosexuality is defined in different ways by different people. Some people might define it as just same sex BEHAVIORS, while others might argue that it's same sex BEHAVIORS and THOUGHTS and ATTRACTIONS. My understanding of gospel principles indicates that agency has to be involved in order for a sin to be committed. I personally don't see a contradiction in the two examples you gave. It says " all forms of homosexuality is a sin." I don't think that extends to someone's innate attraction or how they feel (no agency involved), I think it extends to behaviors (agency), and if they are violating the law of Chastity.
