Folks, these are serious allegations. Just the fact that a formal investigation has been opened up against Chad at this point (independent of any child endangerment charges against Lori V. have been legitimately raised), is a BIG deal. He was a man in good standing up until about a year ago and then his membership in the Church was brought into question and then the weird marital circumstances, etc. It just kept getting more weird by the minute.
According to this report, he told someone his plan had to go forward and his now-deceased wife was in the way (so to speak). In retrospect, I believe something had been hatched between Lori and he (probably was sexual), and his wife had to be dispatched with in order to move on. There was a life insurance policy involved, as well. The old money and sex thing. Welcome to the old Cain plot (although, it was herds and sex, in that case).... The Jewish tradition is that Cain had a thing for Abel's wife, so when Cain dispatched with Abel, he ended up with the wife and the hard work of Abel in one fell swoop - along with the dubious distinction of having turned from God and followed after the god of this fallen world, ole Scratch....
So sad that people are suckers for such a mess of pottage. I mean, sure sex is fine and dandy - but to put yourself at risk of ending up as Bubba's cell mate with the attendant sex that goes along with that.... (sorry for the visual there), there simply must be something seriously flawed in thinking, rationale, let alone the spiritual darkness that leads a person there. It has always baffled me - to the core how people get themselves into these messes! Doesn't rational thought take over at some point? Is there no guilt? How do people sleep at night? It just boggles the mind!
But this is kind of a regular thing in this fallen orb with so much infidelity and backwardness. I mean maybe I am not doing something right, but money has always been easy come, easy go with me. And quite frankly, sexual intercourse is a great way to bond with a spouse - but to kill for it?? Sorry - there is something really messed up there. It is the greatest of delusions out there. One day, the scales of darkness of the mind have to fall off and the person has to realize and confess that they have made a colossal mistake. I think Chad is a good person, deep down whose thinking and actions were clouded by thinking with his lower brain.... I think Lori Vallow may have been decent in times way past, but is completely pathological at this point. I would never turn my back on her, if I had to be around her. Both cases show how much a person can fall.
Going forward, this thing will likely lead to a conviction in the case of Chad's first wife. The state would not be spending resources on this unless they knew they had a case. My guess is that they found something in the exhumation and autopsy - and they are just trying to build the case that both parties were in on her untimely demise. I would be horrified to be her family; and her poor children. She was not even 50 years old with many good years ahead of her. How must they be feeling?!?
Going forward, this mess has cast a pall over anyone who espouses any kind of beliefs or thoughts on end times scenarios. Forget about talking about the 144K, or an overflowing scourge that will sweep the wicked (and many good people) from the land, or any other apocalyptic beliefs. People have chucked the baby with the bathwater, even though we supposedly have an overflowing scourge in the land (even if only in CNN's mind). To the point, that you pretty much cannot discuss anything Spence has experienced, without being branded. The devil scored a victory with this whole mess of Chad and even Julie Rowe and her pseudo witchcraft. It has created disinformation, apocalyptic dysphoria and such - even in my own home. Seminary teachers have been ordered to stay off the topic. Temple presidencies the same, even in a casual conversation in the hardware store. The modern pharisees have won the battle amongst the rank and file.
The disconnect is so real that, even with people dropping like flies (in this wave this is yet coming), people will still be in denial and will refuse to prepare in order to avoid looking like one of those crazy preppers. Heaven forbid they become labeled.....
I WILL extract my pound of flesh in the courts on high when this whole thing is over. From the Darwinists that have killed BYU (let alone the rainbow people), to the two-Cumorah theorists who have created chaos in the collective faith of the Church members who are too intellectually and spiritually stunted to figure things out, to those who sit in positions of power within our temples who openly say that Joseph Smith never had experiences with evil spirits and that those things are figmentary imaginations of the mind. To these charlatans, I say that your time is coming - every bit as much as Chad Daybell's time is coming. You may squabble over a dilapidated barn - but your time is limited. Things are going to be set in order here shortly and you will have no place to hide. Your flimsy arguments and rationale will melt as the hoar frost in the advancing morning sun. And you will yet experience weeping, wailing and much gnashing of teeth until you have paid the utmost farthing for leading the flock astray.
It will be a beautiful thing for those of us who have watched and waited patiently for our Lord.
Truth is, there is a coming terrible persecution - and the saddest thing is that the worst of that persecution will come from those within the ranks of the Church. They will be clamoring for the mark of the beast and swatting down anyone who says it is just a figment of a deluded mind to be ignored and pushed aside. And so you are no better than Chad or Lori.
I do believe in perfect Justice. Maybe not in this life (though some do end up sipping carrots through straws....), but it will come in the next at the very least.
Sit back, pop the popcorn and wait. This is my motto. I am sure this is Sister Daybell's motto....:

In the end, Justice always wins.
Iraq, I check in to read your commentary from time-to-time. Let me just say that I'm awfully glad that our judge is the Lord Jesus Christ, whose mercy (as taught in Alma) overpowers justice when we repent, and not you. You seem very rigid, vindictive, and inflexible in your views on anyone else's problems. Almost gleeful in imagine someone less perfect than you getting their come-uppance. Weird.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how you can say Chad is still a good person on one hand and call Julie Rowe a witch on the other. BE CAREFUL HOW YOU JUDGE!JUST SAYIN! " I think Chad is a good person, deep down whose thinking and actions were clouded by thinking with his lower brain (lower brain (male or female) is not an excuse - I agree God is the judge and he knows what truly happened, however he is not a respecter of persons. God can see our hearts....) As far a Julie goes "Julie Rowe and her pseudo witchcraft"; I don't agree with everything she says; however, you may be surprised one day that God truly did entrust her with a special mission; and like Samuel in the Book of Mormon, she must move forward in her mission despite the persecution. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy your posts for the most part. I believe you are truly seeking to be God's faithful servant.

ReplyDeleteConfused on why you would call Chad Daybell, who may be responsible for the death of his wife,("I think Chad is a good person, deep down whose thinking and actions were clouded by thinking with his lower brain") a good person and accuse Julie Rowe of being involved in witchcraft on the other. See Jeremiah 17:9-10
ReplyDeleteI will agree that we had a great book (Visions of Glory) come out, then it's clear what happened--the adversary stirred in a deluge of crazies and frauds (Daybell, Julie Rowe, and many more) to pollute the good stew. Now everyone who openly discusses or believes in the coming tribulation looks like a fool. Well played, Satan. But you're going to lose.
