We left on our five week east coast tour and basically saw few, if any, fires.
Coming back, it was a whole new story. It seemed like every place we turned, it was on fire.
I think this just comes with the territory of living in the west with this drought that John Koyle talked of. I think it will worsen into next year. Bishop Koyle said the fifth year of the drought it would be particularly acute.

It is good to have an evacuation plan for a major wildfire should it ever strike close to home. There are protection of homes, animals, etc that need to be considered.
