This is a big deal because those officiating in the temple must be anointed with the ashes of a Red Heifer and those ashes were not found with the original Temple Mount treasures.
I would think It must be performed by Levites. Under what authority do they do this? We know Levites have the authority as Bishops if they are members - how ever that works.
I don't see anything immediately happening here. Could be a false start. They have no evidence of where the temple was on the so called temple mount. All evidence I see has it in the city of David. When Jesus said not one stone left upon another of the Temple, that would include the mount. The Romans were determined to make sure the Jews could never return to rebuild the temple and the mount was as much a part of the temple as the temple itself. But how are you going to tell the Jews they have been putting their prayers in cracks of the stones of Fort Antonio for over a thousand years.
