Yikes! This is not good!:
I keep wondering how this could all end and it does not feel good. If Russia gets to a point, she will use her nuclear forces. I almost want Russia to win the Ukraine thing (partly because I get why we invaded Cuba in the early 60's and partly because I do not think Russia is incapable of world domination, so what could it hurt to have a satellite state to the west of her and partly because I understand that you would not necessarily want to stick around and defend a half-rotten salmon the river bank when a half deranged and hungry Kodiak has smelled it and decides it is lunch time....). The best policy may be to back away slowly - because what that bear sees as an impediment to it's next meal just may become it's next meal....
I really see disaster on the horizon when extrapolating out the current scenario to it's end. And this is how arrogant nations come to an end. Which reminds me that I need to get more familiar with the Goths and Visgoths and how the Roman Empire crumbled.
