IF IT’S GOOD ENOUGH FOR PRESIDENT NELSON, IT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME

If I hear this intellectually and spiritually lazy statement one more time, my head will explode.  I really do not care if I alienate every single person that thinks they re headed to heaven or into the bosom of the Lord.  God will not take a lazy group of people in; on whose belief is that they will be saved because they followed the actions of another without verifying it against the advice of the true Shepherd.

If Revelations 12-18 is talking of a worldwide event that deceives the nations, and this is not it, then pray tell; WHAT IS IT?!?!?

I think President Nelson has done a great job of navigating he shoals of Babylon right up until I saw the needle hanging out of the shoulder on Jan 20th.  Now I am just left scratching my head until I have a bald spot....

Joseph Smith himself warned that we should not be depending on the prophet:

"PRESIDENT Joseph Smith read the 14th chapter of Ezekiel [see, for example, verses 9-10: 'If the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing...the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him.']...said the Lord had declared by the Prophet [Ezekiel], that the people should each one stand for himself, and depend on no man or men in that state of corruption of the Jewish church -- that righteous persons could only deliver their own souls -- applied it to the present state [1842] of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints -- said if the people departed from the Lord, they must fall -- that they were depending on the Prophet, hence were darkened in their minds, in consequence of neglecting the duties devolving upon themselves..." (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith pp. 237-3

I begin to see why Joseph’s last dream was so significant...

  1. If you saw pres nelson buy a ford pickup truck does that mean that you have to buy a ford pickup. He made a choice as a man not a prophet

  3. I've considered the thought that this might be the beginning of a test. What would happen if information comes out that the v@ccine is harmful. Wouldn't this cause many people to lose their faith in the prophet and thus in the church. Yet the prophet told us "But in coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost." So if you followed the prophet and took the HG as your guide then you wouldn't be deceived. But if you put your trust in the arm of flesh, you would be deceived into taking the v@ccine and then potentially losing your faith because you would feel betrayed. I hope this comment is clear and not too convoluted.

  4. Whoa...step back and think. This is a world wide church and to do His job... and I mean HIS (the Lords) ... to do that work, the 12 has to travel. I do not think this is to have the membership take the jab as you pointed out but is directed at letting the Church continue the gospel push. It's more than about the individual for now and the time will come when that is reversed and we take more of a moral stand as an organization. We all just need to take step back and look at the broader picture and ignore the masses that are going to follow without thought. Nothing we can do for them, its time for the Lord to teach His sermons.

  6. If the vaccine weakens the immune system and long term deadly, the 15 prophet, seer, and revelators that are sustained maybe significantly reduced. Prayers and priesthood blessings maybe the only prevention to losing all 15.

  7. I prayed about getting the vaccine or not and felt impressed to do so.

  8. Just praying about to receive a vaccine or not or any other issue out there is just the lazy mans way to foolishness. It requires research and looking with an open hart and mind. It takes time and pondering and careful weighing of issues. I didn't have to pray about not taking a shot, (not to mention I don't think any vaccine is of any benefit) this vaccine cult is a part of the Deep State Globalist Empire that is clearly, to me at least, the Secret Combination we have been warned about in the BofM. this entity is not just in America but it extends to most of the Developed world and minor compromised countries.

In short it comes down to knowledge. All truth passes through 3 stages first it is ridiculed, second, it is violently opposed and third, it is accepted as self evident. Granted, it did take a while for me to finally accept the truths of the extent of this Secret Combination.

  9. Saying that I prayed about receiving it doesn't mean that's all I did. I've read a lot about the vaccines, had determined never to get it and then through a few things that happened and that people said a small door of consideration was opened and I prayed about it. Actually, I never prayed about not getting it...I'd already decided not to. The amount of finger pointing, judging, condemning and self-righteousness by people like you on the blog is fascinating. You were quick to call me lazy and foolish without having a clue.
