JULIE ROWE IS OUT

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

I am not sad.  I have no interest in or sympathy for the energy healing crowd.  Just as with Denver (testimony) Snuffer, she sought a following that eventually would eclipse loyalties to the pure doctrine of Christ, as taught by His faithful servants.  No man can serve two masters....  Energy healing was a way to make money - and a form of Priestcraft.  Julie used the good name of the Church to promote herself and increase her following.

Problem is, Elder Ballard did everything but actually name her in his talk denouncing the practice, etc.  She still persisted.  The right thing happened and she is now where she needs to be - in a place where she can evaluate her stance and make corrections, as she sees fit.  She is at defiance with the 12 Apostles.  Not a good place to be.

If I can find the Eric Smith podcast, I will post it.

Can people NOT see that what they are doing is Priestcraft?  Do they not see that it is akin to what the d'evil did when he sought to deviate from Father's plan?  Can they not see that they are part of the sifting - and that those that they cause to fall from the truth, will be upon their own heads?  All of those sins?

I do not have those kinds of credentials, that paygrade to chip away at the Lord's chosen plan for the last days.  What kind of pride or deception is it?

I suspect there is grandiosity involved.  I suspect there is delusion involved.  I suspect, as things were manifested in Ogden several years ago, that she is suffering a serious mental illness.  Just sad to watch!

Just sad to see so many lemmings going off the cliff after her.

  2. I read her books years ago and was pretty hooked. Actually that is how I found your blog, because I was googling for more information about her to find out if she was legit or not. Now years later hardly any of what she "prophesied" has happened, which makes me feel pretty foolish. I'm sure the Church did what was right. This lady needs to get with the program.

  3. She always told her followers to follow the leadership of the church, and not to just take her word for truth. She always said to take questions and confirmation to the Lord, instead of blindly believing. I hope her family is doing ok, everyone deserves the kindness of Christ that each of us have the ability to give. That being said, I had to stop following when her nonprofit organization started and she started releasing youtube podcasts.

  4. I just don't see any sort of Priestcraft going on with Julie.
She supports the Leadership of the Church. Snuffer is perfect example of Priestcraft.
Snuffer says that the Nauvoo Temple was not "properly completed" as such the Church had not fulfilled it's duty and is in an apostate state - that is priestcraft.

I have heard people saying that Julie is giving dates when she has not. She has said the Cleansing is eminent, for some time. The same as "it has been on the door step" since the 1800's, stated from the Church leadership many times. I take what she says with a grain of salt. If there is something I question, like Mike Stroud, I put it up on the shelf and the truth may find it's way some day.

I don't care about her energy healing, maybe it works, maybe it's the Placebo effect.
I doubt most Members of this church know anything about this unless they have been deeply involved in it to be able to give a more accurate account. The world and universe are so massive in the sense that there is so much we do not understand.

I can't imagine why the Stake officials at the Church Court were so angry and accusatory with her. Completely wrong spirit. Just state the issues and ask questions and verify information, and make a decision. You do not brow beat to bring someone to your belief.

I have accepted long ago that the Church has a many zealots that I usually keep my distance. The letter of the law sort that Jesus had to deal with. Things have not changed from Christ's time. We have more information than the early saints, but there is still so much to learn. I believe zealots act out of fear, insecurity or a sense of superiority.

This reminds me of when Avraham Gileadi was caught up with the liberals in the frenzied excommunications years ago for which he was latter exonerated and reinstated.
Remember when John Koyle was excommunicated? They would not listen to his side of the story, they chose to act on others gossip. He had a jurisdiction over the Mine and did not speak or impose himself in the Church's duties and always supported the local and central leadership. He had a following, he also sold shares in the mine for the purpose of
Building the mine and never enriching himself. Koyle had a very potent gift of prophecy that I think was threatening.

  5. Wow, I listened 2 times to this podcast and I'm fascinated by how she

#1 accuses her accusers. Of porn and other stuff
#2 explains with spewing hatred about how her stake president will die "it wont be pretty"
#3 she mentions how she knew this was going to happen... Like she knows all things before they happen and yet she was angered to the point of swearing (her words) when the verdict was read. and then she said right before that Christ was with her thru the court telling her "well done thou good and faithful servant"

#4 she talks about how many of the Apostles will fall as well as many of the Quorum of the Seventy and how the Enemy has "infiltrated the Church". She wont name names she just says "you know who you are".

Honestly I had a hard time listening to her spew so much hatred and at the same time she will tell you that it was the Stake president that was throwing the hatred around. I have only listened to her side and it sounds like she is throwing nails into her own coffin. She truly puts herself above her stake president and area authority and many of the 12... her words.

It reminds me of a scripture. In that day many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many. I believe that this scripture is directed to His church and his people. It seems the rest of the world doesn't care to much.

For me I will follow Russel M. Nelson.

I pray that Julie will come to herself and repent of the evil that she is spewing. Honestly she is really hard to listen to.

    Just my 2 cents.

  6. She also has the Eric lapdog so mesmerized that she can say anything, no matter how doctrinally asinine, and he'll eat it up. Example: JR: "God has a 100-foot-tall bodyguard." Eric: "Really?" For a clear example of how she manipulates him, check out her latest "Shepherds in the Last Days" podcast, where she seduces him by claiming that he was with her in a meeting in the pre-existence, where everyone (all of God's children, apparently) raised their hands to sustain them for their future books and podcasts. The guy is too spellbound to consider that the Lord wouldn't inspire someone to say things that gets her excommunicated from his church; to naive to see that throwing a public tantrum after her disciplinary court might be bit of an indication that she's nuts; or the claim that "millions on the other side of the veil watching her radio shows" is a sign of narcissism. If nothing else, the JR Show is good entertainment and an example of how far off the path some members can get. Wake up, Eric.
